Very nice and clean. We stayed on site #P33 which was wide, shaded & had full hook ups. A nice view too!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My kids had a blast! The pool was freezing and the playground area had a lot of trash on the ground. It was a nice change of scenery.

Wonderful stay. Very pleasant hosts, well kept and clean facilities. Very spacious site with firepit, picnic table, and water. Lovely views of the mountains and great for star gazing.

Because of the China flu, few amenities where available in the are (not KOA fault). We were camped behind the office/bathroom and every time someone went in/out, the door slammed, disturbing our experience, especially during quiet hours. Look for a different closing mechanism.

We appreciated the laid back environment. KOA Staff didn’t make you feel like they were there to supervise but were around to assist if needed. Property was clean and the amenities were convenient.

Staff were very friendly, helpful amd professional. This is my second time staying there and both times were very good. Nice to see lots od other campers there as well. Staff are taking care of the grounds, trash etc, Recommend this KOA campgrounds,

Rv sites were not up kept and maintained. Lots of debris and uneven ground. Trees were very low and hit our trailers. Some 15amp plugs at camp site don't work. Playground needs repair for the safety of children. Bathroom toilets didn't work very well and showers were slow

First night was loud until 1am. If I wanted to hear loud music I can go to a bar or lounge, didn’t expect it from a camping area. Some campers did not follow quiet time. Second night was better everything was quiet by 1030pm.

The worst place/management The promise to my kids Sunday pancakes and give them a bracelet to get them and guess what:( rhey dont serve them anymore, why the front desk promised if the dont do it. Quiet hours its a joke, had people with amplified music until 1 am on Saturday oct 10 They are racist since they didn’t say anything to the loud white people but they kick me out of the pool area d

Great campsite,with the feeling that you’re escaping the city, and still can have the comforts of home. Wish the pool was open year round, then I would stay all the time.

Our stay was very nice. We enjoyed the cabin and the beds were comfortable. The children enjoyed the pool, playground, and the splash pad, and the Friday evening free ice cream was so nice after our long drive from Los Angeles. The staff were also very pleasant. We had stayed here before, but in a tent. I think we will stay in a cabin from now on. Thank you Kern River KOA for a nice experience.

We had an awesome time, I loved it that there things to do for each of the children my younger nephew and grandson enjoyed the play area and the splash pad, my older children and nephews enjoyed the pool and my dogs loved the bark park,this was the best family camping trip.Thank you and God Bless You

The staff was great very friendly and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed the ice cream social and the pancake breakfast. The grounds were very clean. It’s very dry there, full of dirt and very far from town. It’s not close to the lake or the river So if you’re going up make sure you have a extra car so you can get around.

Cute cowboy themed park; needs a little TLC but love the theme.. hope it stays after the remodel. The grandkids loved it as well. THe center area with sinks and stoves for campers is an amazing bonus. I saw many campers utilizing throughout the weekend. Love the little things like ice cream social and pancake breakfast. Wish they had the movie night as well. Makes for a great family place

Stayed there probably 15 years ago and it was horrible, it was a beer bar with a half assed KOA, this trip I was very pleasantly surprised, clean, nice staff, and greatly improved sites and properly maintained, I will be back a lot more frequently.

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins and had a great time. The cabin itself was in mostly great shape. There were a couple of small things about the inside of the cabin that needed some maintenance. The hinges on the wardrobe in the bedroom were in need of repair, and the table out on the porch/deck area of the cabin needed to be repaired or replaced. But overall, the experience was really good.

Everything was fine until my family wanted to get the pancake breakfast. The paperwork we were given stated the breakfast was from 0800 - 0930 hrs. When I went up a few minutes before 0900, the guy in front of me was given more than 1 pancake per person (and the KOA employee could surely see I was there). Minor issue but the KOA employee became defensive saying it ended at 0900. Bad business.

Staff was very friendly and we were able to get a spot at the last minute. Site is nice and a great place to camp! Loved the pancake breakfast on Sunday.

We enjoyed our time staying at the KOA campsite. And access to the store for needed items. Also we enjoy going up to Lake Isabella and Kernville and driving up the Kern River to McNally‘s hamburger place.

Loved our stay. Great staff and customer service. The dog park could use an upgrade with a patch of grass. Sewer hook up needs to be lowered in the spot we were in. Grounds are well cared for. Great atmosphere and I would stay here again. Thanks

2nd weekend in a row...staff 10+, bathrooms...not so much and there was zero enforcement of quiet hour both Fri and Sat evening, as a result it was noisey and very disruptive until nearly 1am on Sat...rating 3..would be a 4 if not for the great staff.

No RV channels. No cable available. Not good for me. Appears there was cable there at one time because it was half torn from the ground on our site and those around us.

We had planned a trip to Balch Park for the weekend and with the Fires in that area and all other State Campgrounds closed. Lake Isabella was a great choice since it’s only 45 minutes away. We didn’t know that the Lake was closed for fishing and kayaking but we had a great time. The campground was clean and our camping neighbors were great!! We plan on coming back.

The staff was exceptional, very kind, helpful, couldn't ask for better customer service. My timing was bad due to fires, smoke, and heat wave and covid. The cabin was in good condition, (camping cabin), and the pool was clean. The bathrooms were always clean. The playground did not look safe for children, and needs an upgrade. All in all clean and friendly..

We got there to check-in and the weather was super hot and the air quality was very poor from the fires that had filtered in - which was not avoidable for the KOA facility. But we noticed that there was a lot of people in the pool and around it (due to the heat) and there was no social distancing in the whole area. We decided to leave due to this. We will not be back or ever use this facility.
