KOAs are a known quality RV place. Sometimes the wifi is wanting and the dog parks are small. Joplin was very good. My wife and I are road zombies and we like it simple.

Just overnight but easy access and nice sites. Some activities for kids, like feeding fish at one of the ponds.

We were getting some laundry out of our car & some man shouted that we were in the middle of the road. I said we'd be done on a minute & no one was on the same road. The next day I saw him again and politely asked him if he was the one who shouted. He said yes because our car was in the middle of the road. I told him he shouldn't shout at paying customers. He replied with "whatever".

lots of rain and roads had large potholes. spaces were narrow getting out you were on wet grass and or water.

Run down, unkept and oh yeah, let’s say we have a swimming pool even though it hasn’t been open and cleaned for a few years!!!

Stayed one night so I am glad we had a spot. We were parked next to an abandoned camper that should be in a dump. Didn’t appreciate that. The camping sites had two areas. Our area not so great. Gooo on d for a night stop.

Seems like no pride is taken in this place. Dirty, weeds, closed pool, playground in a sorry condition. The entire row of camping RVs in our section lost power. This place needs some work! At least bathrooms were decent and right off the interstate.

Nice shaded area, has had lots a rain, area does not drain well, level spaces with gravel that drain ok. bathroom shower heads need cleaning to remove mildew. staff was excellent and very helpful. very quite and peaceful.

Fine, quiet stay. Got needed rest. I'm a retired trucker so I was enjoying the Petro truckstop.

Honestly I would never come back to this KOA. They have been letting the grounds go for years. We could smell sewer a lot of the time and had to keep our lines closed so we could breathe. They had the pool closed and it was in disrepair, a total eye sore. Lastly the WiFi they provide is a joke. I was constantly getting kicked off. Clean up your act!

Staff was very nice and the site functioned well. The site could use a mower. grass was high and the camper next to us was a long term camper. Old , dirty and showing its age. For the price I was expecting a bit more.

Nice place the only compliant I have is the pool was closed due to maintenance and no basketball courts. The bathrooms were clean the camp site was surrounded by trees which was a beautiful scenery.

Passing threw and spent the night. Very quiet, all hooks working fine. Will recommend and next time in area will plan to stay again.

The camp was clean, though the place is in need of some updating. Showers were clean but also could use a little update. All in all the stay was awesome!

Older KOA, but in pretty good shape. Had clean bathrooms & we were in he back away from the freeway so it was quietish. Only criticism was no cover on the spot’s septic but we dumped successfully & I guess that’s a plus.

The Joplin KOA was a FANTASTIC experience for our family of 6. We were traveling across country and stopped in for only one night, but it was a great place for the kids to get their wiggles out along our way. The dog run, fish pond, and playground made for a fun and entertaining experience for the kids, and the large, flat sites made setting up and tearing down quickly a breeze!

we came in after the office had closed and were expecting to find an envelope with instructions but no envelope was there. if it wasnt for the guy on the golf cart to help us we would have not been able to use the restrooms/showers and we would have had to guess where to park

Clean and tidy campground in a very convenient location, with a personable location. However, had a rude encounter with a permanent resident who told me not to walk with my dogs (heeling and on 6’ leashes) on the edge of the road. But the next morning her dogs were off leash and barking. Too bad - this encounter is my only reason for a 3*.

Everything was great, minus the pool. We saw two turtles and one deer near the back holding pond. DONT swim in the pond!!!

Quick off and on the highway, lots are close and the 30 amp circuit will some time kick off and needs to be reset.

GREAT park. But if you have pets the grass is spurg and our dogs were covered in burres. No pets you will love this park.

Unhappy that pool was closed, apparently for a long time. Also highway noise was pretty bad at night. Dog park was way too small. You had plenty of land so no idea why the play area wasn’t larger.

Super well organized staff.. the park is convenient and well appointed. Nice large dog play area.. The playground for children is good sized and safe..

Nice park with large pull thru sites. Has alot of wooded park area. There is a lake and a pond where you can feed the fish with food supplied by the park. Nice laundry and large restrooms. They will also deliver a pizza to your site for a fee. Close to everything. Would have given 5 stars but check out time is 10am. Haven't seen an RV park with such an early check out.
