The KOA is great. Friendly staff and very clean grounds and facilities.. The kids loved it. We had great neighbors. The daily activities and the nightly movie make this place a must return. When the pool is back up and running this place will be perfect for families.

The park is very welcoming; it has several activities for the younger ones, the campers all abided by the park rules. The site is close enough to local stores so access is easy.

The campground was lovely and immaculate. It was very full. Our campsite #84 was too close to the staging center, and there was barely enough room to put out the awning on our tent trailer. The next time I will request a different spot. Lots of nice amenities, the comfort stations were clean and spacious with grouping of restrooms, showers, and laundry. It was a little pricey, but lovely.

Was very disappointed that the pool was closed for maintenance especially since the weather was so hot. Our site was narrow, no grass and no shade trees.

Campground is very nice/ well maintained. For the price you pay… a little overboard. Most of the staff was great, but getting harassed about quiet hours when folks are speaking in a low voice, having a quiet conversation is a little ridiculous. Also charging for guests to just say hi is also out of control. We definitely will find other accommodations next time.

The grounds were clean, staff was friendly, and there were many fun activities offered. However, the sites were crammed right up next to each other and the tent site we were in was entirely gravel. The camp would do better to take in less people so there is more breathing room. But overall it was still a pleasant experience.

When we arrived to our camp site, the site was flooded with water from maintenance staff over watering. Hoses and sprinkler were spread across our site the entire stay. The gravel site was extremely muddy and and remained that way through our stay. The cost was $115 a night not counting the nickel and dime $2 dollar charge for our dog. Disappointed!

Stay was great however it was extremely disappointing that the pool was closed for remodel. How could the pool be closed in the middle of July with no warning?! �����‍���

I am disappointed in the way that KOA is heavily focused on special amenities instead of quality of kamp sites. I paid way too much for a crowded patch of gravel to sleep on. As usual the staff is friendly and the campground clean, but I am not impressed with the overall sacrifice of quality.

The stay was just ok. The problem I had was the lady who checked us in. The first words out of her mouth was what do you want. We have stayed at a lot of k.o.a’s and this was the worst welcome we ever received. We will never stay at this campground again. We will also not recommend it to anyone we know. Not only is it high priced to be welcomed with negativity was terrible. Sorry Bob

While we stayed in a perfectly lovely cabin, we were less than impressed with the RV accomodations of other family members; cramped, dusty, no separation between sites. The pool was closed, no pancake breakfast, but full on holiday season pricing was in force. Won't do it again if we can help it.

Amazing variety of campsites/lodging. Enjoyed the Riverwalk. Superior garbage pickup. Appreciated that store was open late. Would have liked to see an area for people just wanting to purchase store items so they don't have to wait for registrations. Interesting that Office is at the back of the camp, but with waiting area for vehicles is far superior to other campgrounds.

Our family has been coming here for 4 years and they consistently provide a great time for family and friends. This is our go to place for a fun weekend get away from the city

Overall the campground is very nicely located an I really have nothing negative to stay about the campground overall. My specific campsite was okay, site 116. I will say that the passenger side area was unusable for us with a passenger side slide out given the slope of the area. There was room behind to use but not being able to use right outside the door was a bummer.

Nice KOA. Pool was still out of commission, thus the 4 out of 5 rating. River walk is beautiful. Super close to downtown Leavenworth.

Considering how much everybody pays to stay in the very cramped campground, the internet is a joke. An upgrade is needed. They are aware of the situation but nothing is being done.

Pool was out of commission for the 2nd year and no discount was being offered in lieu of this missing amenity which bummed our whole family. They used to offer 4th night free, but no more. Bring that back…especially with a huge group like ours (9 families…expect 11 next year). KOA charges a lot/night but I don’t think our experience this year was worth what we paid.

The attraction of this campground is the town it’s close to, not the campground itself. Was very disappointing that they didn’t fix the pool during the Covid closures so it’s still closed for a second year in a row. There’s no where in or near the campground to swim safely.

We had a great time but we were very disappointed that the pool wasn’t open and the pancake breakfast wasn’t going on but we had a wonderful time with family.

The park is nice, but we were disappointed in activities for kids. With the pool & bounce house being closed, a discount should be offered or alternative free activities offered. The only free activity was the water slide that lasted a very short time. The staff for the kids' activities could be a little friendlier and helpful. A shirt was handed to us and we had to tie it ourselves.

KOA campgrounds are supposed to be wonderful for families. This one was not. No pool, no pancake breakfast, no bounce house, no assistance during tie dye tshirts but still the same nightly rate? This KOA hardly provided any of the activities that we enjoy. On top of all of that, I requested to be placed next to a family member and pd the $20 but was not placed next to them.

Staff was super friendly and activities and play areas for the kids were great. With the pool closed it would have been nice for the slip and slide activity to be available for more than just an hour. Camp ground is nice but felt really packed in. Site 32 was not really a 'pull through' without a dedicated drive like the other 50 pull throughs - trucks in 33 and 24 made it a back out site.

Loved the new RV sites area with large concrete pad, table & chairs, rocking bench and even a Weber grill with full propane for our use. The staff driving around in the Gators were awesome and helpful, right from the start with a personal escort to your site. Loved the curb side garbage pickup. Never sat on the edge of your site for more than 5 minutes. Awesome job to everyone.

Camper sites are packed together and stacked on top of one another. Our neighbor’s slide out was literally inches from our sites “Boulder boundary.” The sites are super small. The recent addition of boulders to separate sites make them seem even smaller. condition of the grass field was poor - lots of muddy sections. The bathrooms were not very clean - shower curtain had orange slime. Pool b

Campground was nice and maintained, and access to the river was crucial given that the pool was down for repair. Main bathroom was in need of a good deep clean with mildew on the walls/tile in the men's room. We did have a small issue with checkin and had party members charged incorrectly. We were able to clean this up prior to checkout. Overall a positive stay with some minor issues.

The rates are too high for us RV campers. No grass very dusty. The campsites are too close. Everything within KOA is jam packed. Need to lower the rates expand your campground and invest in grass/watering system. We’ve been to places in eastern wa that has grass and have kept up on it and the grounds are much bigger. We were disappointed.

The water pool was closed. That was the only thing that my kids wanted to do. I wish I was told before I arrived that the pool is defective.

For Christmas weekend in Leavenworth it was cozy and perfect for a family of 4. Approx $300 a night (with taxes). Chilly outside but plenty warm inside. Clean and nice touches like candy cane and a sweet card wishing us happy holidays. Also, never seen an origami fold on kitchen paper towels! Microwave, large fridge, toaster, stove with pots and pans, mixing bowls, measuring cups, grilling utensils. No oven. Needs a few hooks to hang our countless hats gloves and jackets.

Awesome campground! Close enough to town to walk. We did it in 19° weather. Theres also a shuttle about 200 yards from the property. Sites were great and we had no issues.
