We enjoyed the tent camping sites being near the lake. But, the tent camp sites were very steep hills and zero flat spots, besides where you put the tent. Definitely not little kid/elderly friendly.

Only stayed one night in a travel trailer. Park was clean. However the electrical post needed eating and repositioned, the bath/shower for our area was small and not in the best shape.

I rate a Park harshly. This place is a great place to relax for a few days. The playgrounds need to be updated. Pools look like fun for the summer.

My stay wasn’t longgggggg enough! I could truly get used to the area. EVERYTHING was amazing! The staff was very helpful & professional. The evening check in employee was very busy, but handled us all in an excellent manner! This is my new relaxing get-a-way spot

The staff went way out of there way to assist us when our truck had a breakdown and ended up in a shop for repairs.

Stayed in Lott 95 and we were very happy with the spot. The evening attendant was very helpful to us getting to our site and getting setup.

Campground isn't taken care of The lady we always talked to at the front desk was always rude And she let us know about the extra $20 a night pet charge after we were already there so we were charged an extra $60 for three nights she was rude and told us that we had to pay it No where in and paperwork or material they have does it mention this charge So beware of this extra charge will not be back

Hubby and I are on a 9 day travel mission that is taking us from the coast of NC to CA valley. We needed a trip full of Pull-Thru one night stops with easy on and off’s to highways. Lake Oconee filled that requirement and then some. Beautiful grounds, comfortable distance between campsites coupled with very accommodating staff, friendly campers too! All this and quiet too. We’ll be back.

My husband and I love this KOA. Always a fun stay. We'll return. One issue on this trip: kids riding big wheels early morning - all day. Not much parental supervision and allowing young kid (maybe 3) to be supervised by very young kids. Lots of falls, tears/screaming. As we left the park, a group of 6-8 kids congregating in middle of the road. They didn't want to move even as we waited.

We loved it! Guest and staff very friendly. Our air condition broke and they had it fixed in less than 10 minutes! We will be back!

It was an ok campground - site i had was kinda unlevel and kind of dirty but staff was nice and views were pretty

The personnel were extremely helpful and kind. The lot we had had a beautiful view. The overall infrastructure needs some improvements for higher ratings. Again, the personnel were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Thanks

Very nice campground with great amenities. Guest services were very helpful, even to directing us backing into site. The picnic table was in bad shape and on a slope, so not usable. Need to adjust to i20 road noise. Otherwise would definitely stay there again.

Very surprised no cable TV and no broadcast either. Great dog yard, most beautiful lakeside view ever but 6” of mud for a driveway on those lakeside sites is unacceptable. What good is a concrete patio if it fills with mud every time it rains?

Not a camp ground trailer park.place we stayed in had to go buy blocks to level my camper. Will give the staff a thumbs up but not the place I would stay again

We had a nice site with a level concrete pad, a wood deck, and a picnic table. Full hook up. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The WiFi was much better than most campgrounds, we were able to stream the news and tv shows.

Estuvo muy bien, lo único que el k9 era solo uno y muy pequeño para tan grande parque. Algunos de los RV parking no estaban nivelados y la tienda muy pequeña. Pero fue muy agradable estar allí.

Due to the spot we were put in we didn't even stay our 2nd night. After trying to make some super tight turns on bad roads we were put in amongst several rows of seasonal campers. Campers on 2 sides looked like they had no recent upkeep. The lake is pretty but couldn't see any of it in our spot. No cable and too many trees for satelitte. Will definitely not choose this KOA again.

Love this KOA, North Shores on Lake Oconee. Sites are spacious, staff helpful and friendly. Plan to return next year.

The Caboose car was the reason we stayed and it was average. The novelty was great; view was great. Clean. Kitchen could be upgraded. My issue was with the park in general. Very run down and unappealing. Sports courts were sad; playgrounds okay although one near sports court is sad. Retaining walls around park falling apart; stairs missing. Beach needs sand. Permanent residents need to CLEAN UP!

Our lot was a good one. Didn't really like the curb appeal of some of the permanent sights. Rented a boat slip and it was rocky and too shallow. The people we camp with had a sight with some hard party goers late into the night. I understand they were reported with not much success.

Check in was smooth with minimal exposures to others. The facility roads are tight to negotiate and are a mix of weathered asphalt and dirt trails. Our assigned dirt site was extremely tight and required 6" of axle lift on one side. Their focus appears to be on sales of lots vs transient short term visits. Disappointing..

Quite possibly the worst camping stay ever! Site 74 is a hole that has wooden privacy fence around patio area. So you have view of fence. Surrounded by full time residents allowed to have junk everywhere and loud drunk country music karaoke until 3am, every 15 min was loud screams of“WHOOOOOOO”from drunkwoman. Did I say loud drunk party?! If drunk trailer trash is your thing, you’re in luck

We stayed in the Caboose. It was very clean. We loved it. The staff was very friendly. This was my first KOA experience and I am ready for another.
