We had a great time, the only thing that happened was a camper had a short fence dog enclosure. The dog owners didn’t watch their dogs and they got out several times and came to our campsite.

The MANCHESTER BCH/MENDOCINO COAST KOA is a very well maintained Campground. The pull through campsite, #26, was easy to get in and out of. I would recommend however that asphalt or concrete be added to keep the dust down.

We really enjoyed staying at the Manchester KOA. The ONLY complaint we have is that the WiFI was TERRIBLE!! My husband works from our RV and needs WiFi connection for conference calls. He had to drive into Point Arena to get a WiFi signal which involved sitting in our car for 4 hours! It’s a new world for RV owners! We sold our house & our RV is our home. We HAVE TO be able to communicate!

Great location, but very dusty. I would expect with the rates they're charging, and the level of occupancy (100% every night), that more attention would be paid to things like paving the roads, which appear to have been paved at one time. Everything worked fine, but it appears, like the roads, to be old and neglected. Also, Internet Access needs to join the 21st Century.

One night stay. Well-maintained bathrooms and showers. HUGE, wide-open campground filled to capacity. No shrubs between campsites allowed zero privacy - rather like being in a fish bowl. Excessive smoke from adjacent site's campfire often filled our site with irritating toxins - wish people would use clean-burning propane campfire stoves instead. LOTS of dogs using the campground as a toilet.

We've had our Travel Trailer for 8 summers and have stayed at a wide variety of campgrounds in that time, on both the East and West Coasts and I must say that your KOA was EXCELLENT!! The location was amazing and your facilities were top notch! The sites were plenty big and I have already heartily recommended your location to our RV friends already. Well Done!!

Very friendly and helpful staff, bathrooms were very clean and site was nice. Our boys enjoyed the disc golf course and our dog loved the dog park.

Everything was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the playground and pool. The dogs enjoyed the large dog park. We will be back.

Two nights in July. Our first time here and only 2nd KIA experience. The campground is lovely with so many large mature trees. RV spots are well spaced - we did not feel crowded. Camp was clean and well cared for. We hiked the trail out to the beach - easy and pretty - and then took a long walk on the beach. It is a chilly location but that was a nice change from the heat!

Our stay was ok , the area is beautiful but over all the park needs some attention. Restrooms were old and not clean. The trash and recycling bins are very dirty . Most of the dog bag stations were out of bags I’m a dog lover , but certain breeds should not be in the park. Two of the four days , guests had the dogs off leash in the tent area . This is the nicest campground we ever stayed at. It is beautiful surrounded with trees. A swimming pool and hot tub. A very large fenced in dog park. We have a 33 foot RV with slides. There was a lot of room for our RV and keep. It is 1 miles from the beach. And is in one of the most beautiful places in the United States.

Sites are large although this campground has gotten run down. We have not stayed here in quite a number of years and we remember this facility being alot cleaner and the roads in the campground were not full of pot holes. They need to put down some base rock. Location of the campground is great for short travel to beautiful accessible beaches. Office staff is not very friendly as in the past.

After reading other camper reviews we expected a much different stay. Upon arrival the campground was extremely crowded and the facilities were dirty. The quiet hours were not enforced and the campers in this KOA were not respectful of others space or the facility. We will not book this KOA again or recommend it to anyone

The office staff were not friendly. No internet. Creepy guy on a golf cart staring at the girls. Why close the bathrooms at 9am when everyone is trying to get ready? Not up to par with the last four KOA's we stayed at..

Had a great day and a perfect campsite. The only problem was trying to get into the jacuzzi. Each time that we went there were kids in it and not adults.

The sites were nice and well shaded. The staff was friendly. No cell reception and terrible wi-fi. It would be helpful to have a sign where you exit the KOA to walk to the beach that gave an approximate distance to the the beach. We gave up the first day, and the second day walked down the road to the Manchester Beach Park entrance.

Had a 2 night reservation and stayed for 1. Asked for a refund for 2nd night and were refused. Reason we left. 1 no working wifi 2 paid for cable rv and cable not working 3 pets allowed but not allowed on beach. I missed a conference call because of no access to wifi. gave a 2 rating because the maintenance man was wonderful Very disappointed as we drove up from the Bay Area

One of the last stops we had while travelling to Fort Bragg from Bay Area. There are many photogenic submerged rock formations, and there is an arch rock viewpoint as well. There is famous, private campgrounds for multiple activities which themselves may take a long weekend. Also the namesake State Park is well known for its flora and fauna, and the long equestrian trails. A coworker told me that there is a nice meat restaurant nearby, but we were too late to explore those.

Our granddaughter's wedding was held here and it was beautiful. The management and staff were so accommodating and willing to work with and help us in any way possible! The setting was so pretty. And the reception hall was perfect. Lots of room.
