It’s a new campground, so the campsites are pretty nice and spacious. However, the pool wasn’t open despite it being sunny & nearly 90 degrees all weekend. Plus all the bathrooms and bath houses were also closed. No activities were going on. It was pretty boring overall. With the owners having 2 other very successful properties, we were expecting much more. Disappointed.

The campground was still new when we went. There is a lot of potential for growth. The restrooms/shower houses were not open yet. I would suggest a basketball court.

Always enjoy staying there but not happy with the check-In time. I feel it’s too late. By the time we setup most of Friday is over and we are paying for two days. Most of the campgrounds you can check-In at 1:00.

The campground itself was very nice, well kept and had friendly staff, however there was very little to do and explore around the premises. I understand that it is new and hope that as they grow they will add more activities and amenities. It has the potential to be a fun place.

We had a good stay. Love the patio sites. I paid cash when we got there snd never got a receipt. Thought I’d get it when we left after10:00am but not open. Asked for an email receipt. Nothing.

Great check-in experience including an escort to our site which was twice the size of normal sites. This campgrounds is fairly new. The shower houses are almost finished and the grass will continue to grow in. Looking forward to using the brand new pool at our next stay. Would like to see a better security system at the front gate entrance.

When the campground is completed I think it will be very nice. When we stayed bathrooms and showers were not open, there was an issue with the water so it was turned off for a few hours. I did not have a VIP site but noticed it was also gravel site with the exception of the picnic table area. When I stay and pay vip rates I look for cement or asphalt pad for me rig. Staff was very friendly

Excited to see what this new KOA can create. Great spaces, dog park was nice and spacious (could use some shade inside the park). Nice bathrooms. Pool looks like will be nice. Excited to see some grass growing was quite bare in spots. Also a few more patios would be nice. Will be back for sure

Extra long pull thru sites with plenty of room. Friendly staff at check in. Staff in cafe friendly as well. Pizza was delicious! Easy access off freeway.

Unfortunately, the restrooms/bath houses were still closed and there were no activities for the kids. What if someone were to come in a popup with no bathroom? There was no mention of them being closed when booking the stay.

It was our first time at Mt. Gilead KOA and it was an awesome camping weekend. Everyone there was so nice and did a great job at check in. Thumbs up to all the workers there. Can't wait to come back again and camp when the pool is open.

The staff was very friendly but still learning. We were not told about an $8 golf cart fee prior to staying nor is it on the website. There doesn't seem to be as much to do at this KOA but the playground, jump pad, and dog park were nice. The pool looks like it will be nice. Our Site C01 water and electric is at the front of the site requiring extension cord. The drive entering is rough.

Unbelievable request for payment to arrive early left a bitter taste in our mouths. Good staff, poor owner customer relations practice.

Very long sites but minimal trees due to being a prior golf course so will be hot in summer. Premium pads are worth the upgrade but are close to highway and can hear traffic at night. The ‘back 40’ or golf course area is peaceful and pretty but not developed yet. This KOA is brand new so will be excited to what they add. Store had a great wine selection. Staff were friendly. With this being a new campground, so far the amenities are top notch. The new sites in back need more leveling (gravel) and on an online map of the property we saw 2 putting greens but did not find them. My boys would love if they did keep a couple putting greens from the old course as they are a bit old for the jumping pillow. We will return in the future, they are off to a great start

Though we were only here for one night our stay was amazing! Spacious camp sites friendly staff and beautiful scenery. New to camping and having someone at the front to guide us to our site removed that particular stress! Thanks for a wonderful night.

This is going to be a fantastic campground when it is finished. We missed having showers but the bathrooms were super nice, the playground and bounce pad were a delight, and the owners couldn't have been more welcoming. The Kamp Store had delicious ice cream, too. Great hiking trails nearby and convenient shopping in Mt. Gilead.

was charged 10.00 for early check which is fine but after i got onto site waited 45 minutes to get the water turned on at site which i did myself after waiting 45 minutes when the guy pulled up for water i was informed that the site did not have 50 amp service available feel at minimum should have received my early check in fee in a refund

Brand new campsites emerging and a lot of improvement going on. This will soon be a great place to stay. The sites themselves are spacious and there are plenty of amenities. We stayed in late April and I’m sure in warmer weather the stay would be even better. A great place to look forward to in the near future.

We loved the time we was there . We had a family emergency so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would like to of seeing as we were traveling back and forth to Wooster Ohio for my Mother's emergency surgery . The camp site was spacious and clean and the patio area was nice and tables were awesome .

This was our third time staying here. Beautiful spacious campsites. Clean environment with a very friendly staff. Will continue to visit here!!
