Staff was great and cabins were super clean - but Pictures are very deceiving. Non gated KOA - free for anyone or anything to roam. Not disclosed . Loud trains right next to sites make impossible to sleep- also not disclosed. Not great for bikes - dirty and unfinished “walkways” all over. Very disappointed. Way overpriced!!!

We love the people and place but the new cement curbing in the upper area makes it impossible to get into and out of without having to climbing onto the curbs and cement, possibly causing damage to tires and vehicles.

The pictures /online descriptions were very deceiving. Extremely LOUD trains all during the night wasn’t disclosed nor was the huge trees in the middle of dog pens. Not much room in themDog fees are ridiculous for dog spots. Way overpriced - way!!!!! Disappointed. Staff however was awesome. Cleaning people very helpful. Cabins were very clean But SOO small - no walkway for handicap in HC cabin.

We had a wonderful time! Staff was pleasant and professional, the facilities were amazing and the scenery was beautiful. We definitely plan to camp here again I'm the future.

It is a great site but the freeway and train noise is loud so would advise to request site further away from road.

It was very comfortable and nice! The propane grill was an added bonus! We loved our stay and hope to be back! We also had to leave early because of sick kids and the nice lady refunded us for the day we would be gone. We didn't even expect that! Great customer service!

Well first night we ended up at the wrong tent site in a wind storm at 20 degrees with no heat, but we went to the office they told us the correct tent site, but also let us change into a cabin with a small fee which was great

Michael the kid at check in was so rude, I will not stay at this location again because of the way I was treated by the staff!!!! Sadly location was great and beautiful but not worth being treated that way.

Very clean and personnel are on top of things. Really enjoyed are stay. We really liked how close the camp ground was to town, everything is within walking distance.

Our cabin had some problems with the heater staying on and we couldn't control it. Our hosts helped us by moving us to another cabin. We loved our stay- thank you.

Everything was great except being packed into a smaller space with slide outs, no room between units. Otherwise clean, great staff, close to the hot pools and downtown Lava. We had a great time.

Just an over nighter. The trains behind me were going all night. Kept me awake. Extremely nice and clean restrooms and showers.

Great park! Staff was friendly and helpful. Our site was immaculate and beautiful... backed right up to the river. We stayed in early spring as the park was just starting to open for the season and we would love to come back and see it in the late summer or fall in all its glory.

Beautiful area right on the Portneuf River. A lot of new construction in the park. Walking distance to Lava Hot Springs hot pools. One of the nicest KOAs I have ever stayed in.

Amazing experience. Our cabin backed up to the river and a beautiful waterfall. Loved having the gas grill, outside table and chairs, rockers and firepit.
