The only thing is to have more trash cans in more places. Other than that it was a great relaxing stay.

The checkin & out process was very easy and staff were friendly.Grounds were clean and sites accessible.The campground is a short 15 minute walk to the town and hot pools. Be sure to bring ear plugs (which is pretty much a staple for any RV trip) because the train is very close and runs through the night.The train is close to town so this would be the case at any place in Lava HS.

We popped the tire of our RV on the jagged cement sticking out between each space. Seems unnecessary in design. Love the Paw Pen spots but they are over-priced, especially when compounded by having to get a new tire....bathrooms are amazing. I love the additions and upgrades you've made. I would stay again but not in those spots!

beautiful campground! lots of room to manuever our camper…but the bathrooms were the best part!! big shower, private room and lots of hot water!! definitely recommend!!

Employees went out of their way to help me out on a tool I needed. I’m upset I didn’t get his name. But he didn’t have one with him but returned the next day with one.

It's a beautiful campground and very well maintained. But, it is very expensive. They even charge you to pick your site.

Worst camping spot ever, right against the camp store and office. Fire pit down a hill, could barely get to it without falling. The first night was $50 and the next night was $70 (before our 10%), not worth it! Was sorry we booked it. The people working were nice but the spot was not!

Nice location with easy walk to/from town. Very pleasant young man who checked us in. Very weak WiFi — essentially useless. Need to provide recycling options.

Very clean, nice restroom/shower facilities. Had a theft issue while there with some staff helpful and some not. The campground is well kept but so very loud being right next to freight train tracks. Difficult to get a good night's sleep, despite the lovely location next to the river.

Amazing nice hosts, took us to our site, campground very clean. Friday nite at hot pool too busy. I will not recommend Lava KOA due to train, semi truck and traffic sounds.

We have stayed at a handful of KOA's and this one is probably our favorite! We had a riverside view with patio. Quick walk to town. So relaxing!

The stay was as expected. Great site, great location, no problems. We are return customers and will continue to be. The upgrades are top notch and look fantastic.

This area gets some good rain. with that said we booked our site and we were very disappointed with our site 46. The grass was missing in alot of areas and is very muddy. No one has cared for this spot in a long time. We were told they had a bounce mattress for the kids come to find out it was in town at another Koa site. They charged us $4. per kid per hour. Last 5 trains a night and it is loud.

You should advertise that your campground is within 100 ft of a major highway and 200 ft of a train track with all day & all night noise. The semi truck drivers use their compression brakes. The trains are going by all day & night and blowing their horns. This place is so loud you can't have a conversation outside your trailer, much less get a good nights sleep.

Beautiful park. I hadn’t visited here for several years so was pleasantly surprised to see the updates and renovations that had taken place in those intervening years. The new cement pads were easy to park on and oh! So very level. I was able to park and be set up in a matter of moments and take the nearby trail to the hot springs for time in the pools. Lovely people, friendly, easy check-in

Wonderful view, friendly & helpful staff, very clean showers. The only complaint concerns rude campers that allow their dogs to bark. Had to endure 2 days of constant barking.

Great place to stay a night or longer. Beautiful park by the water. The grounds are in tip top shape. Short walk to town . Wear your ear plugs or have something for the road noise . Not a knock on the park at all, that's just the way it is. Good food at the 78th street grill. I would definitely stay there again

Amazing experience. Our cabin backed up to the river and a beautiful waterfall. Loved having the gas grill, outside table and chairs, rockers and firepit.
