The nicest KOA I’ve ever been too. Beautiful mature trees, nice pond, huge grass area, play area for kids and the staff is very friendly. They’re constantly working to keep it clean looking great. It is very safe for families with kids. We’re actually sad to leave!

Very clean, beautiful quiet campground. Conveniently close to interstate, but far enough away that the noise was not noticeable. Very reasonable price.

As always this is the best place that we stay. The friendliness of the staff spreads over into the other campers and you have a sense of welcoming. The grounds are well kept and clean which not only makes this campground aesthetically pleasing but safe to walk around in. The catch and release pond has a beautiful fountain that glows with color in the darkness. Plenty of shaded spots.

Person was pleasant at check in, that was the only thing good. Site to small for our fifth wheel and truck. Very narrow. Cement all broke up and not level. Cable was a joke, no sound on half the few stations they have. Stormed the night before and it was a mud mess.A little more gravel would of helped.

The park was well maintained and the staff was friendly. They were vary attentive and willing to help with any issues. The park has some concrete and rock rv spots. Some spots are shady while others are not. Overall it has a nice country feel. WiFi was solid, a big plus. We would definitely stay again if passing through.

Great folks, great park! We've stayed here twice now, and would consider this park our go-to for visiting or traveling through. Unlike so many KOAs, this park has quite a few concrete pads, and good WiFi. The grounds are well-managed & quiet. Give 'em a look.

Wonderful, friendly staff and a well maintained campground! Sites were level and wide offering plenty of room for slides. Convenient to I-30, but relatively quiet. Will definitely recommend.

The campground hosts were super helpful and friendly. The campground was nice and relaxing with convenient access to the interstate and local amenities. I will stay at this KOA again.

My husband and I have stayed at KOA Journey in Mt. Pleasant Texas for several months and we love the camp ground. It's beautiful and the owners keep it in pristine condition. The on-site laundry is very handy and inexpensive. The swimming pool is so nice in the summer. The pond with a fountain is nice and feeding the fish is so much fun! especially for children . It's quiet and safe. We love it!

We purchased our first camper trailer and wanted to get a test run in before our vacation in May. Mt. Pleasant was the perfect destination! Had everything we needed to learn about our camper. People were very friendly and helpful!

Was supposed to be overnight on a long trip, wound up staying three nights due to sick babies and storms. Staff was super friendly and helpful, the campground was always clean and had everything we needed. The sites are level, and have plenty of room. 5 stars without a doubt. I can see us using this campground both as a stop on the road and a multiple day getaway. Pet and kid friendly. Thank you

this was a very clean koa and did not look a trailer park with mostly full timers with all their junk out like some of the koa we have stayed at.

We stayed in a camping cabin while traveling through the area. Love this KOA! Cabins are clean and comfortable. Helpful touches like mini-fridge, TV, and porch swing make the stay extra nice. Tip: The Thai restaurant nearby has outstanding curry! We plan to return to Mt. Pleasant KOA again.

We had to add an additional night to our stay and the employees were very accommodating. The campground was nice for walking. Campsite was good.
