Mesa / Apache Junction KOA Journey General Information

The Registration Desk and Store summer hours are from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm daily. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm - 7:00 am. We have a well-lit registration area next to the front door of the store that makes it easy to check in late. For late arrivals with a reservation, there will be an envelope in the Night Registration box with your name on it and a site map with your site inside. For late-night walk-ins, available sites will be left in the Night Registration box. Just fill out the envelope with the site you need and slip it through the office door.

Unsecured and limited.  Not capable of streaming or surfing.

Pinal County has a fire ban in effect each year from May 1 through September 31. This policy bans all open flame fires except propane fueled. This ban includes wood fueled camp fires.  During the remaining part of the year, all open fires must be contained with a guest provided fire pit/grill. There are no campfires allowed on the ground within a hand made fire pit/ring.

Extended stays are on a month to month basis.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Effective 10-1-2024 - If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text, email or phone message notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

CANCELLATION DEADLINES:

• RV & Tent Sites:  You must give 7 days cancellation notice.  Call the KOA you made the reservation with by 4:00 pm, seven(7) days before your scheduled arrival.
  
• Lodging & accommodations:  You must give 14 days cancellation notice.  Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4:00 pm., fourteen (14) days before your scheduled arrival. 
  

CANCELLATION DETAILS:

• Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  
• Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  
• No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including NO SHOWS and early departures.
  
• No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
  
• Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
  
• The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  
• Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements.  Please check with your selected KOA for details.

Good behavior is a must:
Owners of dogs and cats of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to remove their pet from the campground.

All sites have a maximum pet limit of four(4).
Pet friendly cabins have a pet limit of two (2).

Rates are subject to change without notice.

There are NO REFUNDS on unused rent, nor pro-rating or subleasing of sites.

The unused, paid portions of any site rent may not be gifted, willed or transferred for their use to any other than the registered guest of said site.

Rates are subject to change in accordance with resort policy.

Our swimming pool and spa are open 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 7 days a week.

Check-in Time RV/Tent sites/Cabins: 1:00 PM (A $30 fee applies for check-ins prior to 12 PM, contingent on site availability)
Check-out Time RV/Tent sites/Cabins: 11:00 AM (A $30 fee applies for check-outs between 12 PM and 2 PM. *Additional daily rates apply after 2 PM).  
Late check-outs must be requested and paid for in the office before 10:30 AM and are granted on a space-available basis.
No parking/waiting on park property before or after check-in/out times.                 
Check-out must be at the time guests have left the park, not just the site.

Our newly renovated Laundry Room is available 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.

Our Clubhouse is open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.
Enjoy TV, Corn Hole, Ladder golf, Ping-Pong, a game of pool or relax and read your favorite book.

When making your reservation you may request a specific site for a non-refundable fee of $50.00. We reserve the right to move reservations as needed up until your arrival time unless you requested a specific site. The type of site you reserve is guaranteed, however. For example, if you reserve a full hook-up pull-through, that is what you will get and we will not move you into a full hook-up back in.

We are the James, Gary and Cheryl.
We feel incredibly fortunate to be managing this beautiful KOA. Every morning the golden beams of the sun
appear from behind the Superstition Mountains of Arizona to shine down on the Mesa/Apache Junction
KOA.

We are excited to greet each guest, and to meet new friends. Our guests
are our #1 priority.

We have many fond memories of our own camping adventures through the years, and strive to make your experience with
