We were very impressed with this new KOA. Staff was friendly and helpful. All sites are large with plenty of room all around. Grounds are laid out really nice and nice camp store. Shade was a little and far between, but the Campground is new. The area is fantastic as well. When they get this campground they'll have a gem for sure. We'll be back. - S & S RV Adventures

It's a new park still being built out. But the sites are wide, level and all the hook ups work perfectly! They accomodated us when we had some urgent issues to attend to and we didn't know exactly how long we were going to need to stay. The flexiblity was a relief!

This was a great campground with plenty of space between sites. This is only second year campground has been open (formerly golf course). Everything was new, staff was awesome! Only complaint I would have is site was very unlevel. So much that my auto levelers wouldn't work. Had to level manually. I would recommend this campground.

It’s a nice place .. clean .. missing some of the activities extras for kids!! Staff is very friendly & conscientious to your need ..ie… holes in gravel .. lack of gravel.. took care of it right away!! Pool is an asset& we took advantage of it!!

we LOVED the size of the camp sites, seems like a slower paced quiet area to camp. Only 2 disappointments, one to cancel golf cart you have to give 24 hours notice. we were not told this when we cancelled or we would have kept the cart for the day. Second it seemed restrooms were only cleaned once per day, multiple times per day is needed. Other than that it was a great stay!

Campground was clean and staff was pleasant. Good on/off us71. We were charged extra for our towed car. Huge cement patio, not many trees, gravel pads not super level, neighbors partying and singing karaoke after midnight on a Saturday night. We stayed at a premium site.

Very nice and clean, patio sites and pool area are awesome. One suggestion, is to have trash receptacle or dog poo trash bin throughout the park. I know the was a dog run, however my husky likes to walk the park with us. Other than that can’t wait for our next stay. Thanks for a good weekend.

They charged us for additional people in a cabin that sleeps 8; this should be included in the price of a cabin! They also charged us for the initial 2 adults/2 children that are included in the price that it says on the website. So we ended up paying a much higher price than what is advertised for the cost of a cabin. The grounds are decent; they are new so still updating/adding amenities.

It’s always a great day at this Koa. Big spacious spots, everyone has been friendly. Only suggestion is more level spots. Otherwise perfect place!

The campground is great. The staff us wonderful. HOWEVER we would not have made a reservation had we known there was only one bathroom/shower house open. For such a big campground, this is ridiculous.

We stopped for 1 night on the road. Reservation was easy. Check in was smooth and welcoming. We were glad to find ICE CREAM for sale in the store! Campground was tidy. Restrooms were new and clean. There was water on the bathroom floor from the shower. Suggestion: Install a floor drain, and provide a long squeegee. This was done well at another campground. Slippery floor can be unsafe.

Campground looked and felt brand new. Staff was the friendliest and even the food at the Cafe was good! I know I will make an effort to come back again.

We really liked the campground and I know it's a rule to have your dogs tied up but we had a girl that kept going past out lots to make sure they were tied and even stop to basically tell us our dogs were seen running around they never left our lot without supervision so that was annoying

The owners and staff were very friendly, would definitely stay here again. Pristine campground bathrooms and pool area. Can't wait to see what the finished grounds look like, and hope to see some events in the future!

Newer campground. Staff was pretty nice, our spot was big but did require us to use a lot of leveling extras. No shade at all, which caused the AC to run non stop. The pool was nice, but the chlorine was strong. Playground & jump pad was great for the kids. Would be great to have additional kids activities or more level drives for younger kids to ride bikes. We enjoyed our time, and will return.

Friendly staff, nice site selections, pool was nice and clean, playground equipment was well maintained for the kids. No rowdy crowds were there when we were so you had no disturbances when you were trying to sleep

We have stayed at the Mt Gilead KOA quite a few times now. We were one of the lucky few that got to try out the new pool when it opened Memorial Day weekend! This is a new KOA campground and they are already making great strides to become a great place for many years to come. Can't wait to see the next expansion.

You have a beautiful park. The facilities are excellent. However, having camped for over 50 years and only charged extra for an early arrival once or twice in that time (Never in a KOA); I was appalled by your inflexibility in being charged extra. There is no statement in your registration format for such a charge;and there is no notification in the new 2021 KOA catalog regarding this decision.

I really enjoyed staying at your KOA but there was a lot of dirt at the camp site and not much grass nor trees.
