What are your check-in and check-out times? 

  • Check-Out: 11:00 AM, all sites and accommodations
  • Check-In: RVs 1:00 PM
  • Check-In: Cabins, Teepees, Tents 3:00 PM Tents must be set up by Dusk. 
  • Please, no early check-ins!
  • Please, no late check-outs!

We do require a picture ID at check-in.

What kind of RV is allowed?

All RVs must be RVIA certified! RVs more than 10 years old must be approved in advance by management. All RVs are subject to review and approval by management. We reserve the right to refuse service based on RV age, appearance, and condition. Please send pictures to [email protected]. No School Buses or Conversions Allowed. Staying in Horse Trailers or Cargo Trailers is not allowed. Click Here to Reserve!

What are your RV site requirements?

If you are towing anything, we need to know in advance. Please, no rugs on the grass of your site. Tents are not allowed on our RV sites. Automatic Sprinklers on sites are from midnight to 5:00 AM - you may want to cover or take items inside at night. Maximum Stay is 28 days unless pre-approved for a long-term site. No third-party payments. Please call our registration staff for more information and options. 1-406-549-0881.

Can you handle our long RV & tow vehicle?

Yes - we have many long, pull-through sites with room for your slide-outs and awnings. We can accommodate rigs up to 45 feet plus tow. If we are not informed of tows, the reserved site just might not work and another site long enough to accommodate might not be available. When reserving online, there is a section for special requests, and you can describe your tow vehicle there.

What are your tent site requirements?

A Tent is Required. Sleeping in a vehicle is not allowed. A vehicle is required to stay in our Tent Sites. No tow vehicles at tent sites. Tents must be set up by Dusk. Exception: Premium Tent Sites can be used as an alternative to small RV Sites for Pickup Campers, Sprinter Vans, Tear Drop Trailers, and Pop-Up Tent Trailers. 2 Pet Maximum in tent sites. Please, No Livestock. Limit one vehicle per tent site. Limit 6 people per tent site. No third-party payments. Maximum stay on all tent sites is 7 days. Click Here to Reserve!

What are your Lodging requirements?

Deluxe Cabins, Camping Cabins & Teepees: CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS ONLY. NO DEBIT CARDS ALLOWED. This means if you used a card that says debit on it to make your reservation, at check-in, we will require you to pay with a credit card. We will refund your debit card and process your credit card for the payment. We can only accept credit cards for camping cabin payments. We can only accept a credit card from the person who is named on the reservation. NO THIRD PARTY PAYMENTS. A vehicle is required to stay in our lodging facilities. Click Here to Reserve!

What is your Lodging with Linens requirements?

Deluxe Cabins. No smoking. No pets. At the time of registration for our Deluxe Cabins (Big Bear and Little Bear), a Damage Fee of $150.00 will be charged, as well as any charges not covered by the initial deposit. The damage fee will be refunded if the accommodation is left in good order within 3 days of your departure. Note: Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year’s Holidays, there could be a delay of deposit refund when the office is closed. A 2-day minimum stay is required in May, June, July, August, and September. A vehicle is required to stay in our Deluxe Cabins. No pets in lodging with linens. No Smoking. Tow vehicles are not allowed at lodging sites. Tents are not permitted. 7-day maximum stay policy for lodging.

What is your Lodging Without Linens requirements?

Camping Cabins and Teepees. No smoking. 2 Dog Maximum in Camping Cabins and Teepees. Traveling with pets, a $20 pet fee will be charged at check-in. No cats in Camping Cabins and Teepees. Please, No Livestock. Room for 1 vehicle only. A vehicle is required to stay in our Camping Cabins. No room for extra vehicles. No Tow vehicles at cabins or Teepees. No tents at cabin or Teepee sites. 7-day maximum stay policy for cabin and Teepee rentals. Note: Winter months, the Cabins and Teepees are NOT AVAILABLE from Mid-October through April.

Can we bring our pets to your campground?

Yes, of course! For you dog lovers, dogs must be kept on a leash (6’ or less). We have 3 KampK9 dog walks for your convenience. Please be so kind as to clean up after them. All we ask is that you are courteous to our other guests, and we thank you in advance for this!! No Cats in Camping Cabins and Teepees. Please, No Livestock. KOA Pet Policy Click Here. For camping cabins and Teepees, a $20 pet fee will be charged at check-in.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call Missoula KOA Holiday before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations are not acceptable.

  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Camping Cabins: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Deluxe Cabins & Unique Lodging Units: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

Can I stay longer than my reservation?

We will do our best to meet your requests! You may have to move to a different site if reservations are scheduled for the site you are on. We do book up daily in the summer, so please plan ahead!

Can I have a campfire?

Open campfires are permitted only at designated fire rings. All sites at Missoula KOA have fire rings. Deluxe Cabins and Teepee sites also have a gas BBQ grill. You can also use our Community Campfire Area at Elmer’s Park if you want a group campfire. We do sell firewood. For more information on campfires, Click Here. We do have a gas fire experience at the Gathering Place / Food Truck patio south of the Registration office.

Can I bring my own firewood?

We prefer you to use local firewood. No outside firewood is allowed in the park. You can purchase firewood at Missoula KOA - We will deliver it to your site. Click Here to learn more. 

Can I check my email?

FREE Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) Service is available throughout the campground.

Do I have to make a reservation to stay at your campground?

We do suggest you make a reservation, so you get the hookups and amenities you desire. We do accept walk-ins, but during June, July, and August, our campground is the busiest and you could be disappointed. You should make a reservation for Teepees, Deluxe Cabins, or Camping Cabins! If you don’t, there most likely won’t be any available! Click Here to go to our Rates and Reservation information page. Can An (EV) Electric Vehicle be Charged at Missoula KOA Holiday.

No, we do not allow electric vehicle charging at Missoula KOA Holiday; our pedestals cannot handle the load that an electric vehicle puts on our system. Click Here for more information

Do you have a fitness center?

Yes, we have a climate-controlled fitness center with a Peloton Bike, a Nordic Track treadmill and a weight bench w/weights. There is a TV with YouTube TV for your enjoyment.

Do you have monthly/Long Term/Extended Stay rates?
