We had a great time at this location. The staff was very friendly, Our pull through site was plenty big enough for our 5th wheel. The ladies had an awesome time playing wine bingo, they won 10 bottles. The campground is Family oriented, which means a lot to us. This is a new campground & the pool wasn't finished yet, They issued an unexpected partial refund. We can't wait to visit again next year

We enjoyed our first stay at Mt Gilead. The location was great, the sites were pretty level and the grounds and building were kept up nicely. Our dog really enjoyed the dog park! We made reservations for another weekend coming up soon!

A great blend of the owners. Love that the sites all have two dumps each. Very clean and organized and maintained. However, I wouldn’t have expected less out of these KOA owner. Kids activities were a hit too. We will be back.

It was a nice campground. We have our own golf cart and enjoyed driving around the old golf course property. I hope they keep mowing the area for us golf carters!

The patio sites were wonderful. They are plenty long enough for our 40 ft. toy hauler and truck. Staff was very friendly. Also it's great that you can order food and they deliver it to your site. Also a very nice store and swimming pool. When it is all finished, it will be fabulous.

We are big fans of the Shelby KOA and were excited to try the Mt Gilead KOA. We knew that it would be great as Gary and Vicki are wonderful hosts. The facilities were great even though it just recently opened and the staff was very friendly! Given time it will reach a five star rating for sure. We have recommended it to friends and hope to camp there again soon!

The employees were all welcoming and friendly. The young men in the Pub were the best we’ve experienced in a long time. Would go back anytime. Good luck with the expansion.

Stay were friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean and funny functional Great location across from state park Sites could use some trees for privacy / separation.

Still in the process of building this RV park, but wanted to check it our anyways. I have been to the Sunbury KOA in which those owners own part of this KOA. I know that one ROCKS, so I am looking forward to seeing how this one looks when it's all said and done.

Everything was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Would suggest hooks and stools in shower rooms.

Had a great holiday time over Labor Day with this awesome staff. They had lots of activities for the kids and made us feel like we were the only people there. So welcoming and concerned with the kids having fun. They also had The Lucky Penny Sisters there to sing and they were wonderful! We will absolutely be returning. Also their restaurant was good and so reasonably priced.

We loved the size of our site. Enjoyed the snow cone, pretzel and ice cream. Can't wait til next Memorial day to sty again. Thank you all for a wonderful weekend. The staff is awesome. Thanks Monique Lewis

The camp ground was great but it felt like Fort Knox. No guest were allowed which made our plans change. We would be glad to pay for a guest for their 2 hour stay but didn’t have the option. We also had to were wrist bands, not a fan. The campground across the street not only allowed guest but no wrist bands.

Very peaceful. Beautiful. Very patient and kind staff. This campground is typical of a campground associated with Gary and Vickie Cole.

The activities were good, the service was good, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only reason for my lower rating was the sites were uneven and the grass was very spotty which causes a lot of dust due to the dirt and a lot of dirt being tracked in and out of the camper.

Great Campground! Literally across the street from the entrance to Mt. Gilead State Park. All employees were very helpful and super friendly. Great camp store and pub with outdoor patio onsite. Lots of amenities for families and lots of green space. Only downside was there is not a lot of shade or shade trees. Will definitely visit again though.

I was there for the Labor Day Weekend, The park is really nice, but being "New" they are still in the building stage. Can't wait to see the place when it's done! The staff were super, the sites were spacious and I had a terrific view from my site. This just might be my new favorite campground and I can't until next year to see all the additions/improvements...Keep up the good work!!

The campground is beatiful and the staff is very friendly! Only downfall is that the pool was not completely ready for us to swim and the kids playground just needs some swings for the children. Other than those things this is an awesome campground and will get even better as the years come!

It was another fun weekend! The pool wasn't ready yet, but they discounted our stay. There were many activities that were still safe and fun in this age of Covid.

I dont think you have any business charging full when you are still under construction. The pool is unfinished, bath houses still being built, equipment everywhere... not worth what you are charging. Your staff was excellent, however! Very helpful and friendly.

We stayed for 5 nights. This campground is brand new, and still needs to get some time to make everything right. They were still laying gravel. The park is pretty, and the staff was friendly & helpful. It will be great, but needs time to smooth out.

Most of our stay was ok. When we arrived, we were not told about information at the park that would have been useful. After two days, I spoke with one of the KOA staff, I believe his name was Brandon, He informed me of the information that I needed. Also, this is the first KOA that wanted your to wear a yellow arm bracelet. Which is really stupid.
