Grounds are immaculate! Easy check-in. The check-in person quickly found my information and was prepared to show me where to park our fifth wheel. There was a specific site to park the truck right next to the fifth wheel. Had a small, fenced-in grass area for dogs. Our specific back-in site was very private with grass and a picnic table. We were located on the upper part of the park.

The stay was great, but damaged my RV on the cement abutments at # 204. If you could do something with them, they are too high and they protrude out too far into the road. It is very difficult to avoid them if you have a large trailer.

Great place to stay. Pulled in around 3:30PM, walked to downtown, took a few tube rides, went to the hot springs and made dinner back at the campground.

This campground truly feels amazing. The owners and staff are wonderful and even the other campers are so very nice here. Can’t beat the location

We were in the upper new sites which is very nice. In a few years the trees will provide some shade. People were very nice. Negative was you had no access to the river unless you went thru someone’s site and you had to walk or drive to the hot springs. I thought they were closer. Could be my mistake.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in. Very clean and relaxing! The staff was very helpful and they always had a smile!

The paw pens you charge for are a joke. Nothing but a small fenced area protecting your huge pine trees that take up the whole area. No room for dogs. Plus you allowed guests with pit bulls and Dobermans to run free unleashed. One of your employees witnessed both dogs unleashed and did nothing. The Doberman came into my space when I had my dogs out. Not acceptable.

We always enjoy staying here. Although it’s a destination for most, it’s generally a stopover for us when traveling in and out of the state. Love all the improvements and new big level sites!

We had site 52, supposedly semi-deluxe. The site was extremely close to the adjacent sites. I mean ridiculously close. Hosts were not very hospitable as well.

Love this koa. Bathrooms are very clean and the grounds are beautiful. The staff are very helpful. Be prepared for very loud trains.

While the campground is beautiful and in a great location the layout of the park especially in the newer part really has some issues. There is long and strange curbing making driving and parking difficult. We even witnessed a motorhome drive up on the curbing and pop a tire. He then got off of the curb and hit it in second spot because it sticks out everywhere. Curbing is sharp not rounded too

Fabulous campground. Only lost a star for the proximity to the train and road which is a little noisy. But otherwise facilities were very clean and tidy, plenty of shade. Camp hosts were onto the noisier campers at 10pm too. Really enjoyed it!

The park is across the road from the train tracks. Every time the train goes by it blew its whistle. It woke my husband up 6 times during the night and it woke me up about 3 times. We didn’t use bathrooms because we travel in our RV.

Your camp is beautiful but the camp sites are too close together . You need night monitors some campers were loud outside till 2am so sleep was not good

It's to bad this is a nice camp ground but on my last night the two campsite next to me were so noisy until 1am I couldn't sleep. If your going to have times like 10pm and charge $5 for each dog a night you should have people respect others. An when we left told lady at desk she acted like she really didn't care

Great improvements have been made here since our last stay a few years back. Sites are a bit difficult to get into and road noise in new area are our negatives.

We have been staying here for over 20 years (before it was a KOA even). Once KOA bought it the major improvements started happening. The patio sites are amazing! The addition of the lodges are perfect. In my opinion - it’s the #1 best place to stay in Lava!

good.. easy access. nice, clean park. bad.. internet was horrible. worthless. charging for my pet is absurd. $5 per day for a pet is wrong. what impact does my dog have on your park? I truly felt like leaving the poop on the ground since I was being charged $45 to have my pet with me. its wrong. curbs.. Im no veteran to rv parks, but the curbs are a bad idea. too tall. dangerous.

We had a fabulous time thank you your staff was amazing and willing to help always! The only downside was we thought there was a pool on site. But that wasn't hard to over come �

Amazing experience. Our cabin backed up to the river and a beautiful waterfall. Loved having the gas grill, outside table and chairs, rockers and firepit.
