Great location. This is fairly new and they are building the facility up to what you would expect from a KOA. Very flat and open and clean. Didn’t give it 5 stars because the fire pit contained trash from previous occupants.

It will be beautiful once it’s finished. The property is gorgeous, rolling, lush and green. Great for walking your dog or kids. Beautiful pool, nice playground and new bath houses and deluxe cabins. Only complaint is the driveway in definitely needs attention, rough and holes, in need of fresh paving. Very scenic area not far from interstate.

I think maybe you forgot to clean up the sites and fire pits. Lots of trash on the ground.

This is a wonderful park. The spaces are wide and long enough for all types of rigs. It was peaceful and the grounds were wonderful for a new park.

Only one thing needs attention before camping season really gets underway - the fire ring on B03 is a bit too low-lying. The rain stopped but it was a mud puddle around the ring, so we skipped the campfire. If the ring were moved, the site would be perfect!

It is hard to rate my first stay here in mid-April. It is a very new campground and the potential is there to be a great KOA. Customer service was great but hours were limited due to season. The front entrance could be resurfaced. I will look forward to stay here during peak season.

Staff friendly, knowledgeable and available, as they always are here. They had a map marked with my site location ready when I arrived, and checked that I had all needed supplies. They updated me of facilities availability and updated me that their phone number is monitored 24/7 in case I need anything.

Very pleasant atmosphere and people. The sights are very spacious which is a huge plus for larger campers. Absolutely will be back several times.

Stayed 3 nights. Rained each evening, Water drained away nicely. Excellent WiFi, All sites were pull through with 50 amp service, water and 2 sewer drops. Will return in warmer weather when everything is open.

As most of the amenities are closed I cannot recommend this park. Our stay was just a basic overnight but would’ve been a bummer for a day or two trip.

While this was just a stop over for our trip. It would have been nice to be told in advance that none of the bathrooms were going to be open for the season yet. We didn’t arrive until 10:30 pm in below freezing temperatures and no bathrooms on property were available. Communication is very important with matters such as this.

It is a lovely campground. The dog park is exceptional. However, we were put on a site where the water wasn’t working B3.. The gentlemen next to us had the same issue. We drove around until we found a site where the water worked. Unfortunately there was no concrete patio we paid for. The hours we were given for the office were 4 to 7, but at 6 the person left. These issues can be worked out.

I hada great stay. Campground was quiet and verything was very clean and orderly. Customer service was excellent. Melissa was very welcoming and helpful both when I called and when I arrived. She above and beyond my expectations in helping get the water at my site turned on.

Our stay wasn’t bad. Campground is in transition to a KOA. We had a great huge site which we really liked but given it was winter and most amenities were closed (pool, store had very limited hours, bar restaurant etc) feel like prices should not be full summer prices. Location is great w state park right across the street.

This is my home away from home. Our water wasn’t turned on and the nice young lady said... I’m not gonna leave until I get it going. She called for help, and he arrived very soon after, and we had running water.

Great place to stay. The park is very clean. We didn't have any issues with the water or electric, even though it's still in the winter season. We will be back in the summer!

we were not a wear that there were no amenities. The facilities were closed. We feel there should have been a discounted charge.

Very nice staff took great care of us. Sites were gravel and level, easy to get to back on road. We will definitely return.

This is a fairly new place. What they have done so far is really nice. I expect this RV campground to be very nice when it's completed. See you soon!!

We find ourselves staying here a lot because they’re open year round. We will return again soon. I do wish they had told us we wouldn’t have our propane tank, and furniture when we booked.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They are in first stages of development so some things were out of synch. With a year under their belts this will be a great KOA! Pub/restaurant on the property is a great selling point. Only issue was we signed up for a patio site that is supposed to have furniture & gas grill. Not even a picnic table was on site on arrival. State park is close! Will be back.

Just spent the one night here in late November. All sites are large pull thru's. Stayed during Covid so check in was simple and contactless. Looks like a nice swimming pool and they have a bar and cafe during the busy season. I'd say give this place a shot you would like it.

Newer KOA and they are still building out from being a golf course. The 2 spots I was in at 2 different dates varied from muddiness where grass should be to the gravel RV pad being off level side to side and front to back. I am use to KOAs being Level where I just stay hooked to the truck for 1 night. Hopefully as the continue developing, they will fix some of this and add trees for wind/shade.

Realy nice campground, all large pull through lots. No facilities open at time of our stay. Easy to get to just make sure you look for the KOA sign because navigation has you turn onto the road before the campground and its a tight turnaround, thank goodness its a street with a circle at the end of it.

Beautiful and quiet. Staff was excellent, even staying a little late to keep the store open for us as we arrived late.

We had a great time at the Mt Gilead KOA. This is kinda our little “get away from work” spot. We enjoy just being able to relax and rest. Due to our jobs, we must remain somewhat close at times and this place allows for that!

Very nice grounds. Thanks for having one bathroom open even though shower houses were closed. Looks like your pool will be nice. Our dog benefited from the dog park. Liked the spacing of the sites. Enjoyed our stay.

The facility is very clean and all the staff were very friendly. It’s nice that they are open year round. Had my 2 dogs with me and we spent a lot of time at the pond. I will definitely be coming back soon!
