Nice, pretty campground. Lots of trees, some spaces look a little tricky to get in and out.

I enjoyed staying at the cabin overlooking the pond. I have one recommendation about the fire pit. It was available, but it was behind the cabin. I think they should figure out a way to put a firepit on the deck that overlooks the pond. Then everything would be perfect!

The site was nice and shady. The grounds are manicure nicely, the pond view was relaxing. Pool and play areas are well maintained. The general store carried a variety of food, personal care supplies and RV maintenance items. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It is close to several activities at Land between the Lakes and the KY Dam. Incredibly happy with our visit there.

The staff was absolutely amazing! Every question we asked they had an answer. The sites are very difficult to get in and out of (very tight). The playground area could really use some updating and the bath house as well. It's a great stopping point but I wouldn't stay long term there.

I only stayed one night but the location was perfect, check in was great and site easily accessible.. Camp host was awesome..

Site was 2.5 feet out of level front to back. This park is not big rig friendly. Staff was nice but refused to move us to another site. Glad it was a one night stay or we would have left.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The site is not 2.5' out of level it is 8" from front to back in 69'. Campground is big rig friendly. We have 10 sites that accommodate big rigs. If there would have been another site to move you to we would have been more than happy to.

Hard to access sites. Electric hook up was coming loose and there were wasps all around it and site not level.

I love this KOA. The pool is great, bathrooms are clean and the staff is AMAZING! Everyone is so friendly. Calvert City is a great little town, close to lakes, and shopping. We will be back!

Nice helpful staff. Campground is hilly and our site was on gravel and not too level. Was able to stay hooked to our toad which was helpful.

One night. We didn't have a reservation but Betty worked her magic and got us in. Beautiful and quiet park. Lots of shade plenty of room between sites. Will stay again.

Called about 10 days before to change our reservation. We were given a space number and everything. When we got there the space was given to someone else and hadn’t changed the reservation in the computer. Not happy about that. Spaces other than “A” and the number 1 are pretty tight. Beautiful and quiet.

Campground was clean and well taken care of. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem I saw was that the pool closed at 5 and it was really warm weather while we were there. Will definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful KOA!!! We would not hesitate to stay here again. In fact,looking for a reason to go back! Bruce and Nancy were great hosts. They keep the grounds looking great and are very sweet and accommodating. The pool was clean and a very comfortable temp. Our site was a pull thru and beautiful setting looking out over the water. The K9 park was very nice and kept mowed and clean. 5 STARS

We booked at the last minute for July 4th weekend. When we arrive I realized I screwed up my reservation. Within 20 minutes they were able to get me into a great site that worked for us, the owners were awesome. Very nice rustic CG sites are little unlevel but had no issue leveling. Internet was good, cable TV was excellent. Would definitely stay here again

Very friendly and courteous staff. Clean campground. Sites are gravel and not flat. Take extra leveling blocks. Amenities are good. Store needs more items. But stores close by.

Our only compliant, albeit small, is the shower rooms. They are kept clean and orderly, no issues there, but there needs to be much more exhaust in them. During our visit, we were sweating more after we took showers than before. There just needs to be more ventilation in them. Campground was clean.

Poorly taken care of location. I remember staying at a koa as a child and having the best memories. However, I took my kids and there is nothing for them to do but swim in a dirty pool. The playground was broken the arcade is a storage building and no activities were going on. I will not choose koa again for my family.

We are a KOA Journey and have less amenities then a KOA Holiday or Resort. Not sure where the dirty pool comment comes from because that is flat out not true.

The lush green grass and trees were beautiful. We really enjoyed the pool and dog park! The playground needs a bit of attention. Loved it!

Campground was well kept. Nice shower facility. Onsite laundry is handy. Staff was excellent and helpful. Many of the sites are very small. Some sites are difficult to maneuver. Uneven sites could use some levelling out.

My grand kids and I really enjoyed our two night stay in cabin 2. They love the pool and the staff were very helpful in helping us plan our trip to the land between the lakes. We had a awesome time and hope to get to visit again sometime. Thank you for helping make our summer adventure a success. Robin Crabtree, Faith and Uriah. Hope next time to be able to bring grandpa along!

Very friendly and helpful staff and clean and well maintained location. Some sites are entered or exited from an incline and the entire campground is on varying terrain which may be challenging for inexperienced drivers. The sites are level and well shaded. The grounds very pretty, somewhat secluded, and well shaded. I would stay here again.

This was a one night on the way to TN because we were at the top of the hill we were able to make it work. I planned to stay here one day on the way back home too. Upon arrival I realized that the campground was VERY hilly and I could see an issue with getting my 40’ 5ver down the hill into the unleveled site and then back up the steep hill. I called to stay at the top and the man was VERY rude.

Super easy Reservations and the owner was awesome.. they had a wind storm just before we got there, so they were all out cleaning up the sticks that fell down... amazingly clean place. We had to extend our stay a few nights and the owner was very accommodating. Close to a few places to eat and the Mexican restaurant down the street delivers. Nice grocery store just a couple miles away.

The location was quiet and clean. We arrived late in the evening and our paperwork was available and easy to find for our check in. The best part of this KOA is the management, we ran out of propane in the middle of the night. I called the number on the main door and Bruce answered. He was kind, understanding, and helpful. He met me at the fill up sight and got us all set back up. We will most definitely be returning!
