It was great. Great staff. Great restaurant. Not fully open yet, so did not get full use of the facility.

We stayed Sun-Wed. Was very quiet, not a whole lot to do there or around. The Mt Gilead State Park was across the street. The campground has a nice general store. The have a little cafe but we didn't eat there. The pool still wasnt open. I'm sure once everything is done it'll be nice. Add some trees! No shade.

very clean. Bathrooms are excellent. Just wish they had a few more trees but I understand it is a work in progress. We will likely be back in the fall.

Fantastic location, amenities and especially staff. Our second visit here and we couldn’t be happier. This is a new KOA campground and they have really thought through everything. Excited to see how things evolve and very happy with the current level of hospitality.

Very nice campground, sites are long and have double sewer. Pool deck was large with nice chairs. It wasn’t open yet but anticipated this weekend opening. WiFi all through the campground. We were able to stream a movie. The pub had delicious pizza and staff members were friendly and helpful. We will come again.

Should be a nice place in a few years. Former golf course turned campground. No shade at this time, beautiful looking pool but not able to open yet. Cute pub, very friendly staff

Great new KOA but still a long way to go till all is completed. Friendly staff was great and helpful. Will visit again to see how much things change in a year.

We enjoyed a fabulous weekend with our family. The KOA was able to accommodate us with three sites together. The seven children had plenty of fun jumping on the giant pillow and climbing on the playground equipment. We are looking forward to our next visit when the pool will be open and the putting green available. We even enjoyed the pub. We highly recommend the pizza. Yummy!

This campground is brand new. The service was outstanding and the restrooms were very nice. Be aware though that there is very little shade as this location was previously a golf course and there are very few trees.

The pool was supposed to be done, it wasn’t. Would have been nice if we were offered a discount. Heard from other campers they got a discount but even after I asked we got nothing. Won’t be back till they have their act together.

We have been camping for 40 years and have never been charged for early arrival.That certainly means no referrals.

Wonderful large lots! Great fire pits! Very clean shower/restrooms at numerous places around the campground. Great play area for the kids! I was disappointed the pool wasn’t open (no fault of the campground). Beautiful area. We will be back soon!

Its going to be a nice campground when it’s finished ( new and still under construction) as the owners other campgrounds are fantastic. Had a good time and looking forward to returning at a later date!!

Everything was great and this will be a very nice campground once everything is finished being built. The pull through sites are the biggest we’ve ever been on and the food from their restaurant was great. All of the staff were great as well, especially Joel.

It's a good campground. Once much of the construction is complete and the pool is open, it will be really good. They were very responsive to my suggestions for the K9 Kamp. Shade is a premium, so the pool is a necessary in summer months.

It is a great new campground, with a lot of things in the works for the future. Being a brand new campground, a lot was not ready yet. We like the location, the land, the staff. Cant wait to see what heppens in the future with all of that land.

3 Stars for now, BUT, I will be back when you are fully developed. The pool wasnt open, its close though! There was no schedule of events for us to do as expected, nothing really to do in the area to offset the time you cant be outside in the sun, no trees to shade the camping areas. STAFF was amazing! HELPFUL! Knowledgable and friendly! Pub and wine slush was AMAZING! Grounds will be beautiful!

Pay full amount for half the amenities. Not much of anything to do for kids. First KOA I ever stayed at that didn’t even have cable but cost the same as other KOA campgrounds. No pool no arcade no fish. Staff was extremely friendly and store was nice.

This is a new KOA and a very nice one. The young man who took us to our site was awesome, it’s nice to see young people so friendly and willing to be a help.

People were friendly and very helpful. Only wish the pool had been open. However, I totally understand you can’t rush the pump manufacturer. We loved the spacious and very long sites! The premium site we had was very nice. It’s going to be a beautiful campground once a few trees begin to grow. We will be back.

We booked our site based on pictures online. When we arrived we had to move sites because we were in the very back and was mostly dirt without grass. Could not level the RV on the site after multiple attempts. Pictures online were opposite of what was real.

It suited our purpose. Our daughter and family lives close, so we did not spend much time at the campground. We think it will be a nice campground. It just opened in July and they are currently still working on it. They were just laying cement for the pool.

This campground is definitely a campground for the future. Our stay found it to be just a bit muddier than most would accept but you have to look at the big picture. The grass will grow!! Facility and restaurant/lounge very nice. Pool will be super when done. All staff very pleasant and helpful. We WILL be back. Check it out!! Easy off and back on for interstate.

DO NOT STAY HERE! ROBBED! 25' dump hose taken from bumper storage. Asked manager, Brandon, to replace despite waiver of liability. It would cost owners $20,but add a fortune in good will. A call was promised, never heard from them. PLUS, there were 3 rowdy, drunken parties going on. My senior wife, a grandma 4 times over, was catcalled en route the shower. Distasteful. We spent 9 nights at this KOA, and we enjoyed every minute! The park is new and is working through some growing pains, but that should not stop anyone from enjoying this KOA! The staff is wonderful! We were there during a tornado warning, and they notified everyone quickly! The pool was still being installed, but it was nearly complete when we left.

This was our very first ever outing in our new RV. What a fantastic experience. The facilities, amenities and especially the staff exceeded all expectations. Special shout out to Pearl, once of the maintenance and grounds leaders. He went out his way to help us newbies feel welcome and comfortable and help us get hooked up quickly and correctly. We’ve already booked our next visit!

First time visiting this KOA. It is a golf course converted to a campground with lots of potential. Some areas are still being worked on, but once completed it will be a very nice beautiful facility. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sites are fuul hook-up, spacious and well maintained. We are excited to stay with them in the future!

Very nice, new KOA. They are still building but off to a great start. Staff was friendly and courteous. The lots are big and clean. Our only complaint was that there are very few trees and not much shade. We will definitely stay here again soon.

The playground was amazing for kids of all ages. The store and restaurant were convenient features to have on site.

Mostly wonderful. All is very nice so far. Would love lots more trees (non-pines) and a working laundry (which I understand is coming soon). A few coat hooks in showers/restrooms would be appreciated. Restrooms/showers very nice and code access is good idea. Will come back again and check it again after you've been open for awhile.

Beautiful campground. Repurposing the golf course to a campground was a splendid idea. We be returning on a regular basis to see how it matures. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The website is very deceiving, sites as pictured do not exist. This campground is under construction. They only tell you pool is not ready. The putting greens do not exist. Only one restroom open. Yet they are charging top dollar and charge extra if you show up early. When comments were made at office, manager could only say he understood. This will be a good place in 1-2years, not now.

The stay was great, and the pub had great food and drinks. Very friendly staff. We had lots of rain while we where there and the grass is a little thin because of the place is very new. just opened the beginning of July 2020. Give it time and the grass should get thicker and cut down on the mud in spots. Would definitely stay again on our way thru. Thanks
