Again I can’t wait to see this campground when it’s completed. I do wish you didnt here all the shooting . It’s really close to a shooting range or we’re close to a hunting area.

This is a nice campground. Perfect for an overnight stop and open year round. I must say it has spectacular WiFi service. The best of any campground we have stayed at.

The campground is new so not all things are worked out yet but we had a nice stay. Staff was nice and courteous. Grounds well kept. Retrieved garbage when they said they would. Great stay!

We absolutely love MT. Gilead KOA!!! The sites are so spacious and the kids love the jump pad!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming too!!

The campsites were very nice, but we were a little frustrated that was had to pay $20 extra to check in early when there were only about 5 other campers there. It was 30 degrees out and they were not busy at all! The woman at the front desk wasn’t friendly about it either

only stayed 1 nite but the campground is very spacious and decent sites for our big rig (44 ft 5th wheel) the staff we encountered were very pleasant.

Great Staff that leads you to your location. The lots are big and not to close to your neighbor. A great camp store with everything you need.

Once completed this will be a super nice campground with lots of outdoor activities nearby. The sites were well spaced & the staff was very friendly. Very nice store & pub! We look forward to checking it out again next season during the warmer months.

Good time as always just came home with to much candy, wish there were more kids to pass out candy too. My kids had a good time trick or treating

I would have given a much better rate, but their website states that the pool is not open and not complete. That didn't matter to us. It is October. What does matter is that not one shower was open. All of the bath houses were closed. There was no explanation, nor was there any mention of this on their website. When we tried to email the office, the email kept being returned as undeliverable.

Very nice, new campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the on-site restaurant! Was bummed showerhouses were closed, not sure if it was because they were new or just off season. Loved our deluxe site with concrete pad, grill and potted mums.

Great campground. Love the size of the camp sites. Convenient access to the state park. Wish we would have known the bathrooms were closed. Other than that good experience. Employees are friendly and very helpful.

Really friendly, efficient. Nice restaurant. Stocked pond - we caught crappie, bass and bluegills.

I love it here. The grounds are beautiful, the resident geese are awesome! Staff is super nice and accommodating. It's brand new and still have some facilities not open like laundry and restrooms but it is awesome!

We were there 3 weeks ago and enjoyed the new site. Been staying at Sunbury so we knew Chip would do a fantastic job on a new site. The staff were very friendly and fun. April and Jessi were lots of fun. Our grandkids loved the weekend with plenty to do. Loved the activities. My 3 year old grandson wanted to go swimming so bad so we will be back in the summer. We really enjoyed the events that were scheduled. The grounds were nice, it would be nicer if the roadways were paved but the gravel drives were well kept.. Having the clubhouse with its bar and grill was nice too.

Friendly staff. Sites had plenty of space. Also, loved the pub for a rainy night. Food was good and reasonably priced. Looking forward to what they do with the campground in the future!

It was a pleasant stay for us. Unfortunately 5 of the 6 days it rained during our visit. Being it was a new location there was an issue with mud. Thanks to to good WiFi service we had. The smart TVs were well used during the stay. Staff was more then friendly and helpful. It will be interesting to see how the camp grows over the next few years.

Very nice stay. My wife and I both grew up in Mt Gilead and were back to visit family. Strange to see the golf course gone but nice to see the KOA. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and answered any questions we had. I read complaints about lack of trees. It was a golf course and they are working on it. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Groundskeeper, Bob, was attentive and VERY helpful. He provided clues on fishing and stopped at our site when we hailed him for firewood. He made our stay wonderful. Looking forward to staying again next year.

I’d like to rate this higher but the customer service just wasn’t there. I understand policies and rules but I was a little dumbfounded when they told me they were charging me an extra $20 for early check in. I was there an hour and a half early and the place was wide open. They also wanted to charge me extra after I left for a vehicle that wasn’t even on site for a day. Grounds are great t

Each rv site is really good size . And the Wi-fi. Was very strong. Big grocery store nearby . Really good place to walk too,was an old golf course

The campground is new, so it's still a work in process. The sites need a little more TLC, especially in leveling. Over all it will be a very nice campground once completed. I was a little disappointed when they banned all visitors, so I had to pay $20 per day for the grandkids to visit. That said, they did go out of their way to accommodate us for last minute reservations.

It has all the bells and whistles including site food delivery, but the ultra long sites while level side to side are sloped significantly front to back. I moved my 30ft class A as far as I could back in the site to be able to connect to water and power with an added hose and 2" blocks under levelers in back. Still dramatically sloped. Looked like everyone was jacked way up in back.

Arrived after sunset, left in morning. Reservation Information easy to find at office. Hookups easy. The campground is under some construction and looks like it will have beautiful buildings and access to ponds. Nice Swimming pool and playground. Even a grill for ordering food at certain hours! However, we were truly hoping to use showers, but Bathhouses closed! No way to call or email Managers.

Someone did a great job laying out your camp. Most KOA's have sites that are so close to each other that slides nearly touch. I hope that you will consider screw on waste hook ups. I'm surprised that you haven't had some spills.. We will be back again in the warmer season. Let your guests know about the "bent and dent" stores operated by the Amish community. Ohio locals likely know.

Very disappointed in our stay this time. Only 1 bathroom available at office. Bathhouses closed in the campground. We should have been told this when we made our reservation. I realize this is a new campground and has many growing pains. Lack of communication is going to hurt return campers. We stayed earlier in the year and no bathhouse problem. Your website needs updated too.

Beautiful fall camping. Have watched Shelby grow more beautiful over the years and look forward to watching Mt Gilead do so too. Thank you for providing Covid safety.

We enjoyed our stay. The park is very scenic and the size of the lots are nice. Due to erosion there were several areas where the ground has washed out and created ruts. I stepped in one and twisted my ankle and knee then I was in pain all weekend. The onsite water pressure was excellent. Please trim the tree at the end of the G row it hits the campers.

My wife and I were a little surprised when we were charged a fee for early check in when we were an hour early to a half full campground also the site we booked was not the site we were placed. Hopefully it is growing pains for a new KOA good luck in the future we will try it again next year.
