This area gets some good rain. with that said we booked our site and we were very disappointed with our site 46. The grass was missing in alot of areas and is very muddy. No one has cared for this spot in a long time. We were told they had a bounce mattress for the kids come to find out it was in town at another Koa site. They charged us $4. per kid per hour. Last 5 trains a night and it is loud.

You should advertise that your campground is within 100 ft of a major highway and 200 ft of a train track with all day & all night noise. The semi truck drivers use their compression brakes. The trains are going by all day & night and blowing their horns. This place is so loud you can't have a conversation outside your trailer, much less get a good nights sleep.

Beautiful park. I hadn’t visited here for several years so was pleasantly surprised to see the updates and renovations that had taken place in those intervening years. The new cement pads were easy to park on and oh! So very level. I was able to park and be set up in a matter of moments and take the nearby trail to the hot springs for time in the pools. Lovely people, friendly, easy check-in

Wonderful view, friendly & helpful staff, very clean showers. The only complaint concerns rude campers that allow their dogs to bark. Had to endure 2 days of constant barking.

Great place to stay a night or longer. Beautiful park by the water. The grounds are in tip top shape. Short walk to town . Wear your ear plugs or have something for the road noise . Not a knock on the park at all, that's just the way it is. Good food at the 78th street grill. I would definitely stay there again

We loved our stay at KOA East in Lava Hot Springs. The mountain views were beautiful and the river and town are very close. We enjoyed our walks to enjoy the town. Our campsite was lovely. The bathrooms are nice. The dog area was great! Loved our stay!

Beautiful RV park. The only downside is the highway & train are very close and the is constant. The entrance is on a busy highway, otherwise the park is lovely.

We absolutely loved our stay at the KOA East in Lava! The views are beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly! We will definitely visit again!!

This was the most friendliest and pristine campground we have ever stayed at! Andy and Cody Tillotson run an amazing place. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend this KOA to family and friends. George abs Tami Behrend �ϋ�

Lovely Park but perhaps earplugs should be part of the checkin. Incredible noise from very nearby trains several times at night. The whole place is well kept up. We loved our patio and proximity to the K9 area.

We stayed in the upper/newer area. Simply beautiful, well maintained and clean. The only problem I had, and it’s fairly common with KOA’s is it is right on the freeway and next to railroad tracks. The noise was horrible. But we did not let that detract from our visit. It was beautiful and we will be back.

This KOA is very nice. Close to the river with lots of trees and shady spots. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean and nice. The only reason we gave it an average rating was for the noise from the rail line and the busy highway with lots of big rigs.

We love your place! Great staff! It would be helpful to have chairs/shelves in the bathrooms on the upper campground. The hooks are nice but it would be great to have a chair in each restroom. The chairs can be used for putting stuff on them or sitting on them when putting on shoes.

Everything was great with 1 exception. I arranged and paid for a late checkout. At 10:56 a very rude employee verbally attacked my family, insisting we had 4 minutes to leave. I told him we had a late check out and he said "those don't exist here" , and claimed we could get a refund for the $20 paid for late Checkout. I understand miscommunications happen, but he didn't need to be Beligerant

The park facilities are great! My only issue was that the free internet was very slow even though the park was only 25% full.

The stay was wonderful until the hornets arrived. Several of us got stung and I’m still dealing with a sore foot because of it. Please spray for these critters! We will be back next summer if not before so hopefully something is done. However, I will bring my own spray and hit everything before we set up the next time.

We loved staying next to the river. It was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. We loved the big trees. The campsite was very clean. The patio was great to keep our trailer clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

Amazing experience. Our cabin backed up to the river and a beautiful waterfall. Loved having the gas grill, outside table and chairs, rockers and firepit.
