Please understand the county only allows us a certain percent of sites to have fire rings, so if you'd like a site with a fire ring please let us know upon booking and we will attempt to accommodate your request. Keep fires fully contained in the fire ring and under 2 foot in height (no large fires). NEVER leave a burning fire unattended, always water down your fire or any hot embers prior to leaving your fire, especially at night.

Firewood from outside the park is not permitted. KOA sells firewood for $11.99/bundle plus tax. Purchase a firewood bundle kit that includes 2 bundles of wood, 1 pack of matches, 1 fire starter and 1 color flame pack for $24.99 plus tax.

Fishing: although we are a private campground, the Lumber River DOES require a NC state fishing license.

Available daily from 9am - 6pm

Propane is available either by filling per gallon, purchasing a new tank, or exchanging the tank by the gallon.

Cancellation Policy:If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.
Cancellation Deadlines:

• RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  
• Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

Drivers must be insured and over 16 years of age with a valid drivers license. We do not have golf carts for rent onsite.

We love and allow all well behaved pets! Always pick up after your pet and keep them on a leash at all times unless utilizing one of our Kamp K-9 Dog Parks.

Please park within your site parameters and park any extra vehicles in the overflow parking located at the office. Blocking of or parking in vacant sites is prohibited.

Visitors are welcome during office hours for a fee and must check in at the main office.

Bagged trash will be removed from your site marker area daily between 8am - 5pm, or you may throw it away into the dumpster yourself. Please note dumpsters are for daily, household trash only and not for furniture, automotive or any items larger than a lawn and leaf size trash bag. Please do not leave trash outside at night due to wildlife.
