We had a nice stay. The campground is very neat and clean. I particularly like the wood service to our site. The dog park was an added plus. The one thing that would prevent me from returning is the fact that you can’t bring your dog on any of the beaches adjacent to the park. Not KOA’s fault but makes it hard to go for a walk with your dog.

Great open sites, not crowded. The only negative was the wifi. When I checked in, I was told the wifi was down for two weeks. The next morning at 7 am, I ended up driving around for 45 minutes to find very sketchy connection for an 8 am Zoom meeting.

Great campground with privacy hedges around the individual sites, nice showers. The managers of the site went above and beyond when handling our check in after a hiccup in our itinerary and ETA. Very quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

We had four families that stayed at Manchester Beach KOA. We had 7 adults and 7 children, 1 5th wheel, 1 bumper pull, and 1 in a deluxe cabin. We have nothing but great things to say about the campground. The staff was efficient, friendly, and accommodating, the campgrounds were very clean and peaceful, and the setting was beautiful. The short trip to the magnificent ocean was handy! Thank you!

Friendly staff. Facilities well maintained. No internet or cell phone service, broken and down for "couple of weeks", (not sure why repair takes so long.) I'm self employed so I am always checking my email. Couldn't do it here. Nice walk to the beach. And a beautiful drive to Fort Bragg/Mendocino, about an hour away. Plenty to do on a day trip from Manchester koa.

Though our stay was brief (one night on a 3 day camping trip) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our family loved the atmosphere being surrounded by trees and dirt roads. It have a camping vibe that we were going for! Friendly and helpful staff, great facilities and best part is its half a mile from a beautiful beach!

campground staff is very friendly. Large campsites and clean facilities. The weather was very cold, but the hot tub was in a sheltered, covered location. That was great. The only drawback to this KOA is the location is quite remote from tourist areas: eg: Mendocino.

I'm so torn... would I tell friends and family members? Yes, in fact, I already have... Do I want more people find out about this absolute GEM of a KOA? Not really!!! In all seriously, my family absolutely LOVES this KOA and we intend to continue making our annual trip over to escape the brutal NorCal summer heat.

Lots of shade and close to Manchester State Park. (Within walking distance). However the sites were close together and noisy.

The Manchester Beach KOA is one of the most beautiful, well maintained campgrounds we have stayed in during our 30 plus years of camping. We thoroughly enjoyed our four days exploring the area and would stay there again without hesitation.

We loved this KOA! The spaces are large and encourage gathering outside. The hot tub and pool area was clean, uncrowded, and a great temperature. I wish we had known about the individual shower and bathrooms before our last day because of that added privacy. We also really appreciate the double gated dog park. It helps our dogs so much to have a place to get off leash before they enter the park.

The campground was nice, my site was large and the dog park was excellent. The campground could use a few more showers. The tent site across the road didn’t have water, so people walked onto my site all evening using my water.

This is one of the best places we stay at. The dog play yard is huge, which our dogs love and so do our Grandkids.) The grounds are well maintained and the staff there are very friendly and helpful.. It is away from the highway far enough that it is quiet. We have stayed there several times and will stay there again. Especially when it gets to 100 where we live.

Our campsite was clean when we arrived but we were next to the main road coming into the campground. Every time cars drove by the dust was pronounced and sometimes overwhelming. There is no pavement in the campground and because there had been no rain, our entire visit was marred by dust flying in our face while we were trying to sit outside. The office personnel were friendly and helpful.

Absolutely beautiful campground with amazing features of the kamp kitchen and very family friendly, they even had a movie night for all the campers when we were there. We will definitely be back!

Had a great time. Had some issues with a family of tent campers cutting through our campsite. They did the same with our friends site, even when they were nicely asked not to. Amenities need some repair such as the disc golf area. Overall we are never disappointed. Will return soon!

The campgrounds is lovely and shady, however, the sites are not very level, even around the fire pits. It's difficult to position a folding chair among the ruts. The pool area had a propane leak that was very strong. As far as staff, they all looked quite young and didn't engage much. Our grandchild enjoyed the children's amenities. We stayed in a 40' motor coach.

Disappointed my space/area did not have tv reception. No full hook up as well & the dump station was so frustrating. The metal cap to dump station was hinged therefor it would NOT fully open and what a mess. That has to be addressed to fully open the entire cap to avoid a messy problem. It was a ridiculous process. I found the office staff /ground help to be very helpful and efficient .

Phone calls prior to our stay were answered promptly and professionally. When we arrived, check in was concise and informative yet friendly. Bathrooms and facilities are updated and clean. The pool area is nicely kept. The dump station, while small, is very well appointed. We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The trail to Manchester Beach is nice too. Great place! Cool temps.

Our 3rd Annual trip. It was awesome. Hot tub clean, pool clean. Staff helpful and nice and it was busy when we got in! I noticed that the bathrooms were cleaned pretty steadily. I have no complaints. We'll be back in October!

The park is OK, but difficult to reach. Towing a 30' fifth wheel into or out of Manchester Beach is an exercise in white knuckle driving. At the park, there is no cell service and no wifi. Water pressure and voltage were good.

Great first time RV camp site! The staff is friendly, helpful and ready to help out! Services are available, sites are clean, campground is quiet and clean. Thank you Manchester Beach KOA! As a side note, do not take Mountain View Road to get there, you will receive a certificate for your ignorance like I did. Come from the coast, trust me.

Helpful and friendly service. A very child friendly place, including nightly free movies. Their campers kitchen is an amenity I've never seen before which saved the day for me when I ran out of fuel for my tiny camp stove. It is a covered area with electric cook tops, large kitchen sinks, a microwave, and seating for all to share. Also met other campers around the campers kitchen.

One of the last stops we had while travelling to Fort Bragg from Bay Area. There are many photogenic submerged rock formations, and there is an arch rock viewpoint as well. There is famous, private campgrounds for multiple activities which themselves may take a long weekend. Also the namesake State Park is well known for its flora and fauna, and the long equestrian trails. A coworker told me that there is a nice meat restaurant nearby, but we were too late to explore those.

Our granddaughter's wedding was held here and it was beautiful. The management and staff were so accommodating and willing to work with and help us in any way possible! The setting was so pretty. And the reception hall was perfect. Lots of room.
