The campground is new, so it's still a work in process. The sites need a little more TLC, especially in leveling. Over all it will be a very nice campground once completed. I was a little disappointed when they banned all visitors, so I had to pay $20 per day for the grandkids to visit. That said, they did go out of their way to accommodate us for last minute reservations.

It has all the bells and whistles including site food delivery, but the ultra long sites while level side to side are sloped significantly front to back. I moved my 30ft class A as far as I could back in the site to be able to connect to water and power with an added hose and 2" blocks under levelers in back. Still dramatically sloped. Looked like everyone was jacked way up in back.

Arrived after sunset, left in morning. Reservation Information easy to find at office. Hookups easy. The campground is under some construction and looks like it will have beautiful buildings and access to ponds. Nice Swimming pool and playground. Even a grill for ordering food at certain hours! However, we were truly hoping to use showers, but Bathhouses closed! No way to call or email Managers.

Someone did a great job laying out your camp. Most KOA's have sites that are so close to each other that slides nearly touch. I hope that you will consider screw on waste hook ups. I'm surprised that you haven't had some spills.. We will be back again in the warmer season. Let your guests know about the "bent and dent" stores operated by the Amish community. Ohio locals likely know.

Very disappointed in our stay this time. Only 1 bathroom available at office. Bathhouses closed in the campground. We should have been told this when we made our reservation. I realize this is a new campground and has many growing pains. Lack of communication is going to hurt return campers. We stayed earlier in the year and no bathhouse problem. Your website needs updated too.

Beautiful fall camping. Have watched Shelby grow more beautiful over the years and look forward to watching Mt Gilead do so too. Thank you for providing Covid safety.

Good location, full service layout but pretty featureless landscape with no trees or shade.

We enjoyed our stay. The park is very scenic and the size of the lots are nice. Due to erosion there were several areas where the ground has washed out and created ruts. I stepped in one and twisted my ankle and knee then I was in pain all weekend. The onsite water pressure was excellent. Please trim the tree at the end of the G row it hits the campers.

My wife and I were a little surprised when we were charged a fee for early check in when we were an hour early to a half full campground also the site we booked was not the site we were placed. Hopefully it is growing pains for a new KOA good luck in the future we will try it again next year.

Angel checked in myself and my friend when we arrived. She was very pleasant, accommodating, and helped us save money by telling us about KOA Rewards. The campground itself is pretty nice for a brand new campground. I hope the "grassy" areas on the sites are leveled out better and have more actual grass instead of dirt, weeds, rocks, etc. Overall it's a nice facility and we'll definitely be back

This is a new KOA and they definitely incorporated lessons and experience into the design of this campground. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. The facilities were great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our spot was right at the front, and even though route 95 is right there we never noticed any significant traffic noise. This is definitely a place we will return with our children.

Great Staff , very friendly & helpful . Angel went above & beyond during our stay. Love going to Sunbury, it is our favorite,Chip & Bambi are awesome hosts . When we heard they were co-owners we just had to check it out. Although it just opened it was really nice with great amenities. This place will be one of the best around for sure when all phases of construction are completed- we will be back

The campground had a great area to walk dogs. The sites were level and spacious. The camp store was very nice and had quite a few items. Loved the ice cream. They are continuing to complete renovations and I can tell that they are going to be great! We will be back.

The staff was phenomenal... went out of their way to make us feel welcome! We are “ newbies“ to the camping world and everyone was very helpful getting us settled in!! We will be back again!

Nice new campground. Only negative was I reserved the “putting green” site (most expensive). When we arrived I was told we had a regular pull-thru site. I said that we had reserved the PG site. I was told that site was closed. I just think it would have been good to know that ahead of time. I feel it is just good business to notify people in case they want to cancel.,

Had 3 sites as my nephews and their families were there too. Very well set up for being a new KOA, Sites we were in were huge with plenty of room. Very easy to make buddy sites. Can't wait to book next year as we will be back. Congrats to the new owners !!!

We had a wonderful time at the KOA. My husband liked the fishing pond. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay! Sites were clean and big. Staff was great. Campground is new and still needs some work but not bad for only being opened a few months. They did not have shower facilities available. We have a pop up and fortunately we were with friends that had a shower. Had we been by ourselves that would have been an issue. Should have noted that somewhere on their website and the app.

This is going to be a great KOA once everything is complete. The only restrooms that were available were the ones in the main building. The other restrooms and shower houses were not complete and/or had not been checked by the county yet. There were no shower facilities available and out camp site was a bit of a walk from the main building with the restrooms. We will try again in a year or so.

When someone makes a reservation, KOA Mt. Gilead/Mid-Ohio should make it clear that the campground is not complete. Biggest issue was lack of bathrooms and showers. This KOA will be wonderful when it's finished - not so much right now. I will return in a year or two.

We had a great weekend camping with our Grandgirls! All of the staff were very nice and helpful! The sites are awesome! Definitely we will return!
