We stayed for one night on a trip. there was no none around to check us in. Just maps with peoples names on them in a box. The campground was easy to get in and out of and appeared to be a nice place.

This was a wonderful campground. To start the pull through option and nice relatively level site were great to arrive to. The campground was clean and while close together the sites did not seem crowded nor on top of each other. The “balloon” bouncy thing was a great addition as well. We will definitely be back.

No issues really, but people flew by our camp site when they should be doing 5 mph. Very dusty because of this.

Night box was clearly marked and easy to find. Sites were clean and well maintained. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

We got in about 1430, the office was closed. I found our registration in the night box. We were assigned site 6. We occupied the site and after set-up I discovered that the water valve had been replaced with a plug. No water. We were not informed of this and did not have a choice of sites. Luckly I had enough water on board to get thru the night. Disappointed that I paid $49.50 and no water.

Only stayed one night. Roads into and around the park were in need of repair. Having a dog park was great but not many were picking up after their dogs. The trash can we’re you put your poop was full so bags were falling onto the ground. I picked up poop from at least five other dog. It sad when you provide a nice area for dogs and the owners don’t pickup after them. Please keep the dog park!

It was very easy to get into and out of. Weather wasn’t great, so we weren’t able to check out the amenities, but we will be back.

Muddy uneven site and no one at the office, during the day, to tell you which site to go to. Hose bib, attached to electrical box, was leaking… hazard! Unsafe entrance, almost had a head on with a truck coming into campground. One of the worst campgrounds I’ve stayed at in the over 40 campgrounds during my trip across the country.

We stayed for one night. It has a lot of nice features for children and pets. The bad side is that a lot of the permanent people have junk all over their sight. Windblown carpets with junk strewn all over. Why can’t they keep this clean? Also several old, abandoned trailers. It all adds up to make it look junky.

Site was large and there was lots of room between us. My biggest issue is that we were far from the bathhouse and not well lit in the park at night. I had to use my cell phone flashlight to go take a shower. Most of the shower stalls and toilet stalls were closed which was weird. But there was hot water and that’s important. There was a nice pond for fishing so would like to come back for that.

A high wind and rainstorm rolled through the campsite on Monday afternoon destroying and or damaging three canopies and solar panel on my camper trailer. I filed a claim with Allstate and they are diligently working to resolve the claim for damages that exceeded $450.00. This was my first experience with a natural disaster. However, I truly enjoyed the accommodations at KOA Journey Campground.

There was no one to welcome us when we arrived at 2 pm. We were placed in a too small spot in the very front of the park where all the roads met. Our cable and water line did not work. No one answered the phone on three attempts. Park seems to be full of permanent campers. The car noise and headlights at all hours did not lend a relaxing 3 nights. The entrance also has a sharp turn in.

The shower curtain was too short causing water leakage on floor. The bathroom heater did not work. Matches were needed to start the stove which we did not have. The campground itself was nice and pleasant.

Great place to stay. One of the few campgrounds in western Pa open all year. Very convenient to I-70, gas stations, fast food, and Cracker Barrel. We make this an annual stop on our way to Florida.

It was a brief and quiet 3-night stay. The grounds were well kept and our deluxe cabin was great with ample electrical outlets, great heat, hot water and good shower space. The staff was courteous and helpful. The futon opened to comfortable full size bed and there was a good size refrigerator. it's close to I-70 and only one exit away from necessity shopping in New Stanton.

Enjoyed our one night stay at Madison/Pittsburgh KOA to awake to a dusting of snow in November 2021. In addition to our heated hose it was comforting to know that the water source was insulated from the ground up in this year-round campground. Road construction project exiting and entering the highway will hopefully end soon.

I would give them a 5 but they were still short handed which meant limited store hours. Even with limited hours all that was needed for great service was to call the number provided and they were very responsive and eager to help out or resolve any issue. Will stay here next time we’re in the area

We like the convenience near I70. We were able to change the date of our stay without any problem. The person on the phone was very kind and helpful.

This is a campground I have used three different times this past year. I use it as my last stop before returning home. It is easy to get to off of inter state 70. The management is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this KOA to anyone who needs a place to camp in western Pa

Easily registered and obtained a site for camping. Friendly people to interact with. Helpful with directions to get to campgrounds from another campground to help avoid super sharp left hand turn without tolls and narrow windy roads.
