3 star rating because if you advertise on your website that you have WiFi you should have WiFi! Especially when you don't plan on having it "fixed" anytime soon. There is no cell reception in the area so WiFi is a must! Especially for those that need to be connected for work purposes. Also, provide the option of selecting a more private area if you don't have children..not give spots next to act

The staff was all very professional, helpful and very positive. We enjoyed all the fun activities and had a wonderful stay. Thank you for making our Fourth of July one to remember after such a tough year. See you next year for sure!

We enjoyed our large backin site next to the HUGE dog park. No traffic noise and lots of fresh sea air. The restrooms were private and clean. The road is from the north has some steep, tight switchbacks. It’s OK if you take your time and traffic is not heavy.

A very well run KOA. Staff are really nice and keep things running smoothly. Lots to do at the campground and around the area.

All the staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The grounds are kept scrupulously clean between guest visits - picnic tables are sprayed down and wiped, any trash picked up, even the firepit was swept! We liked the store, dropped some bucks there and I love my new Manchester Beach KOA hoody :) Highly recommended!!

This campground was beautiful and we had oodles of space where I felt we could stretch out and have campfire and we were not right on top of the rig next to us… the only thing I would mention is that we have a 45 foot fifth wheel and this RV park advertises for big rigs but yet every access on the 1 into there is not recommended for rigs over 35 ft long… quite a few sketchy areas getting there

If people are going to the Manchester/Mendocino area this is a great place to stay. The surrounding area is beautiful with many places to view the ocean. Will try to return when whale watching is available. The campsites are well kept and the people friendly and helpful. The only disadvantage is the long and winding roads to get to the campground which can't be helped.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and we loved it. I didn’t expect so many amenities. The community cooking, wood delivery (super fast) clean bathrooms (always), heated pool for the kids, playground, ocean access and so much more. Only small thing i would request is upgrade bocce playing court.

Our group was there for a week and we had a great time. The kids used the park, arcade and swimming pool every day and several adults used the hot tub and laundry room.

Very poor wifi. Beach access did not allow the dogs, had we known that we would not have gone as the whole reason for choosing the location was to take the dogs to the beach. We were placed in an absolutely awful location. Constant noise and traffic. We will not go back and have already cancelled our next planned trip in August. The staff in the shop were also not friendly. Not impressed at all.

Everyone was kind and accommodating they called and upgraded us to full hookup when there was a cancellation. The store and field staff were very nice happy and friendly. My kids really had fun at the pool and buying stuff from the small store. The campgrounds were clean and it seemed like the staff was always working on preppin a site for new arrivals or emptying trash etc. GREAT group of people!

Our stay was beyond perfect! From check in to check out everybody was so kind and friendly. All the facilities were nice clean and very well-kept up. They had kids painting wall event. So much fun. And also two movie nights. Also squeezed in some frisbee golf. (Rented frisbees from front desk) it was fun! The highlight of our stay was the wine tasting event!! We re-booked for next year!

Park was in a great location. FYI do not take Mountain View road to get to the KOA unless you like 16% grades. Upkeep of the park was average. The front office was staffed with teenagers who lacked professionalism.

Bad customer service from Mackenzie on the phone and during check-in. Previous KOA sites and their staffs provided information of what what was available and where things were in the site and were friendly from the start. Wifi was spotty and calls difficult to make. Sorry I cant recommend this KOA site.

The campground has deteriorated since our visit years ago. The main roads have not been kept up, and are in sad shape. The wifi is weak, and the cable tv was so snowy we could hardly see it. The staff was very nice, and they sanitized the sights after campers left.

This was our first time at Manchester Beach KOA. And we will most definitely be coming back with the rest of our family. So much for kids. Clean facilities. Very friendly, staff and other campers.

First time ever at the Campground and it was wonderful! It’s a park like atmosphere and the friendly campers on every turn made our trip incredibly memorable. Everything you need is there. I look forward to our next visit.

One of the last stops we had while travelling to Fort Bragg from Bay Area. There are many photogenic submerged rock formations, and there is an arch rock viewpoint as well. There is famous, private campgrounds for multiple activities which themselves may take a long weekend. Also the namesake State Park is well known for its flora and fauna, and the long equestrian trails. A coworker told me that there is a nice meat restaurant nearby, but we were too late to explore those.

Our granddaughter's wedding was held here and it was beautiful. The management and staff were so accommodating and willing to work with and help us in any way possible! The setting was so pretty. And the reception hall was perfect. Lots of room.

Always fun great cabins nice hot tub and pool close to the beach and pet friendly. Helpful staff with great stories of how it was built. ❤ this place
