We stayed in the newer deluxe cabins, it was nice overlooking the river, new updated cabins with kitchen including the sink and fridge, it was fantastic, the train noise was very noticable in this cabin at night, but doable.. Friendly people, pet friendly, nice walkable location to the town, close to the hot springs. I would recommend this KOA.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and we loved our stay. We did find that the propane fireplace on our back patio was broken and would not stay lit, we also had a hard time with the water pressure in the shower. It seemed to be way too high and it was hard to shower. Overall we had a great stay and will visit again!

Was in 220 spot. Excellent site in that the grounds were great. Table, chairs, fire pit, concrete patio, grass, large site, close to K9 pen and easy hookups. The bad news is location. Next to busy highway, active train tracks and numerous noise sources. With an 8 year old we found little in the park in the way of activities for children. Small playground was the extent of it.

Wonderful stay in an Oasis in the desert. Staff was super helpful and accommodating, the sites were green and wooded with a river right thru it and I loved the premium WiFi. The camp is stones throw from the town and super fun tubing down the same river. Definitely the best Koa we’ve ever stayed at! Well done folks !!!

no activities lack in politeness and customer service. turned away several early check in people and that was at 11am and 2pm. check in was a hard 3pm only.

The campground was great though the trains passing by are very loud. The cabin was nice though the supplied kitchen stuff was very minimal. There were only 2 cups and glasses for 4 people, 3 forks, etc. A sponge and towel to wash and dry the dishes we used would have been good. We were traveling with our own but many people might not

We didn't have a good experience. We were there on a weekday, but the WiFi wasn't even good enough to check email. The staff was brisk, the campsites were sparse, and there was no shade at all (wish this were noted when booking). The biggest problem is the train track next to the property. Extremely loud freight trains woke us up multiple times overnight, so we were hardly able to sleep.

we stayed in spot 6 in the newer patio spots on the river a little more money but worth it we stayed for 2 days with my grand kids. very clean and a great staff

We enjoy this KOA & with the vast improvements they've made it's even better. Particularly, coating the roads to reduce dust! We had one issue... when we relocated the fire bowl, there was a significant amount of very sticky residue from the previous fires, roughly 5" in diameter. I informed the front desk, requesting it be cleaned up, which did not happen. I scraped it off with my putty knife.

Friendly staff. Clean campsite. Gorgeous view. Kids loved the playground. Close to the water park and river floating. Loved getting our laundry done!! Only 2 downsides are the train tracks so close and the big gusts of wind that took out our awning (apparently that’s a normal occurrence). We’d stay again.

This was a lovely campground. Mature trees and lots of space on your site. Easy access to tubing, pools and the town. Lower spaces are gorgeous but have to book way in advance. Little pricey but well maintained and nice location. Bathrooms and showers are very nice and well kept. The cabins are are a nice alternative to bringing a trailer or RV.

We had four groups wanting to camp next together. It was not possible because we had a trailer, 2 deluxe cabins, and one smaller cabin. The cabins were very nice. The trailer spot was nice but small. Would have preferred to have our 4 groups together. We hope to find a way to make it work next time so our small kids can play together. The grounds are kept nice.

We love this KOA and this was our second time staying here. The premium sites are very nice, ours was right on the river, and have level concrete pads. The picnic area was also a concrete pad, but not very level. They also provide very nice above-ground campfire pits on their premium sites. All of their sites are very nice and well groomed. The hot springs are a 5-10 minute walk away.

We were assigned a wonderful site with lots of room. Staff was for the most part very friendly. We had two issues with dogs not on a leash. One asulting us and another of its owner not picking up a dump in the middle of the lawn. Office had no response and a service worker s dog was also not always leashed. Still a very nice clean park.

The tent space was TINY. Quiet hours were not observed. It felt very cramped & noisy the whole time. People took forever to take showers & all we wanted was to use the restroom. The only redeeming feature was the playground, our kids loved it. But, could you put in a fence or barrier between it and the highway? It was dangerous. It was not relaxing so we won't be back.

Nice park, I would suggest the lower part of park. More people but also more trees for shade. It was very hot with little shade in the upper new part.

Although this KOA is a bit off the I-15 for just a 1 night stay, it's a beautiful place with large spaces. It has all the amenities and is close to shopping and dining.... I would definitely stay there for a few days to a week..

Very disappointed how close the sites were (your water, sewer and electric are in your neighbors site). The fire pits are tire rims that are SUNK in the ground, which makes a great place to fall in and break an ankle. The laundry facilities were good. The best part is that the river that runs along side the campground. The bad part is a busy road and 2 train track run on the opposite side.

Spacious pull-thru in a section new enough that the trees provide nominal shade compared with big trees & shade in the older sections. Clean bathrooms, site fire pit with table and 4 chairs. If you’ve never been to Lava Hot Springs be aware the train tracks adjacent to the town are active. Large Muni Pool with water slides, tube the river thru town, soak in natural Hot Springs, fun garden walk

This site was amazing. I stayed in the new little cabins, and they had a great view of the river. I loved hearing the water run while reading a book and drinking my coffee every morning of my visit. Also, the town of Lava is a five minute walk so its close to "civilization" while also being a quiet place to relax without the "busy bustling" of the town.

We stayed here once before and had great hot water in the shower. This time there was no hot water. Big disappointment. Bitter cold shower was not fun otherwise great stay.

Very nice location on the river(space 10). Wifi transmitter was very close which was lucky. Staff was helpful. Very clean.

Amazing experience. Our cabin backed up to the river and a beautiful waterfall. Loved having the gas grill, outside table and chairs, rockers and firepit.
