Not what I expected from a KOA Holiday. Very dirty and the premium sites are dirty / grass.

Made reservations earlier in the spring and had lot 56. Called the next day and verified site 56. Showed up on 7/2 and was told we were on site 92. Was told I was never issued site 56. Was eventually given site 56, but it was a rotten way to start the weekend. Don't think we would have even fit on 92.

I Love the people that run this KOA. The fireworks are great, and I am always impressed with how Bud puts them all together for a great show. I was worried he was not going to do them this year because they moved his spot in the park. But thank God he was still there. Our first year there we were next to him and he was one of the reasons we come back every year.

Kids loved the activities, water slide and swimming pond. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. However, the campsites are very small and we’re mostly dirt. Fortunately it didn’t rain or we would be in a giant mud puddle. We will most likely be back maybe once per year over a holiday weekend.

Was quiet, a friendly staff as always, fireworks were phenomenal. Best I’ve seen in many years. Weather was perfect and we will be back in a couple weeks! Thank you!

Our stay was very pleasant. We stayed 6 nights over 4th of July week/weekend. We have been coming since I was a little kid, the only thing that wasn’t very pleasant was the smell of the water. The toilets the showers and hand washing sinks water smelt so bad of sewer smell. Also the showers were backing up with water. The water def left us smelling worse then the lake. Will return for tradition

We stayed overnight in one of the 2 premium pull through sites, and was disappointed that the burners on the gas grill they have were was totally rusted, rendering the grill useless. Most of the sites are on grass and there were havy rains which led to many puddles and I am sure soggy sites. Overall its ok, nothing horrible but nothing great, although lots of kids having fum with the lake and org

We enjoyed our camping at the Monroe KOA. Helpful staff, clean facilities, and nice campsites. 2 feedback items: We had a premium pull thru site, with propane grill, fire pit, etc. The grill was rusted out and would not work. We borrowed the grill from the adjacent campsite. The fire pit is dug too deep below ground to be of use. Will not be reserving these premium sites again.

monroe county KOA should find a new wood supplier, the wood was smokey and never burned very well. The fire pit at our site was deep and did not have air flow to the flame. The camp pump went out early in the morning but was fixed quickly.

The campground is clean and very well kept. The playground, pool/pond and waterslide are awesome and our daughter played on it all day. The staff ave very helpful and Stephen, a manager, personally took care of a issue we had, showing that this campground has a great staff. If we are ever camping in Michigan again we will be spending a night here again for sure.

Camp sites are extremely tight. Staff has no clue about reserving sites of proper size for big campers. We were expected to get a 35 foot camper on a site with a huge tree in the middle of the site. The campers needed water and electric and the hook ups were on the wrong side of the trailer. We had an extension cord attached to our camper cord and it was in the middle of a water puddle

Loved how the swimming pond has a clean beach that wraps all the way around. Great place for kids.

Friendly staff. If you ask for help they will help. The bathrooms were cleaned frequently.

Just a quick overnight stay, but as seasoned campers (average over 100 nights/year for over 20 years) I can say the Monroe County/Toledo North KOA is one of the best we've stayed at.

This was our first ever stay at a KOA. We are RV newbies. Had a wonderful time! So much to do and see! We have another stay planned in July and are so looking forward. Campground was clean and staff was very nice and helpful.

Needed help to get propane tanks to the refill tank. Went to the office three times requesting someone to help me get propane but it never happened. The entrance had big potholes giving a bad first impression of the campground. The water was smelly..

Was about 3’ away from people on other sides awning. Would stay there again for a overnight stop but no longer then overnight. Campground really needs a facelift.

We love the Monroe County/Toledo North KOA. I grew up going there as a kid and we plan to do the same for our kids!

Great place for kids but campsites are completely over crowded and close together. No personal space at all! Didn't enjoy eating outside and smelling the person next to me sewer.

Very dusty/ dirty, lots of marijuana smell, police showed up and had to escort a camper out of the park.

I had a couple of items stolen whole I was there this weekend, the sewer hose for my camper, and the outside vent cover for the hood range fan :( the campsites here are SO on top of each other that I think it made stealing my things easy. Kids had a great time though lots of activities and amenities. Store had decent prices.

The people next to us were extremely loud and nothing was done, the campsites are small even for a pull through site, the water stopped working in the middle of the night we will never come back. There were people smoking weed too which is prohibited in the park

Great staff and amenities but they pack you in VERY tight. My awning would barely open without hitting the camper on the sit next to mine. Additionally, the folks on the campsite next to us we were literally sitting back to back to them at the firepit. They spilled over into my site. There was no room or concept of personal space. We were all stacked on top of each other. Won't be returning.

this was our 1st time there camping with your 2 kids. We had a blast. we loved everything the fishing, activities, swimming, and the gift shop. The staff was really friendly. we will definitely be back!!!

When we arrived we were greeted. Then check in process was smooth. When we go to our campsite i noticed one of our site had a lot of water on it due to the rain in the morning. I saw a worker there named Shawn and asked if he knew of a way to get rid of the water. He worked his butt off to get 90 percent of the water out and put hay and more dirt to cover up the muddy spot. They have a great crew

Our family enjoyed our stay and most likely will be back! The only downside is that it gets really loud at night and the quiet hours are not enforced!

Thank you koa. Our family has had a great summer thanks to your staff. Special thanks to Chris Laura stephan and Bob. I have never been somewhere with such an amazing group of people looking to only make sure my family has all the opportunities to be happy and have a great time. You guys are the reason I will continue to come back and choose to spend my time and hard earned money which every time I do is worth it! Thank u see u next year
