Very rude campers and loud not a great place to take the kids putt course needs to be cleaned sites are very small the pond was not clean

We always have a great time at KOA, we were sad that the slide and food truck were closed. We made the best of it anyways

My wife, kids and I love KOA campgrounds, but this one especially. It is a large well organized grounds with a friendly staff. The man-made lake is the main attraction for us when you want to hit the beach during your camping trip. Always a great time!

Good, disappointed in the fact store closed to purchase firewood on Saturday. Announcement should be made letting campers know. Also when making announcements repeat it twice.

we love the Monroe KOA!! we come every year at least once. We stayed at site 84 and loved how spacious and shaded it was. My only complaint from this recent stay was the swimming lake had A LOT of seaweed and leaves (like everywhere you stepped you did not feel sand) Normally it's very clean, sandy, and blue. Hoping it's just because we stayed early in the season :)

I have been coming here for over 30 yrs. now I’m bringing my grandkids. I loved this place, however this year I have some complaints after just 1 weekend. Your pond is not only disgusting and unsanitary but down right hazardous due to abundance of thick green hairlike algae, employees agreed it was gross. Gross unkept beach, no security, many more complaints. DISAPPOINTED. Hope u get it togethe

They went out of their way to help me when I got there and was always very helpful anytime my family needed something even after hours after the store closed which I would recommend the store stay open a little later then 5 or 7 .

Great place for families with kids. We requested a full hookup site and after I got setup, I found out we didn't have sewer on the site.

Being new to camping I was extremely disappointed in our stay at this KOA. The location was extremely dirty. Particularly the child playground area. The equipment was covered in sand/dirt and in poor condition. The rental equipment (large bikes) were in pretty bad shape. Our campsite was extremely uneven to the point the picnic table was unable to sit flat.

Kids and us parents had an amazing time.. Renting boats. Fishing, Swimming, and youngest made some good friends at the playground.

The campground is nice. Our pull through site was very narrow but long. Staff was very friendly. There were a lot of events planned for the campground but we didn’t participate in any. It is very close to Toledo and Cabellas in Dundee which is convenient. The dog area is great to let dogs run around. Overall, it was a great place for a weekend getaway close to home.

The staff, activities and cleanliness of the park were great. My only complaint is the site we were given was very narrow. I gave the correct length of my unit and noted we had slide outs. We couldn’t completely set up everything because there was not enough room. We had a corner pull through site that was right by the entrance and the dumpster.

Very clean, quiet, and very well-managed campground! All KOA staff are extremely courteous and accommodating! Lots of activities available for kids with beautiful grounds to take in and relax as well. One of our favorite local weekend getaways!

It was mostly good. There were several things I noticed that could of been better with covid protocols. One thing is you could tell that the golf clubs for mini golf we’re never cleaned. They also don’t enforce the no smoking marijuana policy as our campsite “neighbors” were constantly doing it. Also they were playing loud vulgar rap. Other than that we had a good time.

The overall camping experience was good. The kids had fun and the announcements over the loudspeaker helped us make sure we didn't miss activities. The firewood could be bigger and the amenities could use some updates-maybe an outdoor shower/foot rinse for all of the sand. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the map/layout was easy to navigate.

Swimming pond was very nice and clean. Small playground could use some updates but my 1 and 2 year old loved it. Just a little concerned about how safe it was considering how old it looked and would’ve been nice if it was also sand like the other one considering most kids didn’t have shoes on. Was also impressed with how quiet it was at night time. Thanks

Nice campground but you can’t listen to music and sit by the fire without them saying turn it down. Now it is not up we listen to old country and we’re not young kids with it cranked up.

The roads throughout the campground are full of ruts and holes. Immediately upon pulling in there are huge holes that serve as very effective speed bumps. Directly across from us was an old junky trailer with a "Beware of Dog" sign in the front window. The guy had a bigger, black dog. Don't know if it was aggressive or not but just having the sign clearly is inappropriate. Won't go back.

Loved my time here, we ended up added another day! The internet is amazing the sites are nice and the staff was very accommodating. Loved my time here, can't wait to return!

Second time here and it’s the most interactive kid friendly campground we’ve been to. This past weekends visit was the same in that aspect but the campground is a little run down. This was our first trip here as rv owners and the sites are small our neighbors were sitting at their fire about 10ft from our fire. Hands down the best staff though. As with any KOA it’s expensive!

First time camping in over 30 years. KOA had everything that I would need. The staff was wonderful and friendly. I will visit more KOA's in the future.

Sites are very small and unlevel. Had to use wood so I didn't sink into the mud on the site. Asked for size of wood bundles so I knew how many to order and she said "well they're cheap so they're small". Come to find out that I paid $6/bundle and the bundles are 3-4 small splits and the bundles are a quarter of the size of the ones at any gas station. Playground and fishing pond were very nice

Grounds were nice and all staff very friendly. Only concern was bathrooms. Several soap dispensers were empty and no toilet paper in 2 stalls. Maybe needs checked twice a day or at least before end of duty by staff ?

Very nice campground. Staff was wonderful. Only issue we had were people around us smoking marijuana after staff quit driving around checking on campers. It says on check in sheet it is not allowed. Still happened.

I have never been somewhere with such an amazing group of people looking to only make sure my family has all the opportunities to be happy and have a great time. You guys are the reason I will continue to come back and choose to spend my time and hard earned money which every time I do is worth it! Thank u see u next year
