Very nice grounds and facilities! The staff was all great and it’s close enough to attractions but not right in town to make it a relaxing spot!

Everything was clean and beautiful. It’s a small campground but has had beautiful river frontage and a nice playground for the kids and activities. The store is very nice too. The staff was extremely friendly. Can’t wait to book again!

This is a very clean and well maintained campground on the western side of the White Mountains attractions. The hosts are very friendly and kind. We stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed our time very much. Our site was spacious with full hookups. When you are not out sightseeing around the area, you can sit by the river and enjoy a good book. We'll go back again for sure!

We enjoyed our stay the only thing that we didn’t like was that there was almost no service for our phones and the WiFi was very weak and disconnected many times. Other than that everyone was very nice including all of the staff.

awesome location - staff was great - we loved it! the only note I'd share is that the wifi didn't work so there was 0 reception so be sure to download your music playlists before you check in!

We enjoyed our stay here. Nice access to the river...even if a little low. Very clean campground. Within an hour drive of just about everything in the White Mountain area. Amenities in town close by if needed. The only thing we did not enjoy was the road noise from Rt 302. We would stay again!

A lovingly maintained park with excellent amenities for kids and grownups. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it a night. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There is mild road noise during the day in the higher numbered sites but the other side Of the park is very quiet. River views and a pleasant friendly atmosphere what more can you want? We’re making reservations to come back.

We booked a campsite next to the river - it was an excellent choice! The site was spacious and we even had a spot under a tree to site and watch the river pass by. We even went tubing! All of the amenities were fine and the new owners are installing upgrades. My boot sole came off and they provided me with a strip of duct tape to fix it. The only issue were the dumpster flies that visited us.

This is a great little KOA in northern NH. We were on site 34: grassy, right on the river, and right next to a river access point. One set of bathrooms located in the main building (a little bit of a walk, in case having bathrooms right next to your site is important). Clean and quiet. We will stay there again and recommend the campground and the site on which we stayed.

WiFi was horrible, no option to pay more money for high speed. River access could use updating as the entrances were somewhat steep. Pool needs updating, kids froze while swimming in it. The campsite had plenty of room. Campground sites, river bank, playground and facilities were clean. Staff friendly. Tricycle rentals were tons of fun. Store was great. Mining, scavenger hunt, craft awesome!

Loved the updates being made by the new owners. Access to river is improving and mining was a blast. It was our first time there and we were thrilled to see a small, well kept, and quiet campground. Looking forward to coming back!

The campground is nice and clean, my site was perfectly level. The site is also large. The KOA campground folks were extremely friendly and helpful. The big rig sites are extremely close to the highway that is over the top loud. We had to crank the TV up very loud just to partially hear. I feel bad writing this review as I know the owners are unable to do anything about the road. Only if they had

The campground was very nice, and family oriented. The river proximity was fantastic. However, site 57 where we were, had horrible road noise. Rt 302 is just on the other side of a thin line of trees, and it was nonstop traffic all day. The noise was loud enough that we had to raise our voices to talk while sitting in front of our camper. The opposite end of the grounds were quieter though.

Loved this campground, not too big quiet and great restrooms. Only downside was the road noise but being near the river made up for it. Only other issue would more showers/bathrooms....the restrooms were fantastic/clean but often crowded and had to wait to use.

The people that work here are the friendliest group I've encountered at a Campground. They act as if they love their jobs! Can't wait to go again.

Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, grassy sites actually have a few trees which is nice! River is perfect for younger kids to float on tubes (a little low for adults). Overall would come back!

We were very happy to get a last minute reservation and then upgraded to a last minute cancelation the second night. We LOVED our river front campsite. A very clean and relaxing environment.

Everything was very nice, but I suggest extending the WiFi signal, putting a walkway in between the two cabins in the center for easier access to bathrooms from the back loop, and perhaps dumping some sand upstream and creating a bit of a beach in the river. Also, I do wish masks were required for the office and the bathrooms.

Thank you for your comment. We are still at this point looking into the wifi, to see what we will do to upgrade it. We do have plans to put in a walkway between Cabin 9+10. Some of the office staff choose to wear mask, others do not. We are however behind the plexi glass.

Having been coming here for years I must say the new owners have done a great job in a short time. Loved the patio set-up, new river access and all the work done on the overall park. Only thing missing from our site was a 50 amp power hook-up. I look forward to our next visit!

Love this place. 2nd time there. But this time put next to highway. Was very noisy. Maybe think about putting more trees in or really a fence to deflect sound. Was distracting & others around me say the same. But the new owners are doing a great job with upgrades, directions for cable need to be better. Had to face time son who’s a sound engineer to get it going. Internet great!

We enjoyed our stay. The scenery is very nice with the river running by next to ou camp sight #35, very relaxing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Thank you very much for a good time. We will be back. JDWebster

We loved our stay at this KOA. A few suggestions: Install 30 amp at sites and not just 20; dog park gate was difficult to use. Other than those issues, this KOA is wonderful, especially with the river running along the campground. We loved floating down the river and with easy access to it! Had a terrific time and will return.

More 50amp sites and better WiFi

Most of our weekends are sold out early in the season, and most people want a full hook up 50 amp site. I'm sorry that you didn't get a full hookup site, I am glad that we were able to accommodate you with only 2 days notice in a W/E site. Our wifi is spotty when the campground is full. Most connect

Everything was very nice; clean bathrooms, well maintained grounds, and especially nice staff. It is located on a lovely river with several access points. There was usually a nice breeze too. The only negative, a big one, was the road noise. If you are a very light sleeper you may have a problem.

The whole area was very well maintained. This a really nice layover spot for families as well as full timers. Excellent Wi-Fi. US 302 is very close so traffic is audible, but not annoying. We’ll be back!

We were lucky to have 3 nights stay there during the peak foliage of White Mountain National Forest. With fall colors everywhere, the campground was very beautiful. The site overall was very clean and well managed. The staffs were friendly. The only concern I would say was the missing of the cell signal. Lucky that the campground provided WiFi was working just fine, even though it was sometime on and off. It will be appreciated if the host can improve the WiFi signal strength a little bit.
