Staff is great. Location is perfect to walk or very short drive to hot springs. It is relaxing and we have enjoyed ourselves everytime we go.

Our cabin was very comfortable and clean. We had a very nice stay. The accommodations fit our needs. It is very likely we will return. Thanks so much for your efforts. The staff was very courteous and helpful as well.

I love the deluxe cabins. have stayed in them about 5 or 6 times! I do wish there were coupons to help with cost so I can come more often. I do buy the member discount thing but still expensive for me.

This place is phenomenal as usual. We would have liked a TV in the deluxe cabin, as we’ve had them in the smaller cabins. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

We had two cabins. One with one bunk and another with two. Both were great. The bathroom/shower area was nice and clean. We will definitely be coming back!

Excellent! My lodge stay was comfortable and very clean. I loved the beautiful river side site and would definitely reserve it again in the future. It is my favorite KOA experience so far. Staff service was great, too!

We stayed in the new cabins east of the office. They are very nice. I'm wondering if you have plans to create a bit more private area within the outdoor sitting area. That area is very nice and would even be better if it were more private and relaxing. We were really enjoyed our time there and plan to return.

We had a great time! We can't wait to come back! Our only complaint was that the 6 person cabin wasn't big enough for 6 adults. The other two didn't show up so the 4 of us had plenty of space and comfort. If you are expecting to sleep 6 adults, you will want to bring a blow up mattress. The sleeping arrangements only sleep 5 adults comfortably.

Thank you for your kind and informational review. Due to the loveseat sized futon only 2 small children are able to sleep on it. There is definitely room on the floor for a blow up mattress. We do apologize for the confusion.

The new cabins need to be put on blocks, it’s really bouncing when anyone walks across the floor and the bunk beds need better mattresses.

Tracy was so wonderful!! The cabin had the most beautiful view and a really open layout! Super clean and provided us with everything we could need! We will definitely be staying again!

Our stay was fantastic. The deluxe cabin is so cute and had all the necessities we needed for our trip. the patio was by far my favorite part. We will definitely be back in late summer.

We were told with 4 adults there was a wall between beds and there was not . We also were sold wood and the fire pit was propane , so we didnt even need it.

We absolutely love this place! We have been to the KOA Lava Hot Springs twice within 2 months. It is so relaxing and an amazing place to retreat to. We love the fact that it is walking distance to the hot springs. The staff is absolutely amazing. (Thank you Jim and Michael for always being so friendly and caring.) The views are so serene. We can't wait to go back for a 3rd time.

We stayed in a cabin for 4 nights at Lava Hot Springs East. Overall, it is a lovely & comfortable place to stay. Yet, between the trains running throughout the night + the night traffic on Hwy 30 (constant semis), it was hard to get a good night's sleep. If you are someone that can sleep through anything, then this KOA will be just fine. If not, then I would not recommend this KOA.

Highly recommend staying here. Park your car and walk into town and enjoy the hot springs. The Deluxe Cabin was wonderful and the views from the deck are stunning! Surpassed our expectations~ just beautiful. Wildlife, roaring river and you can walk to the local natural hot springs. Whether in a tent, RV or cabin this is the place to stay when in Lava. Can’t wait for our return A++

Stay was good. The price seems a little high for what it is, would want to stay again but with the high price for what you actually get we may not. The deck area is AMAZING!!! The Wifi was not great, the shower pressure was too much, like it hurts your skin. Also would suggest maybe keeping like salt and pepper there, and we weren't crazy about guests right next to us being able to smoke.

Staff was great and cabins were super clean - but Pictures are very deceiving. Non gated KOA - free for anyone or anything to roam. Not disclosed . Loud trains right next to sites make impossible to sleep- also not disclosed. Not great for bikes - dirty and unfinished “walkways” all over. Very disappointed. Way overpriced!!!

The pictures /online descriptions were very deceiving. Extremely LOUD trains all during the night wasn’t disclosed nor was the huge trees in the middle of dog pens. Not much room in themDog fees are ridiculous for dog spots. Way overpriced - way!!!!! Disappointed. Staff however was awesome. Cleaning people very helpful. Cabins were very clean But SOO small - no walkway for handicap in HC cabin.

It was very comfortable and nice! The propane grill was an added bonus! We loved our stay and hope to be back! We also had to leave early because of sick kids and the nice lady refunded us for the day we would be gone. We didn't even expect that! Great customer service!

Well first night we ended up at the wrong tent site in a wind storm at 20 degrees with no heat, but we went to the office they told us the correct tent site, but also let us change into a cabin with a small fee which was great

Our cabin had some problems with the heater staying on and we couldn't control it. Our hosts helped us by moving us to another cabin. We loved our stay- thank you.

Had so much fun on our weekend girls trip. It was cold outside, but our cabin stayed really warm with the heater. The pad was even cleared off for us to us and have a fire in the pit. The staff was informative and kind. Was a little nervous the cabin was so close to the road and the road noise at night was a littler bothersome.

Amazing experience. Our cabin backed up to the river and a beautiful waterfall. Loved having the gas grill, outside table and chairs, rockers and firepit.
