Tent sites are right on the water but only 4 and super unsafe being so steep. Ants were terrible and we all got eaten up.

Beautiful place, with beautiful scenery. I found the game room and TV messy and a little dirty. The site that we got a little bad due to the cars that pass through the spring breaker and the noise it makes, it bothered me a little. But the staff are very friendly and courteous.

Excellent accommodation. We got stuck on I-20 for hours after a horrible accident blocked the highway. We arrived after hours and were taken in promptly. Thank you!

Terrible uneven site, painful to get in and out of the site, partying going on till 3am, would rather park my rv in a field

We were really pleased with the view from our caboose. The sunsets were amazing and with the beach & docks you had access to the lake. Would stay here again. One recommendation would be to put some wall hooks in bath & bedroom to hang clothes or towels.

Very pleasant place. Friendly golf cart staff. Would have liked closer to the lake to have been an option to reserve. Several empty places there during our stay. The walk up and down that steep Holl three times a day was killer.

Great place and staff, very clean with a beautiful view of the lake. . I arrived after hours and a very pleasant gentleman named Richard was there waiting for me and he even knew who I was before I told him . He took me to my site and was very helpful on letting me know where everthing was. I wish every K.O.A. had a person like Richard.

Checkout your site before backing in. Our rig was too long to back into an uphill, turned site. Damaged our step. The campground is beautiful and well maintained, but our site escort should have cautioned us.

Disappointed that the website indicated only one spot left that met our needs, but when we arrived there were multiple similar site available that were in more desirable locations than ours. Felt deceived

Our stay was very relaxing & quite. Other than the Wi-Fi being very slow & that this campground does not have cable tv available, I think it was just a tad over priced for the off season. We may give it another try in the future due to being very close & my husband likes to fish & there is a a boat launch & boat docks that you can also rent....but to me these docks are very run down.

The office staff was very accommodating during our stay. We had three different families involved in our stay. The staff was very understanding and helpful making changes to our campsites and and cabin stays when we requested. This helped to make the stay even more enjoyable.

Shower/bathroom next to our site (21) had no heat on a very cold day made it unusable. Site was on such a slope that we could not level properly.

Other than the constant rain the stay was great. Would like to come back and reserve a spot overlooking the lake.

The staff was great but the site was not level and needed much grave due to inclement weather nothing but a large mud pit!l Also had trouble with the site in front of us 272 where a RV hit the hook up for water and power causing our water �� to be shut off ��. This delayed our departure signicantly, I couldn't rinse tanks or draw fresh water.

People very nice. However there were plenty of open spots but we were parked on a muddy hill. The mud was so thick I had to put my truck in four wheel drive to hook up and leave.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff was helpful and courteous. Great view of the lake and sites are level. The bath house was dated and there seemed to be a lot of permanent residents with cluttered sites. Overall very good experience.

Everything was very clean. We brought coffee filters, but I feel a few should be provided. I would also like a small bar of soap in the shower. The last time we stayed, we froze, so this time we brought an extra blanket and sleeping bag. Please put a blanket on the bed along with the sheet and thin quilt in the winter. All in all this is a quiet, friendly, and safe place to stay. We'll be back.

The campground was nice enough, but we feel we were assigned the worst campsite (#21). Did not like being right next to the bathroom and laundry and because of a tree we could not use our awning.

We were in a pull through site but had to back up because of the sharp turn to get out and cars parked in the roadway. We did not spend time at the campsite. We were in town for a conference.

There were many open sites but I was put on one of the worst sites I have ever been on. Rate charged according to the website was for a site with a deck but I didn't have one and the pad was not large enough for my unit. I had to use 4 wheel drive to get in and out of the site due to the hill and angle. Staff there was great but the site was horrible.

Campground needs serious work, rotting wood rails, stairs to the lake rotted away or missing, water hookup was out for a 1/3 of the time we were there, front desk staff was not helpful, main firepit full of water and debris. Tried to make a purchase in the store twice but couldn't due to not enough staff or systems weren't working. RV pad very unlevel, etc. Wouldn't recommend this campground.

This campground was easy to find and very quiet. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We were surprised though to find how different it was from the other KOAs we have stayed in - many permanent residents (with many things around their RVs), a lack of things to do, and really general disarray. The campground desperately needs some repairs, updates, and attention to safety issues soon.

Only staying for one night and we’re put on a site with a giant hill despite other sites open. Guy backing us in allowed bumper and step to scrape two times trying to get in horrible spot. I insisted on a flatter spot which ended up working out. Also over priced for season and amenities. Won’t be coming back.

Dark if coming at night. Park design is Horrible Roads twist and turn. Not the place to bring a large trailer i Or come at night. So many tripping hazards everywhere. Richard was helpful guiding us into spot. $45 is quite a bit per night. doesnt look any any money is being put into amy improvements in park.

This KOA is very nice. There are a number of sites for RVs right on the lake and if you have a boat, there is a boat slip there as well. You can literally walk out of the RV down to the shore and get in the boat and fish. The camp is large and its good for walking the dogs. The staff at this campground are very friendly and accommodating and the motif of the railroad is really neat.

This was our first RV experience & we had a great time! The staff was very friendly & helpful from start to finish. Fred in particular was fantastic & very helpful! We already look forward to our next stay there!
