We had a wonderful back in site along the river for our stay. This location exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and the staff were so sweet and helpful. The only downside was the campground was packed. Our neighbors were loud and had 4 extra cars with no respect towards our space because they had “paid to be there too.” Other than that the KOA was great. We will be back

So nice to be able to walk into town. Wish that the showers were separated from the toilets. Too few for the number of guests

The campground was very nice and clean. The lower level along the river (spots 3-14) seemed to be the prime and quieter spots. We stayed up at the higher area, which seems newer and was very loud from the highway noise. Made it difficult to sleep. Location was good for being close to town but not IN town like the other KOA. If staying here, be sure to get a prime back-in spot on the river!

Although the site was clean, the bathrooms did not get the level of care they should have. I looked at the same glob of hair in a drain the 3 days I was there. I would expect something better than a quick mop down. The train which runs several times a day was an annoyance as was the roadway right at the complex.

Wow! Upgraded sites and new sites since the last time we stayed here! Always enjoy staying in Lava as we travel to and from home (via I-80 to I-86/84).

This KOA is well kept and very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to help make your stay enjoyable. Since Lava Hot Springs is a fairly small town nestled along the river against the mountains, there is some annoyance from passing semis and trains during the night but we still enjoyed our stay. We want to come back during the tourist off season.. :-)

First time stay at the East location and found it very comfortable and welcoming. All staff were friendly and helpful. Easy walk to the pools and downtown. Our site was next to the office and more natural the the other sites. Would have liked pavers under the table area for a cleaner site and less tracking if all the dust and dirt into our RV. Otherwise perfect.

We were especially appreciative of the staff when we had a family emergency and they refunded the days we could not stay along with hopes that well would be well. Beautiful setting. Out site backed up to the river.

On Our 6 Week Vacation, We Always Stay Here on Our Way Back Home. Very Nice and Peaceful. Walking Distance to the Best Mineral Hot Springs and Food and Beverage. Great Stop for The Family. See You Next Year!

We were here for 5 nights and loved it!! We stayed on a river side spot and everything about the entire property was cleaned and maintained well. I definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance.

The KOA staff are working from morning until night to make it one of the cleanest and friendly camp grounds we go to. The KOA store is small, but always has items we had forgot to load. My son uses the KOA showers and always mentions how clean and convenient they are. We have a group of six different RV's that go to the Lava KOA each year and we already booked three spots for 8 days in June 2022.

I only wish they would have told us that we needed a drivers license once we got to the tube rental but other then that it was great!

A nice stopover place when visiting the area. Our Site #102, was a nice concrete back-in site near the river. Although a bit narrow, it has nice grass and a fenced dog area. Site was perfectly level!

Very clean campground. Not the quietest place, but if you want the perfect camp for soaking in hot springs or tubing on the river, this is your place.

Enjoyed our stay. Only complaint was that we requested a site as far away from the road as possible, but were denied by person checking us in because it was “too busy”. We instead got assigned site 74 which was closest too the road. There were plenty of empty sites away from the road that were empty that we could have been assigned.

Was in 220 spot. Excellent site in that the grounds were great. Table, chairs, fire pit, concrete patio, grass, large site, close to K9 pen and easy hookups. The bad news is location. Next to busy highway, active train tracks and numerous noise sources. With an 8 year old we found little in the park in the way of activities for children. Small playground was the extent of it.

Wonderful stay in an Oasis in the desert. Staff was super helpful and accommodating, the sites were green and wooded with a river right thru it and I loved the premium WiFi. The camp is stones throw from the town and super fun tubing down the same river. Definitely the best Koa we’ve ever stayed at! Well done folks !!!

no activities lack in politeness and customer service. turned away several early check in people and that was at 11am and 2pm. check in was a hard 3pm only.

Amazing experience. Our cabin backed up to the river and a beautiful waterfall. Loved having the gas grill, outside table and chairs, rockers and firepit.
