The most unpleasant host and crew, except one at the front office. Used to be clean, enjoyable place for a family to go. Guest making noise till 1:00 AM using cuss words, manager doing nothing; claiming he is not responsible for the actions of others. Reservations a mess. All blame each other rather taking responsibilities.This was not the first time at this site. Shame on KOA having such a site.

The staff was nice. The park could stand a little more upkeep. We were promised a spot with shade and got the only one without it. All in all, no huge complaints. It served our purpose.

Decent camp ground. Far enough away but not to far from Kernville and river. Can use some renovations, maybe more controlled access for security. Camp host’s were very pleasant and personable. I enjoyed my Overall stay.

The KOA was very run down. We had our dogs with us and even though there was a small fenced in area for them, the poop bag dispenser was empty and so was the water tank. People did not pick up after their pets. Considering we were there for 4 days there was plenty of time for staff to refill both of thos items but nothing was done. The campground is not clean. There was trash along the perimeter.

Staff were very professional and friendly and always willing to help. It was nice to see them going around the campsites to make sure that everything was clean and when they are run around they would talk to him see how you doing, if you needed anything. Campsite was nice and clean well managed. My only drawback was all dirt and with 2 little dogs you know they brought the dirt in lol.

The setup is nice and I will definitely return if I'm headed that way. I only used the public restroom twice and the toilets are clogged and not very clean. Otherwise, nice facilities and the employees are very friendly and helpful.

Full hook ups was great. Had a spot with trees so made it nice for shade. Bathrooms are not kept clean. People in my group wanted to use the sink and said the bathrooms are very dirty. Staff seemed to be very friendly and helpful.

The staff was very friendly and great at check in. The campground was clean. Quiet time didn't appear to be enforced, as one party was doing karaoke late at night. Very large groups were gathering, riding quads within the campground at an unsafe speed, and cars parked all over blocking the roads. Would not return with small children again.

. I especially enjoyed Sadie at the front desk, as she was very friendly and helpful. The campsites were fairly well maintained. All staff were very responsive, helpful and informative. The day staff at the front desk could be a little more familiar with the area. appreciate all the available amenities in the campground, such as water, LPG and ice. Ice did run out. Dog poop was not policed.

The place is not well maintained. Spots are really small. It’s only one small crowded pool for the amount of people camping. There is not nothing around to go hiking (all fenced) A car is definitely needed (for RV’ers) to move around since there is no shuttles or local transport. Maybe I went with a very different expectation (like the one in the picture above this page...)

We have been visiting for years, but this time it was different. There was a group of about 20 people occupying the 2 sites next to us. One site had a trailer and the other site had a giant tent, smaller tent and 2 cars in that one tiny spot. Needless to say, it was difficult for us to park at our site because of all of the people/ vehicles next to us. Same group was up until 2:30am.

This site is JUST of the main highway and is very dusty due to the dirt roads. The local amenities were VERY limited. The Miracle Hot Springs were really nice as was the river. Local knowledge by the staff was also limited to one person which was a little frustrating.

While I appreciated the ability to select the actual site when we arrived, I was somewhat surprised that, as a KOA campground, it lacked in quality for the value. So much--and I believe at a reasonable cost--could be done to make this a premier location. It certainly has the makings of one!

This was a horrible experience, quite terrorizing to be kicked out after 10pm with my 5 year old sleeping. No hotels were open and we ended up, after driving around for two hours at a camp site near the lake. I also have not received a refund for the additional days we should have been at the campsite.

The bathrooms are awful! We were also unlucky enough to have a very sunny spot with a dead tree instead of shade. We still had a fun time and the kids loved the pool.

I was very disappointed with the appearance as soon as we drove up. Restrooms and shower area were very dirty. The staff was very friendly, which was a positive.

We had an amazing time at this site, The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The area from the pool to the bathrooms were very clean. It was our first experiencing pulling a camper the staff was very friendly and exchanged our spot to another for easy access, they helped us to find local areas to take the grandchildren to for site seeing. We all can't wait to return.

Loved all the amenities!! Perfect for kids. Clean and well-kept! Pancake breakfast was perfect, our shady campsite was awesome and the staff were very nice and accommodating, making very helpful suggestions to better our stay!!

We had a good time. Very kid friendly. Although the sites pretty much sit right on top of each other, so no room or privacy whatsoever. The playground looks to be over 50 years old. They should really consider replacing them if they don't want a child getting hurt. Kind of messy for a KOA. Fellow campers will leave trash laying around. Doesn't help that its pretty much windy all day.

We ended up not staying the night. We dumped our sewage. Refilled our tank, took a shower, and decided to go camp at red rocks instead. Wasn’t for us. But it looked like other families were enjoying themselves.

The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The pool needs more chlorine and chemicals, as it didn’t look like or smell like there was much chlorine. But that aside, the splash pad was fun, the playground was fun, and the camp sites were fantastic!

I was very disappointed with this campground. We like to stay at KOAs because they are always clean and the people are friendly, unfortunately this is not the case for this campground. It was not well kept, the pool was cloudy and the staff was not helpful and at times rude. We were continually loosing power and the store was not stocked with essential summer supplies like ice.

the stay was great & very friendly, the only draw back was that 30amp RV's were booked into the 50amp sites, leaving those of us that really need to have 50amp connection stuck with dealing with a 30amp connection & brown out conditions with voltages getting below 105volt, which turns off my electrical system for safety

The staff here at the KOA Lake Isabella were amazing. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They took pride in everything they did. Thanks for everything. We will be back. From the Joiners.

Treesneed cutting back.Hang too low and make backing into spots difficult without hitting air conditioners. Power recepticle (30 amp) could not handle 25 or higher amps. I have a power shredder and surge protector that monitors current draw. Recepticle was also damage. People were nice to deal with but some maintenance needs to be done to be comparable to other KOA campgrounds.

We stayed for 7 days. Staff is very friendly. The campsite and campground area is poorly maintained. To start it's a dirt bowl, common road areas need to have some sort of aggregate down. Campsite 14 had issues with the sewer and electrical hookup. The pool was dirty 90% of the time could never see our legs or the bottom while swimming. Swim benches had bird poop that never got cleaned off.

When I booked I noticed it didn’t say anything about BBQ’s I called and I was told that each site had one. When I arrived the spot didn’t have one so I called the office and they said only the camp sites have one and not the RV sites. Then we Hooke up the dirty water hose and the drain was backing up. I walked up to the office and they were going to send someone. About an hour later
