This WILL be a gorgeous campground but it’s not there yet. There are no trees but assume they’re planned. Campers not abiding by leash rules gave us 4 different dog visits within 90 minutes on site. Worst was NO SHOWER FACILITIES. They are building 3 new facilities but they’re not done yet. It would have been nice to know BEFORE check in, when they knew we weren’t self-contained (ie, a ten

Nice new sites with excellent pull-thru capacity. The site is 5-6 miles from major highway but it is a nice wide two lane in great shape. Fuel available close by.

Pros -Staff was friendly and helpful when checking in. -Sites are really spacious Cons -Hardly any trees on site, so it feels like you're sitting in a parking lot in the middle of a cornfield. -The firestation a mile away was a mild annoyance, but could've just been an active weekend. -Maintenence decided to mow around us at 6pm on Friday We checked out a day early. The most uncomfortable KOA I've stayed at. No shade, no privacy, the bathrooms and showeres weren't open but it didn't mention that at all on the website when we booked. Also no laundry. Seemed like the owner just wanted to make money and not create any sort of comfortable accomodations. Wouldd not recommend.

For the cost, the KOA doesn't have amenities. They didn't cut grass on our site, but did cut grass at vacant sites later in the day. The restaurant was a disappointment; limited menu and limited hours. No bathrooms were open. Cost of site would make more sense if KOA was up and running and everything was offered and open, but not worth the money when they are still figuring it out.

The shower houses being closed was an inconvenience. The grounds are very open, limited tree cover. The grass was high in many spots throughout the grounds, it was a nuisance. The pool not opening until 10am was an inconvenience. The spacing of the lots was great. There are only 2 cabins. The entrance and lot had some bad breakage and several pot holes, beware. The general store was very nice!

The young man who met us and took us to our site was both friendly and professional. Everybody in the store/office when I stopped in one day was exceptionally nice! We love how wide your sites are. Our 3 nights were quiet and relaxing after days at Mid-Ohio for racing. We are thrilled that you are where you’re located and we hope yo be back 2-3 times a year for more racing!

We are a 45ft motorcoach + toad. Sites were plenty long enough, but not level, but doable. We stayed 1 nite, didn’t use the amenities, so no comment. It is a young KOA, needs a bit more TLC, should be quite nice if they keep working on it. The 4 star was due to the entrance driveway needing a bit (a lot) of work. They also don’t honor the KOA discount. We would return if in the area.

Pool closed most of weekend. But the closed showers & restrooms throughout the park was ridiculous. None of this was advised until check-in even tough we called to verify pool was open. No discount was offered or given ... in fact was overcharged for extra child.

We are returning campers from last season, other than the shower houses not being open, we absolutely love this KOA. Staff is always friendly, campgrounds are clean and sites are always the perfect size! We definitely will return a lot this year

very nice park plenty of room for expansion. only negative is the park had to shut the water off two times while we were there for busted PVC water lines. Why would you put a 3/4" PVC pipe out of the ground for a dog to break????

Nice big camp sites. Need more trees and it would of been nice if the grass on the old golf course was cut for trails back there for walking. Wifi was not very good either.

We have a small camper and don’t use the shower because it is so small. We should have been told when making reservations or at least at check in that the showers were not available. I would go back if they have shower houses available. Pull thru lots are nice.

We had a great stay but have noticed the grounds are not as beautiful as it was last year. We do love this place and hope for continual improvements. Loved the patio

New KOA. We weren’t told upon booking that there were no showers available and that the closest bathroom was not open yet. Also this KOA was the most expensive on our trip. No offer of a discount because of these issues.

This KOA is new and very clean with a brand new pool. The staff members where friendly and helpful during our stay. This was our second time camping here and we will return again.

My site was very unlevel sewer site and was many open sites available but my complaint fell on deaf ears, the pizza was BURNT black no exaggeration and the employees UNLIKE the Sunbury location just have the idc attitude, also my husband and I went in to the store to look around and was followed and watched like we were thieves, I will NEVER go back there, ill stick with Sunbury KOA.

It’s a new campground, so the campsites are pretty nice and spacious. However, the pool wasn’t open despite it being sunny & nearly 90 degrees all weekend. Plus all the bathrooms and bath houses were also closed. No activities were going on. It was pretty boring overall. With the owners having 2 other very successful properties, we were expecting much more. Disappointed.

The campground was still new when we went. There is a lot of potential for growth. The restrooms/shower houses were not open yet. I would suggest a basketball court.

Always enjoy staying there but not happy with the check-In time. I feel it’s too late. By the time we setup most of Friday is over and we are paying for two days. Most of the campgrounds you can check-In at 1:00.

The campground itself was very nice, well kept and had friendly staff, however there was very little to do and explore around the premises. I understand that it is new and hope that as they grow they will add more activities and amenities. It has the potential to be a fun place.

We had a good stay. Love the patio sites. I paid cash when we got there snd never got a receipt. Thought I’d get it when we left after10:00am but not open. Asked for an email receipt. Nothing.

Great check-in experience including an escort to our site which was twice the size of normal sites. This campgrounds is fairly new. The shower houses are almost finished and the grass will continue to grow in. Looking forward to using the brand new pool at our next stay. Would like to see a better security system at the front gate entrance.

When the campground is completed I think it will be very nice. When we stayed bathrooms and showers were not open, there was an issue with the water so it was turned off for a few hours. I did not have a VIP site but noticed it was also gravel site with the exception of the picnic table area. When I stay and pay vip rates I look for cement or asphalt pad for me rig. Staff was very friendly

Excited to see what this new KOA can create. Great spaces, dog park was nice and spacious (could use some shade inside the park). Nice bathrooms. Pool looks like will be nice. Excited to see some grass growing was quite bare in spots. Also a few more patios would be nice. Will be back for sure
