I choose a spot and when I arrived it was switched but my stay was free. I was upset my spot was changed but my stay was pleasant.

We've always camped at koa's and would have to say that this one in Petersburg MI is the best by far.

Was great until the weekend (Friday, Saturday) when the loud drunks were out past quiet time at their site. Had to have security talk to them numerous times from 11pm-2pm until I had enough and had to call the park manager and nearly call the police. You need to stick to your policy and inform stayers that you either comply or be told to leave.

The electric site was great but the rustic site let me down because the lawn was pretty tall and not taken care of.

It was Excellent!!! Very friendly staff everyone was extremely helpful, courteous, and welcoming!! We have the upmost respect for this KOA and all the staff!! We WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!!

Really enjoyed the lake and beach, also the waterslide was fun for the kids. Only negative was that the putt putt course needed to be cleaned and maybe upgraded.

As always we had a great camping experience! All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. Cabin was clean. Kids had an awesome time! When we needed any type of assistance, staff was right there to help out.

Staff makes it all worth the stay. We have been coming here for years and is by far our kids favorite camp ground and us adults have to agree. The grounds are kept clean and up to date. Staff is constantly patrolling and picking up debris and they go out of their way to say Hi. My family just booked our 3rd stay within a months time.

We had never been to a KOA before and us adults and our 4 kids had a great time! There was so much to do for everyone, we have to go back because we didn't get to it all in 4 days! (Granted the amazing lake and fun waterslide took up much of our time.) The staff was all cheerful and helpful, the camp was clean, we have no complaints at all.

Only two things that need work on are getting the grass cut on sites and getting a better or bigger trash system. The garbage was overflowing on Monday. They didn't pick up Monday after the weekend, but they did come Tuesday. They were already showing over the top of some of them by Thursday. Either need bigger trash bins or they need to come even more often.

We just had our 7th Family Reunion and have been going to this location for 5 years now, the staff is friendly and always helpful . We are ready to book next years there as well. Thank you KOA staff for making our reunion so memorable .

The people were very friendly the campground was clean. The restrooms were clean. My only complaint was the beds in the cabin. We will never rent another cabin. The bed was so uncomfortable I slept in our truck the first night. The second night I took the mats from the other beds to double them up.. I'm 61 yrs old and I'd rather put my tent up then to try to sleep on those beds again.

We had a wonderful time! Staff were very helpful. There were so many activities and things for our kids to do, they had a blast! We were impressed with the cleanilness and can’t wait to book again for next year.

We had a Great time as always! This was our 4th trip this year and haven't been disappointed yet, very friendly staff and fun activities to do. The only thing that we would Love to see is the hand dipped ice cream cones from the snack shack like the previous owners had that you could purchase all day long. Everyone loves ice cream and I am sure you would sell a lot and could be a big money maker!

We LOVE the Monroe KOA. All the activities you guys have planned as well as the large swimming area and water slide the kids never complain they are bored or there isn’t anything to do! We will definitely continue staying there!

The sites were all dirt. The rain didn’t help the mud but if they were grassy it wouldn’t have been so muddy. Roads had lots of pot holes and standing water. Yuck! Your activities are fun but didn’t have enough supplies. In the middle of summer you have to expect a lot of kids. We waited in line for 30 mins for your build a bear activity. Many amenities were broken or required repairs. Campsites are too close together. There is no enforcement of a family friendly atmosphere. Quiet times we’re not respected by our too close neighbors. We were up well past 2 on Saturday evening after our intoxicated neighbors (from the 3 surrounding sites) partied and used profanity while my children tried to sleep. Their music choice was the worst

Really a disorganized place. Improper planning causes unhappy campers. They know how many campers are coming not sure why it is so hard to plan accordingly. Restrooms need to be update or at least a deep cleaning.

This is our favorite campground. Wonderful staff, facilities, atmosphere. Fishing pond, swimming pond, and water slide our amazing! We were on site 50. Needs a lot of leveling!!! Pot holes need to filled all over the campground on sites and roads.

This was our first stay at the campground. Our only complaint is the bathroom/shower facilities. They were definitely in need of cleaning. The staff were very, very nice. The campground has a lot of activities to keep children busy. It was Christmas in July, so we had fun looking at all the decorations and even had a visit from Santa. We had a great weekend!

Had a very great stay, only thing about our cabin is that there wasnt too much info about the layout and what would and wouldnt be inside it,for instance there wasnt a mirror for the bathroom, seems silly but that's something u need especially if you're going to have a bathroom inside your cabin. Other then that loved it.

Thank you koa. Our family has had a great summer thanks to your staff. Special thanks to Chris Laura stephan and Bob. I have never been somewhere with such an amazing group of people looking to only make sure my family has all the opportunities to be happy and have a great time. You guys are the reason I will continue to come back and choose to spend my time and hard earned money which every time I do is worth it! Thank u see u next year
