Our KOA Covered Patio Tent Site offers a premium camping experience with water and 30/20-amp power. This unique site features an artificial turf tent pad that is completely covered, providing excellent shade and protection from the wind, rain, or sun. For your comfort, the site includes an upgraded dining set for four, additional seating for two, a fire pit, and a propane BBQ grill, along with assigned adjacent parking. Conveniently located near the restrooms, showers, camping kitchen, and pool, this shaded retreat is designed for convenience and relaxation. Please contact us in advance if you have unique parking needs. Please note: that a maximum stay of seven days is permitted, and to preserve our infrastructure, electric vehicle (EV) charging is not allowed.

Our Grass Tent Sites feature a 12' x 15' grass pad with water and 30/20-amp service. Each site includes a picnic table, a fire pit and assigned adjacent parking for one vehicle. These sites are conveniently situated near the restrooms, showers, camping kitchen, and pool. Please contact us in advance if you have unique parking needs. During the summer season, a maximum stay of two days is permitted for guests setting up a tent on the grass pad. Please note that to preserve our infrastructure, electric vehicle (EV) charging is not permitted.

Do tent sites have electricity and water?
Yes. Tent sites at Las Cruces KOA include water and 30/20-amp electrical service.
Are tent sites shaded?
Yes. Our grass tent sites offer shade, and our Covered Patio Tent Site features a fully covered tent pad for additional protection from the sun.
How close are tent sites to restrooms and showers?
Tent sites are located near the campground restrooms and showers, as well as the camping kitchen and pool. Guests can walk to the bathrooms from their tent sites within a couple of minutes.
Are tent sites pet-friendly?
Yes. Pets are welcome at our tent sites, but must not be left unattended. Guests also have access to our fenced dog park and complimentary dog wash.
Are camper vans or small Class B motorhomes allowed in tent sites?
Las Cruces KOA allows camper vans and Class B RVs under 20 feet in length and without slides to use tent sites.
How many tents can fit at a tent site?
Tent sites feature a 12-by-15-foot tent pad, which accommodates most tents. Tent pads are meant for a single tent per tent site.
How many people do tent sites accommodate?
Tent sites accommodate up to four people.
