The employees are all so friendly and caring! They go beyond the call of duty to make sure everything is perfect! The grounds are well maintained and very pleasant. We will be back soon!

Low rating because of the loud and very vulgar construction workers and excavation by our site. Desk staff was nice but the guy who "helped" us park is extremely overbearing. I know other campers were uncomfortable with him as well as i could overhear the conversations when he tried to "help" them park. I can tell he works hard, but maybe pick somebody else to interact with guests on arriva

We're First time RV mororhome. Never stayed in parks before. I liked the convenience, friendly staff and served well for an overnight.

The windows were closed and it was stuffy and smelled bad inside our cabin. The playground has no sand for the kids to play in. The raw sewer right next to the play area is awful. It smells too bad to sit on the provided bench. We could have stayed in a motel room for the same price and free breakfast. We won't stay again at that KOA.

Hosts were great, the campground is clean and nicely manicured and decorated for fall. The store is cute clean, well stocked and has fun things to take back home with you. The best part the wifi is outstanding!!!

Nice clean campground. Charles was very helpful in getting us into our spot. It was a bit tricky with the size of our trailer and a tree that made it more of a challenge.

Everyone was super helpful and friendly. I also appreciated the low prices in the store. I needed forgotten supplies and it was marked well. The bathrooms were really clean as well as the grounds. I also liked that they went the extra mile by decorating the flag pole area with fall decorations. It was a friendly welcome. A nice touch.

Clean campground. All the employees were incredibly friendly and adhered to mask wearing. We enjoyed the half paved roads and half gravel so the kids could ride bikes and scooters. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. WiFi even made it possible for the kids to finish their schoolwork since we came on schooldays.

We use KOA often but this one is our favorite. Every single worker is incredibly helpful and engaging. It’s a spotless clean camp. The playground is centrally located so you can sit at camp and keep and eye on the kiddos. There is a little cafe Mels that serves an incredible breakfast for ridiculously inexpensive price. There’s also a gathering campfire area for the Sat. ice cream social!

Very nice park. The hosts went above and beyond helping us when I had to go to the ER. They helped move our RV to another spot that was available to extend our stay.

Employees are very friendly and constantly busy keeping the place looking nice and helping out campers. We appreciated the fact that they spoke to other campers who were playing loud music and asked them to turn it down (which they did). We did not have to ask for this to be done, they are just on it! :)

We stayed 4 nights at the end of September. Staff was all helpful and friendly. The campground was quiet with beautiful surroundings. We felt like we were nestled among the trees. Everything was clean and well-kept. Hook-ups were easy to use. We WILL return to this campground.

very clean and well kept. Owners and employees were all very friendly and helpful. Spaces are a little tight for the larger RVs. could not put our awning out because of closeness to next trailer. This is something we have noticed in all KOA campground. Our daughter stayed in a cabin close to our spot. Very nice and clean.

the staff is amazing and the cabin was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and plan on staying again next year. Thank you to all of the KOA staff who made the stay absolutely wonderful.

So the spaces for back in are so close together with no separation that you can hear the neighbors brushing their teeth. Bathrooms not so good. My husband would not let me use them. Just not what we are used to when we stay at a KOA

It was very frustrating to get away to relax, then get woke up at 810 by chainsaws. When we left at 11 they were still going. I understand that you have clean up after the fire but least be reasonable for your campers.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are very sorry to hear about your experience at our park. We are equally dissatisfied by the neighbors starting their saws that early; however, we have no control over that. I did speak with them and ask that they try not to start before 9 am next time. Please come back again.

I have lived and worked at a number of KOAs and this is, without a doubt, the BEST! It's smaller but beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous trees and close to the beach and lake. The staff and owners are incredibly helpful and the entire atmosphere during a catastrophic 2020 has been friendly and open. I like it so much, I'm going to stay here as long as possible!

I can’t really rate this stay . The first night we had a wind storm. Had to sleep in our truck because branches were falling on top of our trailer. Then for the next day we parked in an open field. With no power or water. Then on third day we were told to evacuate do to fires in the area.

We were there during a terrible wind storm, no power or water and then evacuated, they were wonderful and gave us all the information we needed to escape the area. I highly recommend this place.

It seemed like it would be a nice to stay, and would def love to go back and try it again. Due to the fires and wind storms, the entire area lost power the first day we were there. No running water, therefore no toilets/showers/internet.. The people running the campground were awesome and kept everyone informed as to what was going on, but the entire area was ordered to evacuate the next day.

Our stay was interrupted by an extreme wind storm and unhealthy smoke from fires in OR & CA. We decided to leave for our safety and those at the park. Park management and staff were very supportive and did everything they could to help. We arrived 9/7/2020 and left 9/8/2020. We were told that we would be charged for one night stay. We are awaiting confirmation of refund of remaining three nights.

We have stayed there many times over the last 10 years. We love the staff there. They keep the grounds very clean and well maintained. We were camped there during the September 2020 fires. They did everything they could to help us feel safe during a very scary situation.

Great campground! We were there labor day when the storm ripped through the campground. It was horrible big branches falling and hitting our camper all night. I feel for Charles the damage it did to his awning but he had a great attitude. We escaped CO from wild fires. Sorry to see so many in Oregon.

Way too many people shoved into this campground for the circumstances with COVID. Had we known we would not have made reservations.

The $8 dinners were fantastic! Staff need to be wearing masks more consistently. I saw one person massless for the entire weekend, and another person had it dangling from her ear when she was talking to a maskless guest. The bigger issue though is that the KOA masks do not fit very well, so the mask drifts below people's noses. Staff should be given better fitting masks and should wear them.

It was Labor day so yes it was packed. Dont care for being told to be quiet at 10 pm. Wasnt even that loud. But it right next to Decils Lake which is great for kayaking.

The people were very friendly. The food was great. My big complaint was all the motorized vehicles which really affected the tranquility that could have been. Little tractors and carts as well as all the lawn equipment. We still enjoyed our stay.

This KOA has tent sites right next to each other, so not a lot of privacy. I prefer a bit of solitude, but that's the trade-off for having a clean, quiet, and safe campsite when solo camping. The check-in process was a bit slow (20+ minutes), but the worker on duty was inundated with other check-ins and grocery purchases. Still, the experience was an overall positive one. I would recommend having breakfast at the food truck/restaurant -- it honestly was one of the better homestyle breakfasts I had on my trip.
