This is an awesome little get away spot! The cabins are perfect and way better than any hotel in town for a family of 4. Highly Recommend!

the koa was great! clean, comfortable, and easy. This particular spot (lava) is right by a freeway and train tracks which isn't ordeal, but that pretty much covers anywhere you would stay when going to lava

The cabins are great. Just would have appreciated a few more tools to cook with. All we had was a flipper and tongs. No knives. Nothing else to aid in cooking. We have one pot without a lid. No cutting board. Can't do much with that! There are dishes and silverware to eat with.

We had a splendid time. The cabin was very nice. To make things easier in the laundry mat it would be helpful to have a coin or credit card machine.

Inside the cabin is great. Very open layout which makes it feel spacey. However the cabins are very close together. If a privacy fence was put in between each cabin just to block the back patio area would be such an improvement. Our neighbors were out on their deck and made it impossible to enjoy a conversation or the fire.

Perfect for a weekend getaway. Enough privacy away from the hustle and bustle of Lava on the weekend, yet close enough to walk around town. I would recommend to others but I want to keep them all to myself. :)

Cabins were nice. Description of layout is deceiving as we thought separate bedroom was private so maybe have some kind of divider that you can pull closed between beds for privacy. Futon is extremely small and my petite 14 yr old had to lay diagonally to fit on it. Also satellite was having issues and most channels would not work. Tankless water heater was amazing with 5 people

everything was good until we turned the bed down and was getting ready for bed and found long black hair all over the pillow cases. Now I'm bald and my wife is blonde so I know it wasn't ours. My wife was upset about it so I checked the other pillows and they were the same so I had to take the cover sheet off the other bed and put over the pillows for the night.

This was my 5th time staying at East KOA, and was not great. It was not as clean as prior visits. Examples: A dirty, dried washcloth was left hanging on the shower rod, the bathroom vent fan cover was covered in dust and looked gross, utensils were dirty, & there was a mouse in the cabin that kept us up our 2nd night; we killed it next day with traps we bought. We got a 10% discount, but still...

Loved the stay at the cabin. It was clean and cozy. The instructions outlining what to bring was excellent to know ahead of time. I would highly this place to others.

It was fantastic, such a cute cabin with the river running in the back, a nice patio with a propane fire pit. We can't wait to go back!

Our stay was amazing we stayed in the cabins that had all the amenities. It was our anniversary and we enjoyed being close to the Hot Springs and downtown so we could walk ….we liked having the barbecue outback and a little propane fire pit amazing …so clean so pleasant so perfect. Thank you KOA

Cozy little cabin. Website said no kitchen but between the microwave, coffee maker, fridge, bathroom in the cabin and grill outside it pretty much constitutes a kitchen. Great views. Nice walk to town. Clean cabin too!

We loved our cabin! In walking distance of most places we visited. We didn't realize it was so close to the train. We were just glad that it didn't have to blow its whistle.

My wife and I was impressed how clean our cabin was. The deluxe cabins are well kept all the way around. It really added to a fun getaway experience.

Everything was fantastic. This stay was a last minute stop and I couldn’t be happier that we did. Clean, comfy and cozy. I highly recommend staying here and plan on it in the future. My only regret is not staying longer. It was a quick walk to Lava and far enough away for a quiet retreat. My only complaint is the shower curtain wasn’t big enough to cover the shower. Don’t let this stop you.

The cabin was very clean. Friendly staff. Our only issue was the heat did not work. By the time we discovered it, the office was closed. A little chilly that night but we let them know when we checked out. They stated they would look at it.

Overall, I rate the property as a 10 out of 10... the only thing I didn't enjoy was the fact that we had to call a friend in McCammon & 2 of us stayed w/ them because the room (which we reserved for 4 adults and 2 children: an 8-year-old and a 6-year-old) didn't fit. There are two beds for the adults, but the futon for the kids was impossibly small. Otherwise, spectacular and the kids enjoyed it.

The staff are great. The park is clean and well cared for. The river runs behind the park Very nice setting. The one major downside is the loud noise from the trains and freeway noise. Not the fault of the park,but if you are a lite sleeper consider another location. My husband is a heavy sleeper and did not have a good nights sleep our 7 night stay.

Amazing experience. Our cabin backed up to the river and a beautiful waterfall. Loved having the gas grill, outside table and chairs, rockers and firepit.
