Very enjoyable and relaxing, good shaded sites, friendly and helpful staff. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Natural Bridge. Will book this again in the future.

Stayed a week. Beautiful area of Virginia. Quiet well maintained campground. Large private sites. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely will return when back in the area.

What a wonderful host family. Never too busy to speak or assist. They reflect well on the campground. Nice pull through sites. Clean restrooms and a clean facility. Loved the facility. Very quiet.

We very much appreciated the flexibility with our late check-in. Our spot was nice and flat with private woods at the rear. The bathrooms and showers were clean and kept up, but there needs to be more of them. There was a 3 person deep wait for a shower at 8:30 at night. This campground needs to invest in gravel. Roads and every slip was muddy after light rain. Needs low lights to help see rd

Lovely campground! Well maintained grounds. Patio site was roomy. Just an FYI - The road from the highway to the campground had steep grades and was more challenging pulling a dinghy.

Great campground and wonderful amenities but the customer service is THE BEST EVER. Each member we of staff we met was genuinely kind, thoughtful and professional. Entire site is clean, lots to do, quiet when you need it. They did an amazing job at making us feel “at home”. I would recommend this campground if you are in this area. 5 stars from us.

When we checked in the lady at the desk was NOT very personable. It was like we were a burden to have her stop her work to check us in. The gentleman that does everything on the golf cart. I guess he thought my son was a destructive kid so he decided to say something to me about him lifting the white dividers on the pingpong table. He was looking for the paddles and the balls.

The campground is well kept with clean shower areas. There are all types of things to do for children. I never went swimming but they had a very nice pool. Overall, it was a very good stay and I would recommend this KOA to others.

Lovely, peaceful campground with really clean bathhouse facilities. I'm trying to give it 5 stars. Staff very friendly. Loved it and will be back.

Super friendly quiet campground where you can totally relax or set off for hiking. They deliver firewood and ice to your site. Pet friendly. Can’t wait to stay again.

This KOA was beautiful - large sites, well-groomed, shaded. The pool was very clean. The only problem we experienced was the smell of a dead animal near our site. That was unfortunate, but that's life in the woods! Otherwise, our stay was great!

Great campsite! Loved the swing on our site. The concrete pad was very nice and allowed us to spread out a little. The pool was very clean, the kids playground area was well maintained and had great equipment to keep our active 7year old busy. The dog run/walk area was great too! Friendliest staff we’ve meet, we will define back!

The staff and owners are absolutely fabulous. The grounds are spotless and the location is perfect for gaining access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Charming small towns are close by along with plenty of things to do in the area such as a visit to Natural Bridge, caverns,the James River and the D-Day landing memorial in Bedford Va..

It seems like we are treated like Royalty. From the the check in to the morning we left, the hosts and their team members were always friendly, courteous and eager to help. We consider this our Homebase KOA and try to stay there as much as possible. Love the improvements/upgrades. Keep it up. Best around KOA in 100 miles. Please consider this on a stopover.

The staff were all very pleasant. The campgrounds were well taken care of. Sites are large and most have trees for shade. Branches and other tree parts where NOT falling on MH during our 5 day stay. If you like camping away from town, this is the place for you. Blue Ridge Parkway entrance is about 3 miles from campgrounds. National D-Day WWII memorial in Bedford was a nice place to visit.

VERY NICE PARK, CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. DAN AND HIS WIFE WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND SEEING THAT ALL WAS GOOD. ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE ELECTRICITY GOING OFF. THE LAST DAY IT WENT OFF AT 3 AM AND WE LEFT AT 7 AM AND STILL NO ELECTRICITY. PLUS THE GATE WAS UNABLE TO OPEN SO WE HAD TO FIND SOMEONE TO COME AND OPEN GATE SINCE NO ELEC, THERE WAS 3 TO 4 RIGS LINED UP TO LEAVE AND COULDN'T FOR 20 MINS.

Very clean with nice amenities. Bathhouses could use an update. Why do campgrounds put campers on top of one another when there are 50 plus sites available?

Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and hospitable. Very clean and well-maintained property. The bathrooms were spotless! Just watch for water on the floor if someone was in the shower before you.

Beautiful well-maintained campground. We enjoyed the pool and privacy. Trees provided shade. We only stayed one eve--less than 24 hours, since we were en route to an event. The only suggestion is, though it wasn't their fault the power went out in the middle of the night, it would have been nice if they reached out and at least acknowledged the inconvenience, if not give at least a small credit.

We had spot 105 and it was PERFECT. Lots of space for the kids to play, on grass, and a bit more private. Owners were super nice too.
