The people there were so helpful to us. We had blown a tire on our camper and their handyman Joe went way out of his way to help us! Great people and loved that little town!

The pool is by far the nicest design especially for kids. It seems there should be bathrooms near the pool though. The ones that are not complete are too far away to let young kids go alone. We might go back when everything is open and all the grass fills in. Wristbands for the pool are basically one time use and frankly a pain in the rear.

Nice place. clean restrooms and showers. Pleasant employees. Sites could use a bit of leveling and the entrance asphalt needs to be replaced or removed.

Enjoyed the pool. We liked the grill/fire ring. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed last year when it first opened. I had greater expectations for the second year. I felt the grounds need better care grass mowed, etc. ). Expected more activities like at Shelby KOA. Would like to have had cafe fully operational, especially for breakfast on weekends. Store hours until 9:00 pm.

Nice newer campground. The staff were so friendly snd made us feel welcome. Sites needed mowed when we were there. Only one restroom/shower building was open. Wish the onsite food had more on the menu. What was on the website was not what they had available. We will be back as we can tell there is a lot of potential for an excellent campground.

There was a mix up with the sites for my group. However, Stephanie did her very best to put us together. Overall the stay was good we enjoyed ourselves. The reservation process needs to be better.

Nice clean place but not a lot going on there like other koa’s. We actually left a day earlier than our reservation because of that. You can tell it’s a work in progress and the owners are obviously trying to get some income to continue to improve. Another thing that bothered me was the lodge/pub hours are until 9 which is early for a weekend but they actually close at 8 so they can be gone by

Just a spur of the moment nearby get away. Very nice clean park. Beautiful pool. Just a little too quiet though for my husband & me & not much to do in the area. But I would recommend it to campers who prefer these things. Beautiful property but some trees in the campground for shade would also be nice.

Overall stay was pleasant. Our site was muddy due to recent rain and some leveling of site and additional gravel would be helpful for future guests. We were unable to arrange to have our friends nearby which was unfortunate as most KOAs are able to do this. Extended pool hours would be nice in the summertime. Golf cart rentals would be a nice addition to your KOA. Add fish to the pond!

Good potential. We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a nice location with nice amenities. Please pave the roads as that is a deterrent to my stay. Dust is an issue.Need hooks for clothes in shower-shelves might seem nice but are difficult to use. It gets very steamy in shower so you need vents/fans in the shower baths. Vacancy signs on the shower/bath door would help for privacy accidents. Thanks

All employees we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. Large sites. Especially like the onsite restaurant and the availability of adult beverages. This is a new campground and had just a bit more grass-less areas that some people may not like but grass is growing. Well laid out and wow what a pool!! Easy to get to of of the interstate.

Great check in - Pool and playground very nice - abundance of pull through sites is nice. Only one working shower house was acceptable, but not ideal, I recognize they are coming. Door on the handicap accessible bathroom/shower wouldn't lock. no shower curtain.

Our site would have been great if we had been camping with our neighbors. Very close and only had enough space for a picnic table and our fire ring was on their site. Will not be back.

Stayed for an impromptu weekend; the wide-open spaces and pull-through sites make for an easy weekend of camping and the pool, playground, and jump pad keep the kids active and entertained.

One of the best KOA's I have stayed at. Very friendly and courteous staff. Very large sites which are big rig friendly.

What a beautiful place. Clean, open spaces with a nice office/store and pool. The staff were friendly and curteous and actually answered the phone every time we called. We are going back there again to stay.

It was very nice and very clean. Only disappointment we had was the lack of the use of the bathhouse. This KOA was in our 2020 book so we couldn't understand why they wouldn't have been available in 2021.

Easily accessible from highway. Long, level pull-thru sites. Clean & well-manicured surroundings. Pleasant staff. Lovely little state park nearby. Front entry road has multiple pot holes in need of attention & closed shower rooms would pose inconvenience for some campers. No cable. $$$ Good stopover for cross country travel.

It was very nice, peaceful and relaxing. Definitely nice to get away from the hectic city life of Columbus!!! Being so new, we can't wait to see what is added in the future!!!

I have always enjoyed staying at KOAs in my travels the past 3 years. Staying at a KOA you know what to expect; however, this KOA (Mt. Gilead) had no shower/bath facilities available and when asked about this I was met with a non-friendly response. In addition, the hook-up to the sewer was on an uphill climb as well as the back-in site had water, sewer and electric on the opposite side.

Great stay! I broke my foot prior to coming and was in a cast. I liked that they have a handicap accessible pool and bathrooms. Thank you for that! Definitely made my stay more enjoyable as I was able to enjoy the pool with my kids still.

Had a great Father's Day weekend stay with my daughter and wife. The sites are amazingly large and we are super excited to see the next phase at your facility. We booked another trip and added my brother's family before we even left this weekend. And not to forget, your staff was absolutely amazing and that alone is worth it's weight in gold, don't forget that.

Everybody was so helpful so kind even brought gravel and put down in a muddy area of the driveway. Definitely enjoyed it and we will be back.

Nice new campground. Not much shade but great breezes. The pool was wonderful! The bathhouses were closed but we knew that from the website so we had full hookups. Easy to find.

We stayed one night. Very nice place. Clean. Don’t know if we would stay more than one or 2 nights. Would definitely recommend this campground for an overnight stop

Grass needed mowed badly. Needed help in kitchen. Food was good. Only open for 1 year lot to do. But getting there. Gary & Vickie doing a great job. Our group will definitely come back
