The campsites are so close together that my sister and I felt uncomfortable staying there. We ended up moving to a different campsite so that our site wasn't six feet away from a stranger's tent. It turned out ok for our one night stay but would never recommend it to anyone looking to go on a fun camping trip. Very disappointed in this place

Quiet hours were not enforced. Loud music and talking into the night both nights. We barely slept. Also, on a busy holiday weekend, the bathrooms should have been cleaned hourly. They got pretty gross. I appreciated the shade and the kids had a great time and enjoyed the pancake breakfast. Still better than the forest service campgrounds in the area.

Stayed two nights. Windy in the afternoon and early evenings, but the campground was nice and we had a good time. I am planning on returning for another visit.

We had 3 sites and a large group, our only issue is with only one bathroom for it to be closed for cleaning for one hour is a long time when you have 9 small children. Plus the tpaper was not stocked thur out the day.

The staff was extremely helpful & pleasant, from the first phone call through the end of our stay. The weekend was very busy, but all campers were respectful of each other which made it super relaxing. Some things are being repaired/upgraded, but that did not affect our enjoyment at all. It is obvious they care about the facility & their campers. We will definitely come back again!

I started camping this year and have been to five campgrounds so far. Lake Isabella KOA blew out the competition from every aspect. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, amazing amenities, and clean restrooms. Have already recommend to family and friends.

Staff was very friendly. The tent site was right next to the highway and on a hard dirt surface.

Horrible. Bathrooms are disgusting and never cleaned. Shower barely even works, the drains don’t drain when showering.

Stayed over the weekend. I love staying here, safe, clean bathrooms, very nice camp staffs. Thank you KOA lake Isabelle for having us this pass weekend. I’ll be back soon. Stay Awesome!

The actual tent site I stayed at was nice and roomy. But the issue for me were the facilities. Bathrooms had no toilet paper in the stalls. Out of three bathroom sink areas One had hand soap. (One dispenser was missing and the second was empty), first shower stall I�� used The drain clogged and flooded the stall, the second one the tiles were broken and coming up causing a hazard.

Facilities were adequate, Lake Isabella is not a place I would likely visit for recreation,for one night camping while driving in it was gine

The staff were very friendly and informative. Every time we went to the store, my kids and I felt very welcomed in and they were so kind and helpful since we have never been there to camp . Will visit there again

We stayed in a tent site & it was super windy making setup extremely difficult. Moreover, our site was right on the highway and only protected by a 3 ft tall cement wall so we didn’t feel very secure. The staff was kind & helpful i just wouldn’t recommend staying here in a tent!

Nice desert mountain view at the back yard . Decent Wi-Fi . Road noise at night and early morning when cars passing by . Shower drainage problem during my stay .

Restrooms were not well maintained. Rest is great. I like the views of the mountains from the campground and also the kamper kitchen.

Our stay was wonderful, the staff was great and very friendly, there was lots of space on our site, and the KOA is close to the lake and not a far drive from some beautiful views. even with covid restrictions we felt welcome and very comfortable and I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun I had and how cool of a place it was.

Excellent and very friendly staff. Jackie was very accommodating. Called ahead to inform we would be arriving very late. She made sure we had fire wood when we arrived at camp.

There is should be someone from the office to enforce or to remind campers about quiet time around campground at the beginning of quiet time at night.

Wonderful stay. Very pleasant hosts, well kept and clean facilities. Very spacious site with firepit, picnic table, and water. Lovely views of the mountains and great for star gazing.

First night was loud until 1am. If I wanted to hear loud music I can go to a bar or lounge, didn’t expect it from a camping area. Some campers did not follow quiet time. Second night was better everything was quiet by 1030pm.

The worst place/management The promise to my kids Sunday pancakes and give them a bracelet to get them and guess what:( rhey dont serve them anymore, why the front desk promised if the dont do it. Great campsite,with the feeling that you’re escaping the city, and still can have the comforts of home. Wish the pool was open year round, then I would stay all the time.

We had an awesome time, I loved it that there things to do for each of the children my younger nephew and grandson enjoyed the play area and the splash pad, my older children and nephews enjoyed the pool and my dogs loved the bark park,this was the best family camping trip.Thank you and God Bless You

We had planned a trip to Balch Park for the weekend and with the Fires in that area and all other State Campgrounds closed. Lake Isabella was a great choice since it’s only 45 minutes away. We didn’t know that the Lake was closed for fishing and kayaking but we had a great time. The campground was clean and our camping neighbors were great!! We plan on coming back.

We got there to check-in and the weather was super hot and the air quality was very poor from the fires that had filtered in - which was not avoidable for the KOA facility. But we noticed that there was a lot of people in the pool and around it (due to the heat) and there was no social distancing in the whole area. We decided to leave due to this. We will not be back or ever use this facility.

My family and I had a good time. The place was nice, clean, bathrooms were desent (no lines), everyone was wearing a mask . Honeslty, we felt very safe, in leaving our stuff while we explored the river.The only thing is that the air quality was poor from the Northern fires. I will defenetely be back to this camp ground. Staff was super friendly and nice.
