Ushering Shakespeare's immortal stories of life, love, and tragedy into a modern era, MSIP is dedicated to preserving the cultural traditions of theatre and literature. Audiences will discover the magic of Shakespeare through a progressive and inclusive lens, where universal truths of mankind are united through stories that stretch beyond space and time. Founded on the firm belief that Shakespeare belongs to everyone, the accomplished company of performers and staff work tirelessly to connect people, communities, and the arts, as they spread messages of unity and understanding. The Eastern Montana Fairgrounds holds many activities throughout the year. The biggest is the Eastern Montana Fair which is held in August of each year. Many local activities are held at the fairgrounds some include rodeos, horse racing, carnivals, and demolition derbies. It is the home of the Miles City Youth Hockey Association the “Generals”, Weddings and the world-famous Bucking Horse Sale. Free stage: Randy's Freckle Farm pony Ride & petting zoo. The pony rides and petting zoo have been family-owned and operated for 32 years. The petting zoo features a variety of animals including goats, sheep, potbellied pigs, chickens, ducks, bunnies and of course our popular alpacas and mini donkey. The pony ride centers around a 28' enclosed 5-pony carousel. All pony saddles are equipped with a safety seatbelt to ensure a safe and fun ride. A 4 x 6 digital photo with a wooden frame will be provided.
