Just a really nice, quiet lovely place. Dog park was fantastic along with the pool. Bathrooms are new and very nice as well. Very friendly staff. Lots of places to walk your dog and love walking around the pond with her. This is our second time and it was just as good as the first. Plan on stopping by many times when traveling through Texas.

Most of the sites were gravel but we had a solid concrete pull thru big enough for our tt and long bed truck no problem. New owners revamping the park and looking good. Nice restrooms and showers. Grounds clean and nicely manicured. Would stay here again.

Well the pool was really cold and the dog walk part was not good at all. We had small dogs and there were so many gaps in the fences and underneath the fences that we couldn't enjoy it or our dogs couldn't enjoy it because they could get out. That was a real bummer. Other than that it was great it's too bad that Texas had experienced so much rain so it was very wet and damp.

You are right, our pool has been cold due to all the rain but we are heating up now. We are in the process of renovating the K9 grounds, we just completed the retaining wall and had to put up temporarily fencing at the front and will be upgrading with new fencing material.

This is our go to stop in between our home in Oklahoma and traveling back and forth to and from Texas and Louisiana. We love it. It's always clean and the staff is always accomodating of our needs.

Bathhouses were spotless. Need more gravel. Low spots collect pools of water quickly with rain. Internet very weak which is tough if you need to work.

Thank you for the comment. I am not sure why the internet was weak during your stay and sorry to hear this. We typically have a strong signal throughout the park unless there is a technical issue with one of our access point and not aware of. Thanks again.

We were there for a week. Fishing was great! Pool was fun! The owners did everything to make our stay wonderful! It rained a great deal and the owners were great at getting as much water off the road as possible. Mother Nature is not always kind but when you are camping, nothing is more soothing on the roof of a camper than the sound of rain! Thank you, KOA, for a great week!

Very nice and helpful staff. We had issues with standing water around our site from the enormous amount of rain they are experiencing right now. The staff stepped up and took care of everything. The restroom and showers were very clean as well. The pond was a real plus and the doggy park was a nice size for our 2 medium sized dogs. Would definitely go back.

Wonderfully warm welcome upon arrival. Clean facilities and great pad site. Wish it was not raining so we could see more of the grounds but we will go back.

very friendly staff. Very clean park, level sites. very little road traffic noise. Nice town to go visit and stock up on groceries. Wifi & cable work fine. Was able to pull in satellite tv in. Will stay there again on our way back home.

Our 3rd time here & excellent every time. On our trips through we try to time our overnight stop here. Easy access to Interstate but quiet, clean, great pull through sites & excellent late arrival accommodations. Best yet, they even have propane for filling the motorhome, Great service & extremely polite as well. Highly recommended!

A wonderful overnight stay! Check-in was nice and easy, friendly owners and no wait time. Campground was very quiet and after a long day of traveling it was much appreciated. Highly recommend this KOA.

Mt Pleasant is one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. The owners and staff are first rate in terms of professionalism and friendliness. The facilities are spotless and the grounds are immaculate. A+++++

Just overnight on the way home from AR, but enjoyed it. Nice, clean park. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy off/on I-30. Will be our stop when traveling that way.

We called this KOA at 4:30 pm from the road on a Wed evening and secured the last sizable pull-thru. It a bit short to hold both truck and FW. The staff showing us the site let us park the truck just across from our site in a vacant pad. Very nice!

The camp needs updating. Gravel roads full of pot holes and very uneven pads make it uncomfortable. Needed to put boards under m wheels to prevent auto leveling from lifting the front tires off the ground. KOA prices are higher than most parks. I just expect more!

Sorry to hear you feel this way, we work very hard on updating our campground and always get positive feedback on the changes we make. We agree, after every spring season we make repairs to our gravel roads due to the heavy rainfall this area gets. We offer level concrete pads. Thank you

It is a nice park. Don't go there when it is raining. Poor drainage, puddles being pumped into sewer with pool pumps and mud. It was dry when I got there but dried ip mud on concrete pad, of course tracking that into our trailer. I scraped as much of it as I could and the heavy rain washed it off. Maybe my expectations are too high but is it too much to ask for a clean site?

I am sorry you stayed with us during our wet season. This time of year we do get a lot of rain in this area and we work hard to pump only water out of those areas where it does puddle. Thank you.
