Had a great overnight stay. A picnic table would have been helpful at my tent camping site, but I got by okay. Plan to return. Very friendly management.

Beautiful campground, friendly and helpful staff. Tent sites seem to be a bit of an after thought, while close to amenities, they are on a hill with tree roots and sleeping on an incline. I would stay there again but would like to see tent pads or level sites.

Bad tent site, dirt with hard tree roots sticking up, only site with shade. Sites too close together, noisy trucks on road in the night. Only one bath house, far away. Had to leave with storm coming in, we knew our site would be turned to mud. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We are tenters. The campground large trash can is right next to the tent sites. Could it be moved near the pool or somewhere other than next to the campers with no walls?

Poorly taken care of location. I remember staying at a koa as a child and having the best memories. However, I took my kids and there is nothing for them to do but swim in a dirty pool. The playground was broken the arcade is a storage building and no activities were going on. I will not choose koa again for my family.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are a KOA Journey and have less amenities then a KOA Holiday or Resort. Not sure where the dirty pool comment comes from because that is flat out not true.

We were happy to be accommodated as a last minute reservation (tent) on the Independence Day Weekend for one quick stopover to sleep.

The bathrooms were disgusting!! there was no fan or light switches that we could use, they are switches that only the landlord has access to use. The tent sites that we rented were not marked and we arrived in the dark, it was very frustrating and very difficult to find.

We reserved a pull though site via KOA's online system, which was confirmed by email. When we arrived we were told we reserved a tent site. The manager was visibly angry and implied we were trying to save $5/night. Arrangements were made for a back in site, and we were charged an extra $5 per night even though it was a KOA error. Would have been a major issue had we been a late arrival.

Very peaceful little campground. Impressively clean bathrooms and a great tent camping area. Staff is very welcoming as well, 10/10 in my books!

I got in really late on Friday evening and the reservation was easily found on the lodge door. I found my tent spot easily. I got reasonably good sleep and got up in the morning felling fine for the road trip to the next KOA spot near El Reno, Oklahoma. Since I paid online for reservation, I did not have to drop by the lodge office for check out and could be on my way with social distancing. Blake

Restrooms and showers were just about destroyed. Giant hole in the ceiling. One step up from a national park restroom.

Men’s restroom had poor lighting and needed ceiling repair. Also needed additional lighting on the grounds—very dark and difficult to see to and from showers. Personnel were gracious.

My family tent camped and had a great time! We were blessed to have a spot close to the bathrooms and enjoyed watching the fountain on the little fishing pond, especially when it got dark. The employees were super friendly and helpful and even brought our firewood right to our campsite - both times we purchased some. I loved that the campgrounds were super close to Kentucky Lake as well!

We stayed at 8 different KOAs during our 2 week camping trip. This was our favorite. The campground is beautiful, perfectly maintained, bathrooms clean, and Nancy was FABULOUS! She was so helpful and informative!

The wifi did not reach to L21 tent site. I wouldn't have requested a site with electricity if I had know that. Traffic was really loud too. Campground and activities available were awesome. Bathrooms very clean.

Nice location, close to food, supplies, etc. Proprietors were friendly. Clean shower and toilet areas. Good experience overall.

I stayed in a tent campsite and there is a home with two very bright lights which shine over that part of the campground all night– its unfortunate. This campground is also very near a busy road so there is a significant amount of road noise. The attendant who came by to check on me as I was getting set up was very polite.

I highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a clean, well maintained, beautiful place to camp. It is really great for campers with dogs. Our dogs really enjoyed their stay there. We especially liked the little fenced in dog park at the site. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Great place to stay.

Super easy Reservations and the owner was awesome.. they had a wind storm just before we got there, so they were all out cleaning up the sticks that fell down... amazingly clean place. We had to extend our stay a few nights and the owner was very accommodating. Close to a few places to eat and the Mexican restaurant down the street delivers. Nice grocery store just a couple miles away.

The location was quiet and clean. We arrived late in the evening and our paperwork was available and easy to find for our check in. The best part of this KOA is the management, we ran out of propane in the middle of the night. I called the number on the main door and Bruce answered. He was kind, understanding, and helpful. He met me at the fill up sight and got us all set back up. We will most definitely be returning!
