We love koa.. visit several times a season.. this time tho our power went out 5 times... I would have thought we would have been offered "something " for our inconvenience in the hot humid weather. Being left with no fan, a/c... that is why we have a camper. We are in our 50's "to old to be roughing it" lol

Wonderful staff and lots of activities for the kids! The staff seemed to enjoy their job which isn’t always the case so that was really nice as well.

Great options for camping, tent, cabins. Awesome activity team! My kids loved it all! The lake was warm and clean. Everything was well kept. It was a bit pricey for a one-night tent stay. The sites were pretty packed together.

It was good. Didn’t really like our site, lots of dirt and not much space. Overall the rest of the campground made up for the site. Good playground, great swimming area. We will be back, just a different site.

It’s a large campground but everyone was crammed into the same area. Reserved a pull through site but I couldn’t pull through and could barely back in. Store closed earlier than the posted hours. Trash was left all over the place. The grill at the snack shack was absolutely disgusting. Glad it wasn’t open because it would have probably made us sick.

It was GREAT! But the restrooms by the boat and bike shack are disgusting!!!! Especially the weekends! The showers looked horrible! I showered up front. I ask EVERY year fir thise restrooms to be cleaned PROPERLY! LIKE ALL DAY LONG ON WEEKENDS. Maybe next year they will be. I might check.

We had a lovely time and we will certainly be visiting again! My only gripe is a small one, the campground rules state that grey water can be dumped in the sewer grates but those are not clearly marked on the campground map. There are only two dump stations on the grounds which could be quite a trek for some campers, so the info would be nice. Lovely, warm and knowledgeable staff!

They put us in a very narrow spot Rey hard to maneuver into camp site no one escorted us to the spot, man made lake dyed blue but felt dirty no water return cleaning system

It is pretty run down, the sites are extremely tight, and people were disrespectful (i.e. On the beach being loud from 1-2:30am and had to call the after hours line to get them to leave, kids without supervision touching other people’s stuff, etc.). Cigarette butts were everywhere and trash was left all over the beach. Cops were also called on some disorderly folks. Definitely won’t be back!

My family loves Monroe Koa! Lots of activities for the kids. Always clean and well kept and taken care of. Excellent staff everyone’s very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this KOA!

Was very disappointed that I paid for a sight with water and electric but the box was in the middle of someone else’s site and they placed their tent Right up against it so it was not usable to us

The campground was very clean and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We spent the weekend for my sons birthday and had several different groups and the staff did their best to keep us all together and communicated well. My kids had a blast, there was quite a bit to do there that kept my kids busy all day. We will most definitely be back again.

I had a great stay. Lots to do. I didn’t really care for the dirt VS grass at all five camp sites. There was a lot Of Weed smoking going on and the smell was pretty bad at out sites.

Monroe KOA is the favorite campground for my family. The grounds are clean, the staff is all very friendly and I love the fact that dogs are welcome as well. The activities for kids and families is so awesome! I cannot rave enough about the campground at this location

We spent the weekend with two young granddaughters 5 & 6. They couldn't get enough of the swimming pond and the waterslide.

Had a great time! My only complaint is that we paid for a grass pad tent site and there was zero grass. Just a bunch of mud/dirt. But other than that, it was great!

Stay was great, site near us had some domestic violence issues at around 4am. We did not make a late night complaint as we did not want to have their anger directed towards us.

The bathrooms and showers were extremely dirty. The staff was very nice. The camp spot was nice.

I would have preferred not to be in the middle of “tent city”. Loud music late into the evening. 2 or 3 people were fighting in the row behind us and it kept my wife up in the middle of the night.

We checked in a little early the people that were in the site left it a mess . The staff was there in 2 minutes too clean up. Everyone there was so nice, we had a great time ,planning our next stay�

The only complaint is that they asked us if we had any guests visiting and we said yes and they didn’t inform us that there was a five dollar charge. We realize it is customary and we don’t have an issue with it but they charged our guest when they arrived. We would have paid for our guest when we checked in if we would have been aware of the charge.

Because of the fire ring ash covering the campsite I have to give a bad rating. No hot water in the showers at the front of the park. Place has tremendous potential but needs lots of TLC!!

We have stayed at this KOA quite a few times in the last few years and so have our kids and grandkids.....All KOA staff/employees are very nice and always helpful. We feel like we're family when we are there and can relax and enjoy our stay. Stephen Mathias is a GEM :) The campground is very kid friendly and clean, activities for the grandkids is awesome and they thoroughly enjoy them !

Young staff were more interestedin chatting with one another than even acknowledging my arrival. When I called was told they were close to I-75 - NO they are some 15 miles from I-75!! Had to ask the escort for the WiFi passcode - never even mentioned to me at the office. He had to ride back to the office and get it since he didn't know what it was - AND HE WORKS THERE. WORST KOA EVER BOOKED!!

The entire staff made us feel welcome and went way out of their way to make our stay exceptional. I’ve never met a more helpful, friendly and sincerely wonderful group of employees. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!

Thank you koa. Our family has had a great summer thanks to your staff. Special thanks to Chris Laura stephan and Bob. I have never been somewhere with such an amazing group of people looking to only make sure my family has all the opportunities to be happy and have a great time. You guys are the reason I will continue to come back and choose to spend my time and hard earned money which every time I do is worth it! Thank u see u next year
