This huge KOA is very nicely maintained! Nice location, nice layout of cabins, nice fireplace heater in cabin, nice close and clean restrooms. This KOA is close to beach access that is peaceful and secluded. Hope to stay here again soon!! Nice campground!

Absolutely amazing! Cabin was clean, staff were friendly, the showers/bathrooms were always clean. Just a great place to vacation! Already booked another stay for next month!

Our stay was ok , the area is beautiful but over all the park needs some attention. Restrooms were old and not clean. The trash and recycling bins are very dirty . Most of the dog bag stations were out of bags I’m a dog lover , but certain breeds should not be in the park. Two of the four days , guests had the dogs off leash in the tent area . Very nice sites and facilities. Nice trail down to the beautiful beach/state park. Great staff, very helpful when we asked to move to a different site. Really crowded though so if your looking for a relaxed quiet place this isn’t it,

Nice facility, great location, helpful staff. I would like to see rule limiting music volume from campers. There was a large group in a cabin near my tent site playing excessively loud "music" throughout the evening. Thanks

Always a relaxing stay with a clean and tidy campground, friendly staff, and good camping neighbors. Been here at least 10 times over the past 20 years and it's a family favorite place to camp. All within a short distance to the beach, Point Arena Lighthouse, and Mendocino and Fort Bragg (both of the latter are moderate day trips).

This is the nicest campground we ever stayed at. It is beautiful surrounded with trees. A swimming pool and hot tub. A very large fenced in dog park. We have a 33 foot RV with slides. There was a lot of room for our RV and keep. It is 1 miles from the beach. And is in one of the most beautiful places in the United States.

Sites are large although this campground has gotten run down. We have not stayed here in quite a number of years and we remember this facility being alot cleaner and the roads in the campground were not full of pot holes. They need to put down some base rock. Location of the campground is great for short travel to beautiful accessible beaches. Office staff is not very friendly as in the past.

After reading other camper reviews we expected a much different stay. Upon arrival the campground was extremely crowded and the facilities were dirty. The quiet hours were not enforced and the campers in this KOA were not respectful of others space or the facility. We will not book this KOA again or recommend it to anyone

Beautiful, well-equipped campground for all types of campers. Will definitely stay here again. Kids were very happy with the movies, pool and playgrounds. There is something for everyone.

Family has been coming to Manchester for several years. This year we rented two separate trailers-both had issues. Refrigerator in one didn't work and the other had no hot water. Maintenance tried to fix the issues several times. Systems would work for awhile then quit again. For what we paid, it was disappointing. Campground is very pleasant and close to a great walking beach.

The office staff were not friendly. No internet. Creepy guy on a golf cart staring at the girls. Why close the bathrooms at 9am when everyone is trying to get ready? Not up to par with the last four KOA's we stayed at..

My husband and I were tent camping. This is likely the best KOA for tents anywhere. Most of the spaces are large and shaded and away from the RVs and cabins. The grounds are very well maintained and the bathrooms/showers are clean and updated. The pool and hot tub are fun additions after a day of hiking on the Stornetta coastal trail.

Stayed at a tent site and had a great time! Great service and clean facilities. I’ve stayed at this KOA about 3 times and every time was awesome! Highly recommend this KOA!

Had a great day and a perfect campsite. The only problem was trying to get into the jacuzzi. Each time that we went there were kids in it and not adults.

The sites were nice and well shaded. The staff was friendly. No cell reception and terrible wi-fi. It would be helpful to have a sign where you exit the KOA to walk to the beach that gave an approximate distance to the the beach. We gave up the first day, and the second day walked down the road to the Manchester Beach Park entrance.

Had a 2 night reservation and stayed for 1. Asked for a refund for 2nd night and were refused. Reason we left. 1 no working wifi 2 paid for cable rv and cable not working 3 pets allowed but not allowed on beach. I missed a conference call because of no access to wifi. gave a 2 rating because the maintenance man was wonderful Very disappointed as we drove up from the Bay Area

One of the last stops we had while travelling to Fort Bragg from Bay Area. There are many photogenic submerged rock formations, and there is an arch rock viewpoint as well. There is famous, private campgrounds for multiple activities which themselves may take a long weekend. Also the namesake State Park is well known for its flora and fauna, and the long equestrian trails. A coworker told me that there is a nice meat restaurant nearby, but we were too late to explore those.

Our granddaughter's wedding was held here and it was beautiful. The management and staff were so accommodating and willing to work with and help us in any way possible! The setting was so pretty. And the reception hall was perfect. Lots of room.
