We had a great time! The campground made every effort to provide my group with a site that would work for us. We got a very good site compared to the other options. As a tenter, I would be hesitant to book here again unless I was able to reserve the site we stayed in. The other tent sites were not very private.

We enjoyed our stay here! It is clear the owners are working very hard to maintain and beautify the grounds. The bathrooms were very clean! We loved our spot along the river and had plenty of space to spread out. We do wish you offered recycling, we ended up bringing ours home, but others may not have that option. Thanks so much! We’ll be back!!!

I really liked the facility, but the cabin we stayed in was very smoky. Seems like maybe a previous visitor was smoking cigarettes in there.

We were assured on the phone two days prior to our visit that there would be sufficient WIFI as well as a lounge area to take a phone call in. However this was not the case and that was our main reason for choosing this KOA over a different campsite - not the best experience at the end of it all.

Thank you for your comment. We are sorry that you were not able connect, as our wifi is spotty when the campground is full. Phone service here in the mountains is near impossible. People can connect while near the office. I'm sorry you were misinformed.

We always have an amazing time staying here! The grounds are beautiful and we love having a campsite by the river. The staff is incredible. Everyone is so welcoming. One of our favorite places to stay!

cute little campground, well-maintained, friendly staff. loved swimming in the river. road is kind of close, so a little noise, but not too bad. Would stay again when in the area.

It was a nice campground but very small and close the main road. Beautiful tent sites right on the river. Sites are pretty close together. You can go in and swim but I would recommend buying water shoes. Within close distance to waterfalls and hiking.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, we are a small campground, but that is part of its charm. We have beautiful campsites along the river, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. We did get our water shoe shipment just yesterday, and they are on the shelves ready to sell.

Marygrace and I found your campground to be very clean and well laid out. The staff was outstanding in their communications with the campers. We were very impressed with their attention to the campers. There were some distractions, however, that occured which was of little fault of the campground.

Very friendly personal, camp grounds are kept very clean and organized. Great access to River for tubing and or fishing. Camper, tents or cabins are available. Had a fabulous weekend.

Nice well maintained campground. Liked all the thoughtful amenities ie dog walk dog park dishwashing sink kids playground fountain etc. I wish there were recycling bins not simply trash bins.

Thank you for your feedback. We too wish that the town would recycle, however they do not. With that being said, if the town ever changes, we will be on board and ready to make the changes that would need to be done.

We only stayed 2 nights not long enough! Very clean and quiet. Staff great. Only suggestion is to have more toilets. Long walk for some sites and long wait in the morning.

Accommodated all of our camping party last minute. Very friendly staff. And very prompt service. Very clean facilities , loved it

This campground is in a prime location. However it is beside a main road and you can hear trucks passing by as early as 6am. This campground is very open and has some mature trees. The campsites for the tents are all very exposed. No privacy at all except 12/14/ 14a. Site 13 needs to be removed. It’s a parking spot. The staff was friendly and bathrooms were clean.Many dead trees by river.

Thank you for your feedback. We are working on cutting down the dead trees and will start at the end of the season. We are working on making more private wooded sites. The plan for 13 is to become a spot for parking for the new places that we create. Thank you again for your feedback.

We had a great experience! Facilities were clean, had a great time sitting by the water. Friday night there were some rowdy kids in the site next to us, and when we brought it up the next morning Kathy was right on top of it; didn't hear a peep the next night - much appreciated! We'll definitely visit again!

Great family campground. We tubed the river all day. Very close sites but who cares when your having fun In the River!!!! Great location to hike and see area attractions.

My 2 adult friends and their 6 children had a great time at the KOA at Franconia Notch! It was very easy to make reservation during this time of Covid 19 when it wasn't so easy to do so with the NH State Parks. The kids loved the pool and that really made the our little Tues.-Thurs. trip very special for them. Everything was very neat and clean. We had a blast!

The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful. I camped right on the river, it was serene, quiet. It's not far from a lot of hiking in the White Mountains & Vermont

Kathy and Bob are very kind and thoughtful. The bathroom and shower were very clean. We really enjoyed the time, playing badminton, volleyball. The river water was warm so it was a bonus for us.

It was our first time camping. It rained but everyone was so nice. Beautiful kept and lots of activities in the surrounding area. Great stay!

Used to be great, now just ok. If there's a sign telling times then please honor it the bathroom cleaning was never during the stated time, garbage wasn't picked up and the staff just wasn't very friendly.

Thank you for your comments. The bathrooms were being cleaned every 2 hours, due to the virus. When the virus is no longer an issue, we will go back to the posted cleaning times. Also, due to the virus, we were not picking up trash, but asked our guest to carry their own trash to the dumpster. Both

The staff were great, super helpful. We had a fantastic spot right on the water, however all spots looked clean and well kept etc. Bath house was clean and well stocked Simple yet efficient for our stay

The proximity of our site to the road was disappointing. Fortunately not too many cars were passing at night. The sites and the river were beautiful.

For a chain campground this place was amazing! It really had that mom and pop vibe and was just perfect. Everyone was so friendly and helpful too!

Pleasantly surprised! Mid-Sept tent camping with great amenities. We got the best tent site on the river. Quiet, post Labor Day get away hit the spot!

We were lucky to have 3 nights stay there during the peak foliage of White Mountain National Forest. With fall colors everywhere, the campground was very beautiful. The site overall was very clean and well managed. The staffs were friendly. The only concern I would say was the missing of the cell signal. Lucky that the campground provided WiFi was working just fine, even though it was sometime on and off. It will be appreciated if the host can improve the WiFi signal strength a little bit.
