Really quiet, of course it was the first week in Oct. All your employees were very friendly and helpful. Especially Joe. We are an older couple but it looks like you could do with more stuff for teenagers. Your play area is really nice for the younger one's. Love the large pull thru's.

Get rid of the geese. You want people to pick up after their dogs, but don’t care that there is goose poop EVERYwhere! Get an engineer in there to level out the sites. They are so unlevel and most are going uphill. We saw a lot of boards underneath tires or tires off the ground. The yards are very rough and muddy. On the plus side, sites are long and good space between sites. Good luck!

This is a wonderful park with better than average size sites. As a new park there are things to take care of like sites that are level and more sufficient gravel on roads and sites. It has made a great start and offers lots of options with the patio sites including nicer tables and chairs along with a grill. I look forward to seeing the development of this park in the future.

We have been to some beautiful KOA’s, but this was awesome. We loved our huge yard and so much field to walk the dog. Nice having a state park across the road and close to town. Everything was so new and perfect. Can’t wait to return!!!!

We absolutely loved our site and think we had the best one there! Very spacious campground and quiet. Wish there would have been more things for kids to do, but I understand it's newer and maybe in the upcoming years there will be more. Overall a wonderful stay and will return.

We love the atmosphere at this campground.The staff is all friendly and helpful.Love the little restaurant also.Wish they would have more patio sites.

Not really any other choices in the area. My latest complaint with them is the have a rule that you can't use earned points for one night. I do that all the time at other KOA's. Also the chare for everything. Last summer I had to pay $80 so the grandkids could come for dinner. Kount On Addons

Not impressed. Stayed because of the rating but was very disappointed! The road in was in horrible condition.. Did not like that the bathhouses were portable buildings. A wine tasting and cable tv were advertised but neither were offered (1 of the reasons we chose to stay there!) Pool area was messyThe campground was open but looked and felt neglected. No veteran discount.

Because of traffic conditions we arrived at the KOA at Mt Gilead after sunset. The directions to our campsite were readily available and we were soon setup. The campground is located a sufficiently distance from major highways and we had a peaceful stay.

Everything was fine. Just a quick weekend getaway! Nice store/cafe building. Clean & quiet facility. We caught some catfish & bluegill in the stocked pond & a couple catfish in one of the non-stocked going toward the back of the property. Wish 4-wheelers were allowed & some trails made through the large piece of property that's otherwise unused.

Enjoyed our stay very much. A bit shocked that for such a big campground, out of 3 bathroom/shower buildings, only one of them was open. That was very disappointing.

No breakfast or anyone cooking like told. My sheets were still wet in the bag and the lack of employees that were there to assist me or my family were no where to be found and the shower curtain had mold half way up it while u could clearly see they allowed animals bc there were fleas biting my son..

THE CAMPGROUND ONE OF THE BEST ONES WE HAVE STAYED AT THE SITES WERE NICE AND BIG YOU WERE NOT ON TOP OF SOMEONE THE CAMPGROUND WAS NICE AND CLEAN THE HOST WERE VERY FRIENDLY WE WOULD DIFFERENTLY STAY THERE AGAIN .

Nice open area. The sewer hook ups required long hoses to get connected. Pool was closed to early. 95 degrees is expected in September. Should be open till oct1.

Interesting seeing a golf course turned into a camp ground. Hoping in the future you can add more shade trees! Everything appeared clean and maintained. Sites were prepped for our arrival, fire ring was void of garbage and left over coals, a very nice touch!!! Enjoyed the patio and furniture at our site. That minimized the deployment of our accessories and streamlined our set up/pack up.

Please repair/replace the driveway! Otherwise it's a great campground to stay at. The facilities are nice and the staff is very friendly!

New restrooms and showers, clean and roomy. Nice level spot and the wi-fi is very good. Clean and friendly place, beautiful setting.

We had our two young grandsons (2yr olds) not much for them to do and while we was in the cafe another camper sounded like he had had a few made it unbearable to stay in there.

Thank you for leaving the pool open for KOA appreciation weekend. Loved seeing all the American Flags flying on campers over the weekend.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The deluxe cabin was clean, comfortable and a great alternative to an overpriced hotel room. I will definitely look into this location to stay again when I’m in the area.

Nice spots. Gravel. Big park. Nice pool & play area. Nice store with cafe restaurant. Only problem is electric pedestal showed L1 open on my circuit analyzer. Just means not getting true 50 amp service. 2 sites we tested were the same electrical issue

We loved our stay! The campground was very clean. Our site was spacious and perfect for our 4 year grandson to ride his scooter on the patio. The playground and jump pillow were a hit as well! The staff was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!

It’s ok. Nothing special. Was hoping for a big difference from last year to this year, but it wasn’t there. The driveway pulling in rough and needs repair. Staff are nice and helpful. Trees need to be planted.

Nice campground. Will be back next year for sure. Looks like they are constantly improving the grounds and hopefully using the existing golf course grounds to their advantage. Can't wait to see the changes next year.

It was a clean campground. Pool area is nice. Kids loved the playground. Still lacking a few more activities since it is a newer campground. I hope that they will add a basketball court and horseshoes. Friendly staff.
