General Campground Information

What is KOA’s National Cancellation Guideline?

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.Cancellation Deadlines:
  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

Cancellation Details:
  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  • Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
  • No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
  • The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  • Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements.

General Rules

Parents are responsible for their children's behavior at all times. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area. Other pool rules are posted for your review. Generators may not be used in campground. Washing of carts or RV's is not allowed in the park. Clotheslines are not allowed. Open fires only in approved charcoal grills and must be attended. Speed limit in park is 5MPH. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. (Winter Office Hours are 8am to 6pm Nov. thru March.)

Visitor Policy

We ask that all guests in our park notify visitors to please stop by the office before entering the Park.
 A car pass will be issued to be placed inside the vehicle while visiting guests.
Each guest over the age of 8 will be charged a $ 5.00 visitor fee.

Pet Policy

Some breeds (for insurance purposes) are not permitted. Documentation of rabies vaccinations may be requested. Please call the Office if you have questions. We do allow up to 2 pet in designated accommodations for an additional $10.00 fee (Cabins, Lodges, etc..). We ask that anyone with a pet adhere to our Campground Rules so that everyone will have a great time!

Firewood Policy

Firewood is available for purchase in our store for use in the campground fire rings. If your require fire wood after the Store has closed please put money in an envelope and drop in drop box located by front door night registration.

CAMPGROUND PHOTOGRAPHY

Kingman KOA Journey does take pictures of events on the campground of our campers and activities. Staying at Kingman KOA Journey gives the campground permission to use pictures of adults and children (or children/ward) taken in a photograph, digital image, videotape, motion picture, and/or testimonial (written words). Staying at Kingman KOA Journey releases its agents or employees, as well as any and all users and exhibitors of said pictures, from any and all claims, demands, accountings, and causes for which the aforesaid videotape, testimonial, motion picture, digital image, or photograph likeness may be used pursuant to this Consent and General Release.

It is also the camper's understanding that they will receive no compensation for their likeness or testimonial.

Laundry room

A Laundry Room is on-site and is located in the front of the Store (check in Office) building. The laundry room is open the same hours as the Store. Quarters for the washers and dryers are available at the Front Desk - please note cash for quarters exchange only.  We're unable to accept credit card transactions in exchange for quarters. The cost is $2.00 per laundry load and $2.00 for a drying cycle. Laundry detergent is sold in the Store.

Quiet Hours

Quiet Hours are from 10 pm until 8am.
If arriving late or leaving early we ask that you please be respectful of your neighbors.

Personal Space

We ask that you respect other campers space, please do not walk through RV sites that are occupied. Please remain on the campground roads and follow the map to your designated site. Avoid driving through unoccupied RV sites as each site is prepared each day for arriving guests.

Speed limit

For the safety of our guests, pets and staff, our 5 mph speed limit throughout the campground is strictly enforced.  Thank you for making it safe for all.

Pool Policy

Glass containers are not permitted in the pool area. No lifeguard on duty. Children under 16 must be accompanied by parent or guardian. We hope you and your family enjoy the pool and Jacuzzi.

Tent Sites

Tent sites are reserved for tent camping only. Please contact the office with any questions.

Hours of Operation, check-in and check-out, etc

We are open year-round to greet our guests.  Our office, store and gift shop are open at 8 am with closing hours varying by season.  General Store Hours are posted at the Office Store.  Laundry opens at the same time as the store and the last load must be started 1 hour before closing. The pool and hot tub are open year round weather permitting. Pool and Hot Tub Hours: 9 am to 9 pm, May through Labor Day, 9 am to 8 pm during winter months.  RV site check-in is 1:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am.  Lodge, Bungalow and Cabin check-in is 3:00 pm or after and check-out is 11:00 am. We have a self-check-in located at the front of the store for guests arriving after hours with or without reservations.
