We came here as a family for 10+ years, we all moved away and made our way back to Michigan! Came back after maybe 5+ years away from KOA and they completely updated the whole campground! Absolutely amazing, our kids couldn’t get enough! We will be back!!! Thank you for a great time and amazing friendly staff!

Loved all the activities KOA offered during our stay. Sarah was a pleasure to talk to during the volleyball tournament. Will definitely be back next year!!

Many things need upgraded and/or repaired. I had a deluxe cabin and my friends had 2 cabins. Too many small things to list but it is obvious there is no preventative maintenance being done. During my stay the septic tank next to my cabin overflowed. This was a stinky mess. Aren't septic tanks supposed to be pumped on a regular basis? Also, things that could cause a potential safety hazard.

Site #85 should be for tents only !!!! we only had a pop up and had very hard time getting it on the site. the 2 trees at the road cut size of lot down a lot and was hard to put are pop up on site. we did it but got yelled at by camper next to us because we were on there site to get pop up in place.NOT the the way to start a vacation trying to fit in to a extra small space and getting yelled at

There is so much to do! If you get bored, it's your own fault! Great job of organizing activities! Needs more full hookup sites. Need to lay gravel on roads and gravel actual sites where trailers or RV will be parked. We will definitely return! Thanks Monroe KOA for a great weekend!

Amazing workers but they couldn’t keep up with the bathrooms they were absolutely gross �Ï©. Also way to crowed and very rude people staying . The cabin was built very poorly I will not come back to this Koa and I’ll people know not to waste their money .

Site as dirty when we arrived, fire pit was full of trash. Only one bike available to rent for older kids. Only two paddle boats and two canoes were available to rent. I know it’s not the largest campground but to have a full campground and barely any rental equipment when you are a commercial camp ground was frustrating. Better off staying rustic at a state park where it’s cheaper.

Nice park and play area for the kid. Beach and swimming lake was a huge hit. Not a bad stay. Had nice activities for the kids. Would think of staying again.

Easy on and off highway. Get rid of fire pits as it's impossible to breathe. Centralized fire pit for all away from campsites would be a winner.

Arrived with 45ft coach + toad. There seems to be only a few sites for our size, we fit and maneuvered fine. Wonderful swimming pond and lots of stuff for kiddos to do. Didn’t use amenities. Easy off/on main road. Staff friendly. Lots of puddles from a recent rain, and sites/road could use some gravel (most were dirt/gravel/grass) Nice mature trees. We would return for an overnight or two.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to see VERY few campers at the campground and it was VERY relaxing and quiet. Wednesday evening we left our campsite and returned home for a funeral for a family member and returned to the campground Friday afternoon. The difference was like night and day! The campground was packed, VERY LOUD and we had difficulties sleeping at night.

Many of the amenities were closed which is understandable however none of that was relayed prior to coming. I specifically called and asked about the bikes and was told they would be open and available which they were not during our stay.

Full hook up sites are way to small. No golf carts allowed. No staff at night. ALot of loud campfires, and people fighting in the street till 430 am

It was ok the cabins was nice the beach an water was great the play area for the kids was the worst when we first arrived to the playground my daughter sat on the swing an fall an Stubbed he fingers because someone decided to put the swing back together with no screws but other that we had a ok time wish the slide was open

This is always one of my favorite places to stay while I am traveling in the summer. It is a large and really nice campground, lots of trees, and lots of fun things to do, especially for kids. Lots of nice walks for the dogs, too. They only have a couple of pull throughs for bigger RV's but they are building a bunch more.

The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and approachable. We arrived on motorcycles, and were told we needed to purchase three bundles of wood to get delivery. Never experienced that at a KOA. We opted out and later purchased from one of the many golf carts riding through with wood. On Friday night, the campground was loud until 2am. Nobody enforced quiet time.

We rented 221 and 222. One cabin the ac unit leaked water all over the floor and in the other cabin the plumbing leaked all over the dishes leaving a bunch of water in the pans in the kitchen under the sink. If it weren't for those 2 things it would have been perfect

Dust bowl, time to put black top in on main drive and get rid of some pine trees that drip sap all over your vehicles.

Spent time fishing, swimming at the beach. A lot of BBQ Had a great time. Will be back. The only disappointment was the shower I’m out deluxe cabin only had Very hot water at a trickle. Any pressure at all made it freezing cold. Also they do not provide any linens or dishes or pans.

Very loud being so close to neighbors when they could have spaced campers out when half the campground was empty the entire weekend. Events and things were nice but could have simply been included since the per night cost is so high versus having additional fees. I understand t-shirt or canvas purchases, but things like popcorn and water could have been complimentary.

My wife, kids and I love KOA campgrounds, but this one especially. It is a large well organized grounds with a friendly staff. The man-made lake is the main attraction for us when you want to hit the beach during your camping trip. Always a great time!

We had fun and will be back! Did complain about loud music with profanity in it from sites 17-21 and you took care of it but it continued off and on. I hope the offenders were flagged so they can't come back. It is people like them that will ruin your business, I know as I worked at a campground for 12 years myself and I heard a lot of complaints and if not taken care of people won't return.

I have been coming here for 25 yrs and I come every year multiple times , there was a power outage when I got there which , the power company was on site working on it , we had a awesome time there , but our tv never did work , and we were a lil sad that the snack shack was closed , we love those funnel fries , but we will get them on our next trip , we are booked with 5 sites for � halloween !

Good, disappointed in the fact store closed to purchase firewood on Saturday. Announcement should be made letting campers know. Also when making announcements repeat it twice.

we love the Monroe KOA!! we come every year at least once. We stayed at site 84 and loved how spacious and shaded it was. My only complaint from this recent stay was the swimming lake had A LOT of seaweed and leaves (like everywhere you stepped you did not feel sand) Normally it's very clean, sandy, and blue. Hoping it's just because we stayed early in the season :)

I have been coming here for over 30 yrs. now I’m bringing my grandkids. I loved this place, however this year I have some complaints after just 1 weekend. Your pond is not only disgusting and unsanitary but down right hazardous due to abundance of thick green hairlike algae, employees agreed it was gross. Gross unkept beach, no security, many more complaints. DISAPPOINTED. Hope u get it togethe

They went out of their way to help me when I got there and was always very helpful anytime my family needed something even after hours after the store closed which I would recommend the store stay open a little later then 5 or 7 .

We love going to koa.. but we wanted a cabin, all were booked so i went and spent about 250 on tents and air mattresses. But when i called to check in there was a cabin available, but i had allready spent much money so we did thee tent site, which we always love as well.. but was alittle disapointed with swimming in lake as there was soooooo much seaweed that you really couldnt swim

It was a nice stay, we weren't expecting the cabins we stayed in to be so incredibly close to each other but we were able to see the grounds and know which ones we would book for our next stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. These grounds are easy on, easy off from the highway but not so close that you hear the traffic. Would recommend.

Great place for families with kids. We requested a full hookup site and after I got setup, I found out we didn't have sewer on the site.

Thank you koa. Our family has had a great summer thanks to your staff. Special thanks to Chris Laura stephan and Bob. I have never been somewhere with such an amazing group of people looking to only make sure my family has all the opportunities to be happy and have a great time. You guys are the reason I will continue to come back and choose to spend my time and hard earned money which every time I do is worth it! Thank u see u next year
