Adequate for a brief stay. There is no swimming pool. Other facilities are fine. The park has plenty of trees and is well maintained.

Received a stern lecture at check in about keeping my dog out of other peoples sites. I stayed overnight and had to step over piles of dog waste the next morning in order to disconnect my cords and hoses. Apparently the long term guest next door didn’t get the same lecture that I did. I’ll never stay there again.

We got in late, they made it extremely easy to get our paperwork and find our site. We left fairly early in the morning. It was a beautiful tree shaded campground, very clean. It was a very pleasant stop over.

The grass at the sites is overgrown, as is the landscaping in general. It seems run down over all, relative to other KOA's and definitely overpriced. I would not choose this location as a base to see Joplin and will look for a different stop over spot my next time through.

Best stay we have had at this location. This is on our route to see family in Indiana; we usually get assigned the sites on the road, it was nice to have one on the less travel roads.

Second time I have stayed there. The only complaint I have is the adds showed cable tv and when I got there the host told me what channels I would get then took me to my spot. I could not find the tv hook up so next time I was by the office I asked where it was and the answer was - oh the spot we gave u does not have cable

The Joplin KOA was very nice. Spaces were large and cared for. The employees were helpful and friendly.

The staff seemed to be unfriendly and “bothered” when asked a question. The grounds and property just looked unloved or cared for. The grass was mostly dead looking, the swimming pool was not repaired. Almost no spaces were being used. For in and out overnite this is okay but it is not the normal KOA that we expect to see.

Good place to stop along the way. Nice clean restrooms/showers. Bonus lounge area to sit and relax, cook, watch TV. Very close to walking distance fast food. Pull through spaces, sporadic shade. Close to the highway for easy on/off access but not close enough to hear it. Gas station and convenience store at the same exit.

This Journey is very close a business area, however, very private and quiet. It is clean, nice sites, and it has large trees providing shade in most areas which was a nice welcome. Helpful and friendly staff!

We did a quick one night stop in our travel trailer. The site was easy to get into and level. Checkin was quick and friendly. Definitely a good stop.

Very clean, nice campground. Just wish there was more shade but I realize this is a journey. Great overnight stop and bathrooms were clean. Would be good for an extended stay as well.

Great campground, friendly staff, plenty of hot water at the showers and very clean. Shore power showed an open neutral fault on both my power protection plugs and the man sent out to repair it changed the panel and showed me there was power there but blew off the fact that somewhere in that circuit there is a fault that needs correcting. In all, still a great park.

Pool was not open, it was August!! Have a feeling it hasn’t been opened at all this year. Park was ok but nothing that would cause us to come back. Utilities all worked, but wifi was a waste. If you’re going to offer wifi you had better make sure it’s capable of the service needed. Front desk at check in wasn’t friendly, acted like it was bothering her to check us in. Would not come a

Disappointing- the pool was not opened and although we could have had a campsite without cable, we selected a cable site because we wanted to watch the Olympics. NBC (the Olympic station) did not work. When I asked at the office, they acted like it was temporary, it could come back on at any time. I wasn't sure they believed it. When we left the next morning, it was still not working.

We really liked our stay at this Joplin KOA. We arrived slightly after hours and were still greeted and escorted to our campsite site. When we called in to make reservations we were given the choice of staying in a shaded area or with no trees. The grounds were well kept and clean. We will be back! Thank you to the owners for keeping camping fun!

Super well organized staff.. the park is convenient and well appointed. Nice large dog play area.. The playground for children is good sized and safe..

Nice park with large pull thru sites. Has alot of wooded park area. There is a lake and a pond where you can feed the fish with food supplied by the park. Nice laundry and large restrooms. They will also deliver a pizza to your site for a fee. Close to everything. Would have given 5 stars but check out time is 10am. Haven't seen an RV park with such an early check out.
